I must say, I terminated my membership back in October 2023, yet it seems they're still debiting me. The latest withdrawal was on the 1st of October 2024, a sum of $49.00. When I reached out to request a reimbursement, the lady in charge, after confirming my absence since the previous year, bluntly stated, "I'm afraid you're not entitled to a refund." It's worth keeping an eye on your statements, as there have been instances where they inexplicably bill you twice in one month without warning.

This gym happens to be my personal workout hotspot, and I must say, it doesn't disappoint. While there may be more premium PF locations out there, this one boasts a wide array of machines and a super laid-back staff who always greet you warmly. The cleanliness here is on point, contrary to what some critics may suggest. However, there's room for improvement in the women's locker room as a few locker handles were broken (a mere two lockers though).

Lovely equipment, pristine gym, delightful individuals at the front desk to welcome you. Zero pressure whatsoever for additional purchases. No intimidating muscle enthusiasts lurking about. The scent is fresh and inviting. The app is straightforward to navigate, and it's a relief not having to lug around an extra item. I've been a patron at numerous gyms, and this one surpasses them all. While I'm not particularly fond of big-box gyms, I do my cardio here, and for the cost, it's an unparalleled value.

The gym is generally quite clean, but the locker rooms and men's bathrooms could use some serious attention. I've brought this up with the staff before, but it seems like they may have forgotten.
Update: I'm a bit puzzled as to why the weekend hours are not 24 hours like other Planet Fitness locations, closing at 7pm on Saturdays. You can't really claim to be open 24/7 if you're not actually open around the clock like the other Planet Fitness gyms. I initially thought this was a temporary adjustment due to COVID, but it hasn't changed! It would be great if they could extend the hours at least until 10pm like nearby gyms. Despite Planet Fitness acknowledging my feedback, no action has been taken. With so many gym options available, I would expect them to address issues promptly, but that hasn't been the case. I'm sure they will respond to my comments to save face, but I doubt any real changes will be made. And please, can the staff stop cranking up the temperature in the weightlifting area compared to the rest of the gym? It's already too hot with all the bodies in there – we don't need it at 74 degrees! I've mentioned this multiple times, for goodness' sake.

Regrettably, the restricted operating hours pose a significant challenge for those of us leading busy adult lives. It appears that while the majority of Planet Fitness establishments in the vicinity have resumed their 24/7 operations, the Addison branch bids farewell as early as 7pm. For individuals with demanding or unpredictable schedules, I would hesitate to recommend this particular location due to its constrained hours of availability.
