I have been a long-time member of Xsport for nearly a decade, visiting various locations over the years. Currently, I have been a member at the Xsport in Addison since its opening. Every new business encounters some challenges initially, but I must say that I have identified a few standout employees who consistently go above and beyond to ensure that this gym is not only clean and safe but also fosters a sense of family among its members.
Brian Kravcar goes out of his way to ensure that each member has a pleasant experience at the gym and is always attentive to any concerns raised. Andy is the cheerful individual who warmly welcomes you at the entrance with his kind demeanor. He is incredibly proactive, constantly cleaning and maintaining the facilities to the highest standards.
Scott Salvatore possesses a unique personality and is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He is approachable, responsive to queries, and offers assistance whenever necessary. And last but not least, Bianca has truly transformed the cleanliness of the ladies' locker room since her arrival. Her dedication to ensuring the locker room is impeccable by stocking essentials like soap and paper towels has not gone unnoticed.
As a frequent visitor to the gym with my family, I deeply appreciate Bianca's efforts to maintain a pristine environment for us. Her infectious positivity and warm smile never fail to make members feel welcome. While I have witnessed many employees come and go, I sincerely hope that these four individuals remain with Xsport as they are truly integral to the exceptional experience provided. Xsport simply wouldn't be the same without them!
Andrew Howard (6/12/25, 11:06 PM):
This gym is absolutely brilliant, I highly advise folks to check it out. I must say, I am quite pleased with how tidy it is, much better than the XSport in Schaumburg.
Susan Perry (6/12/25, 8:26 AM):
I recently visited this gym with its brand-spanking-new facility and top-of-the-line equipment, which was quite impressive. The only drawback is that the popularity of the gym due to the shiny new gear can lead to overcrowding, making it a challenge to snag a machine for your workout. The staff members are always on hand and helpful, particularly during these pandemic times. Despite the occasional crowds, I found it to be a great value for the price I paid.
Judy Parker (6/11/25, 3:34 AM):
I must say, I was quite pleasantly surprised by how immaculate the gym, locker rooms, and pool were. As a member of xsport for over 20 years, I have never encountered a gym this clean. It's quite refreshing compared to the overflowing showers and standing water in the pool areas at other locations. A truly remarkable experience!
Joseph Flores (6/10/25, 6:29 PM):
I was charged an additional fee of 39 dollars for supposed personal training sessions, which I never agreed to or signed up for. It feels like they basically took my money without consent. This experience has definitely not set a good tone for my membership here. I am considering canceling and finding a different gym that values honesty and transparency in their billing practices.
Alexander Martin (6/10/25, 3:34 AM):
The staff at this gym lack professionalism and do not take the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of Covid-19. They fail to enforce the mask mandate as required by the Governor, and even some employees do not wear masks themselves. Non-members are able to access the facilities without being noticed.
Additionally, a lot of the equipment is out of order, the TVs are not functioning, and some areas have dangerous floor mats. It seems like the facility is not safe, and it appears that nobody is addressing these issues. I attempted to contact customer service but was left on hold for over 30 minutes before eventually giving up.
Juan Reyes (6/8/25, 2:37 PM):
The customer service at this gym is absolutely top-notch. Delia, Sal, and Danny go above and beyond to make sure I feel valued as a member. Not to mention, the gym itself is always immaculately clean and well-maintained. They also offer an impressive selection of protein bars and energy drinks. Overall, a fantastic gym experience.
Patricia Mitchell (6/5/25, 6:09 PM):
I reside in Lemont and make a point to visit this gym regularly. It's consistently tidy, the weight equipment is well-organized, the community is top-notch, and it offers excellent amenities.
Andrew Moore (6/4/25, 9:42 AM):
This gym is quite splendid. It's clean, with ample space between the machines, and the staff are quite friendly. Overall, it's rather enjoyable. However, I do wish they offered towel service. 😒
Sarah Bailey (5/31/25, 10:02 PM):
This gym is absolutely top-notch, mate! The vibes are just spot on, making it one of my absolute faves. The team here go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly - Sal and Delia in particular always go the extra mile to make sure my time at the gym is top-notch. If you're considering getting a membership, I strongly suggest you go for it - you won't be disappointed, I promise you that!
Joan Scott (5/30/25, 12:55 PM):
That gym is an absolute disaster. They're fraudsters who sneakily swipe your card details and keep debiting your account for no rhyme or reason. Their transparency is nil; they claim to reimburse the annual fee on a pro-rata basis upon cancellation, but it's all hogwash. On top of that, they slap you with a hefty cancellation fee. Unbelievably, they shun cash and checks, insisting solely on snatching funds from your debit or credit card without authorization. Attempting to reach their headquarters is futile - calls go unanswered, and emails are left hanging in cyberspace. Absolutely abysmal in every conceivable way!!!
Bruce Martinez (5/29/25, 4:35 PM):
I've been attending XSport Addison since it first opened. Today, Brian went above and beyond to assist my guest in signing up and also ensured that my rates were accurate. Throughout my time here, he has been the only manager to make sure all my account details were in order. I highly recommend signing up with Brian!
Additionally, the XIT classes led by Alfredo and Brandon have been an absolute blast!
Thanks a lot, guys!
Linda Walker (5/29/25, 3:35 AM):
This gym is a complete disaster. The bars on the cable machines feel like they're made out of plastic, the sauna bench is practically crumbling, and don't even get me started on the lack of towel service. And to top it all off, the roof leaks constantly. But the real kicker is the weights – they're so smooth that they roll all over the place, making deadlifting a nightmare. Plus, there are no medicine balls, not enough bar clips, and definitely not enough equipment for the cable machines. It's a total mess.
Charlotte Hamilton (5/25/25, 10:22 PM):
This gym is often unfairly criticized. It offers everything I could want in a fitness center (just missing a steam room). The staff are friendly and the facilities are well-kept. Without a doubt, the best Xsport location in the area.
William Long (5/25/25, 3:16 PM):
I must say, this gym location does not meet the standards I'm accustomed to. Regrettably, they lack the convenience of hydromassage chairs and a standup tanning booth. Additionally, the malfunctioning timer for the whirlpool and the presence of mold and debris in the air vents above it are concerning. The quality of the exercise equipment falls short compared to what I've experienced at Planet Fitness. To top it off, one of the massage chairs is deteriorating, there's a shortage of towels and sanitation bottles for equipment, creating a less than pleasant experience. The cleanliness of the pool and sauna leaves much to be desired. All in all, this gym is not up to par with my expectations.
Mia Carter (5/24/25, 7:06 AM):
The gym is alright, but there's a bit of a snag - they only have one water fountain. Water is pretty essential for a gym, so I reckon it's quite daft that there's only one fountain available. It would be wise for this gym to consider adding more water stations, perhaps even install a sensor-activated water bottle fountain, especially for a larger gym like Xsport.
Emily Morales (5/23/25, 1:38 AM):
The staff at this GYM are really friendly and the facilities are spacious with plenty of equipment for a good workout.
George Jackson (5/19/25, 3:43 PM):
I absolutely adore the gym, it's always impeccably clean with a spacious layout and fantastic lighting (you'd be astonished at how dim other places can be). The front desk employees Karen and Christian are simply fantastic - attentive, pleasant, and so professional! I'm currently training with Personal Trainer Jimmy, who is extremely respectful, knowledgeable, and professional. I'm excited to see my progress!
I must say, the management at this location is top-notch. I believe that other locations could benefit from a change in management or perhaps some management training. Keep up the great work, Addison team! 🎉
Emily Morales (5/19/25, 12:40 AM):
This gym is an absolute gem! The vibes and the community here are top-notch. It truly feels like a second home, not just a place to work out. Love it!
Ann Ramos (5/18/25, 10:15 PM):
Dropped by this spot last night and the dude at the front desk halted me to say I needed to put on my face mask. I moved aside to grab it from my bag, and instead of waiting, he told me off and warned me not to enter the gym (which I wasn't even trying to do at that moment). To top it off, he referred to me as "you people" and even threatened to involve the police, all while I was simply trying to follow the rules. Xsport, clarify what "you people" means in your customer service book and why threatening with police is considered okay.
