Hey mate, let me tell you about the struggles I had trying to cancel my gym membership during this whole COVID situation. The blokes at the company made it a right pain in the neck, I'll tell ya. After I finally dragged meself down to the gym and filled out a form in person, they had the cheek to tell me I still had to fork out for two more payments! Absolutely ridiculous, if you ask me.

I must say, the management at this gym leaves much to be desired. My lad and I have been loyal members for nearly five years, primarily drawn to the establishment for access to the basketball court. However, attempting to enjoy a game on a weekday is an exercise in futility. From 6 pm to 9 pm, the management permits full-court games without regard for other patrons patiently waiting their turn. Despite raising my concerns on multiple occasions, no steps have been taken to address this ongoing issue. A disappointing state of affairs indeed.

Gave it a go for a month, you know. The blokes in there don't bother wiping down a thing, and the staff couldn't care less, really. No rule about taking weights off, either. Gear and space are alright, but half of the treadmills are knackered. They went and charged me twice for the first month. The salesman was spot on, though. No harm done, it's just not up to scratch for what they're asking, if you catch my drift.

ZERO STARS!!! My hubby canceled our membership, but the gym went ahead and opened a new account in my name without permission, landing me in collections. A total nightmare!

What a rubbish gym! It's tiny, the equipment is terrible quality, and the hours are a joke for the price. Save yourself the hassle if you want to exercise as late as 8pm.

The positives:

The people here are fantastic and eager to assist you in navigating the machines! If you stop by, ask for Brian – he's top-notch.

The gym is spotless.

They have a great selection of well-maintained machines, so you won't find yourself waiting around to use one.

The negatives:

There's a fair amount of pressure to sign up for a long-term membership. Despite knowing I was using a Groupon, I still had to endure a full-on sales pitch to commit for a year. I was somewhat expecting this, so I was prepared for the ordeal.

Now, let's talk about the "fitness assessment." This was the major disappointment and left me feeling frustrated and downright angry. I received a "free fitness assessment" as part of the coupon. I scheduled my appointment and arrived, expecting a comprehensive evaluation of my fitness level and personalized workout recommendations. What I got was a total farce! The assessment lasted less than 15 minutes, followed by a relentless 45-minute push to sign up for personal training at over $300 a month. I promptly declined, feeling duped and manipulated. I was so incensed that I didn't return for a week until I cooled off.

I must say, I am quite fed up with individuals who insist on idly scrolling through their phones while occupying gym equipment. It is imperative that one either utilize the machine or vacate it for the benefit of others. Regrettably, the staff appears to be inactive in addressing this issue.

After being a member of this Gym location for nearly 11 years, I am worn out from supporting an ungrateful manager who only listens to complaints without offering any solutions for all the members. Despite this, I have never complained because I am thankful to be a part of this Gym, where my journey to losing 120 pounds began. The air conditioner is currently broken, and it may take a month or longer to fix it. The same goes for the equipment, and the steam room is also unavailable. I strongly recommend focusing more on maintaining the gym in perfect condition rather than dealing with the drama of unhappy individuals who always seem to spread their negativity.

I've been going to this gym for 4 years. I used to really enjoy it, as there's a great crowd in the afternoons and a friendly, focused atmosphere. However, the management was a bit odd. I raised concerns about a man who seemed to be following me during my workouts, but the management didn't take any action. Additionally, the sauna never seemed to work for more than a month at a time. Overall, the gym is a decent size with good equipment, but eventually, it just wasn't worth it for me.

This gym ain't too shabby, but it ain't no top-notch facility either, mate. They've got a fair bit of free weights to work with. However, it can fill up right quick since it's on the smaller side. On the bright side, they do a decent job of keeping the place clean, which is always a big bonus.

Absolutely dreadful management, wouldn't advise anyone to join. I relocated to another state and attempted to cancel my membership, but they provided no assistance in the cancellation process. Despite canceling, they persist in erroneously billing me. If I had the option, I would rate them 0 stars.
