I enlisted in personal training sessions at this gym, with Xavier as my trainer. It's been around 45 days now, and the improvement in the quality of my workouts has been remarkable. I must give a huge shout out to my trainer, Xavier. He's been absolutely fantastic, always keeping my goals in mind. My aim was to improve my fitness level and shed some weight, and I am thrilled to say that both objectives have been completely achieved. I am committed to continuing my training with him at this gym.
The gym is absolutely brilliant, mate! It's squeaky clean, and the folks who pump iron there are all bloomin' lovely. But me fave part 'as to be this geezer Hunter Faber. He's a personal trainer there, and even though we've only 'ad one sesh so far, he's right proper and taught me a lot! Can't wait to keep training with him in the future. Top notch bloke, dead knowledgeable. 10 on 10, I tell ya.
The staff have been most courteous and attentive. I've observed that the men's facilities are kept clean, and they make every effort to ensure everything is in working order and clean. I appreciate that things can occasionally break or malfunction, but they are prompt in their response to address the issue, such as the sauna and equipment. Please continue the excellent work!
If ya look good, ya feel good, and one way to look good is by training with Hunter! He's easily the best trainer I've ever worked with because he's knowledgeable, he pushes me, and he keeps it fun! I've been hitting the gym for years but never had someone guide me like Hunter does. He's been able to tweak my technique, introduce new exercises and stretches that target the specific areas I wanna work on. I'm always excited for my sessions with Hunter 'cause I know I'll have a blast and pick up some new skills!
A 24-hour gym that decides to close at 8:55pm because "it's a slow day."
Well, let me tell you, this gym has really gone downhill, it's a total disaster now. Equipment is broken and never gets fixed, there's a leaky roof with buckets and trash cans strategically placed to catch the rainwater, it smells, it's dirty, and poorly maintained, you name it. Good luck trying to figure out what weight you're using on the cable machines because the labels have worn off and they won't replace them in this dump. The urinals are caked in iron, water fountains are broken, and the bottle refill nozzle looks like it was torn off! I've actually started going to the 24 Hour Fitness over on S. Kipling. Stay away from this place at all costs.
WARNING - This 24 Hour Fitness is in a dreadful state of disrepair. Numerous weight machines are faulty and unstable (such as missing weight pins, torn rubber grips, and unsteady mechanisms). Upon venturing upstairs, a significant portion of the cardio equipment I attempted to use was out of order and non-functional (not an exaggeration). After finally locating a working machine, I discovered a repugnant, booger-like substance smeared on the handles. The establishment is in dire need of a thorough deep cleaning. It's quite difficult to fathom that this gym was once considered a top-tier 24 Hour Fitness club.
Absolutely not renewing my membership. They're no longer open 24 hours a day and don't wish to pay the overnight cleaners to maintain the facility as they did before Covid. It's truly disheartening to witness the demise of the once genuine 24-hour fitness establishments that have now chosen corporate greed over upholding their name.
This gym is absolutely smashing, I must say! I'm chuffed that it's one of the scarce ones that stays open 24 hours, just like the moniker suggests.
Now, I reckon I can't give it a full five stars, mainly because of the loos. They've made improvements in keeping 'em spick and span, but there are still some days when it's pretty dodgy, especially during the night shift, you know?
I went for a swim and the floors of the locker room looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a week or more. The steam room was also very dirty. Not end of the day dirty but, the facility is not regularly cleaned dirty. If hygiene is important to you I would not recommend. I was a member here five years ago and the shower area was not very clean but this was a whole new level of neglect.
A bit packed but that's normal! Plenty of fantastic gear. The chaps at the reception really did a stellar job convincing me to upgrade my membership to a higher tier! I even had the opportunity to chat with Brayden as he enrolled me, and I must say I found it quite therapeutic. Looking forward to utilizing all the equipment at this establishment with my new membership. My apartment didn't have even a fraction of these machines, so it'll be splendid to broaden my workout repertoire.
Da basketball court, restroom area, and sauna door are all presently broken. I fear for the future of this place. It may go the way of many other gone but not forgotten 24 hr. fitness's. This is so sad! Investment in non concept 2 rowing machines is ill advised. Hoping for the best! Is maintenance a possibility?
Ah, what a jolly good club! My Sport spot on Broadway shut its doors, but now I have access to this splendid Super Sport establishment. It's quite spacious, with a plethora of cardio machines on the upper level, and weight machines and free weights downstairs. They even boast a petite lap pool and hot tub, although I'm unsure if the sauna was in operation.
Masks are not mandatory at this locale for those who have had their vaccination. Cheers!
I do fancy this establishment, have been frequenting it for a good few years now. It offers decent bang for your buck.
Could you kindly attend to the cable fly machines at the back of the premises? These are quite popular... you have 3. One has been out of commission for several weeks, and lo and behold, today I noticed the second one has also gone kaput. My faith in the overall equipment maintenance standards here is wavering after observing such occurrences over the years. Should the third machine decide to call it quits, I might just explore what Life Time Fitness has to offer.
No longer open 24 hours, but still a jolly good gym overall, I must say!
I am absolutely chuffed that there's AC here, unlike some other gyms open 24 hours. But why on earth are the doors left wide open, letting all the cool air escape on a 97-degree day? Honestly, it's a bit daft, isn't it? 24 has gyms in places like Denver, such as Lowry, that don't even have AC, and this gym seems to be air conditioning the bloomin' parking lot! I thought they were trying to get out of bankruptcy, not dive back into it. Come on, let's be a bit more responsible, shall we?
The location is fantastic, the equipment is pretty solid. I've always enjoyed working out here. But goodness gracious, the cleanliness has really gone downhill.
Poop on the floor? Seriously? I use toilets as a gauge of how clean a business is overall. If they don't care about the toilets, it makes me wonder how everything else is being cleaned and maintained... Not sure if I'll come back unless things improve.
I've attached some pictures of the men's bathroom. The rest of the locker room was a total mess, but I'll spare you those pictures.
I can't wait to hear from management how they have "room for improvement." Please pay your employees better and provide them with better cleaning supplies.
This gym is like so ancient, with absolutely zero vibe. It's more for the super neat and organized types. I gave it a shot for a free trial one day and honestly, I won't be returning!
The equipment is ancient, tattered, and riddled with loose screws! And my word, the lockers are in a dire state! A multi-million dollar company offering such abysmal services. I shan't be returning once my membership expires this year!
Without a doubt, the Highlands Ranch 24 Hour Gym location is simply the best. Having resided in Denver for eight years, I have frequented four other 24 Hour Gym locations during that time. Yet, none can compare to this gem. The gym is brightly lit with a diverse array of weights and weight machines. The customer service staff are consistently friendly and attentive, and the men's locker room is immaculately maintained. Unlike other locations such as Alameda, Lowry, Tiffany Square, or Colorado Blvd, this establishment is always clean and well-kept. What sets this gym apart is the added amenities like the pool, hot tub, dry sauna, and wet sauna, making it excellent value for money. I wholeheartedly recommend this gym as it restored my faith in the 24 Hour Gym franchise. This location serves as a prime example for all other 24 Hour Gym locations to emulate.
