Rachel Garcia (5/4/25, 3:17 AM):
The business model of Dollar General seems to be what's hindering them. They tend to restrict or eliminate popular items and instead fill their shelves with slower-selling products. It doesn't make sense to remove single slices of cheese, which are high-demand items, or to only stock enough diet Mountain Dew in three refrigerators to last a family of four half a day. I may not be a business expert, but shouldn't the goal be to sell what customers actually want?
Chloe Cooper (5/3/25, 2:48 PM):
This is the second time I've had a negative encounter at this dollar general store. Tonight at 8:52pm, my husband and I were there and one of the staff members was incredibly rude. He was around 5’7” - 5’8”, with brown hair, heavyset, and made a disrespectful comment to a woman who was about to check out as we were also shopping. He said something like, “Are they taking up your time?”

What a fantastic way to treat customers! (said sarcastically)
