This gym was absolutely brilliant when I first joined! However, when the pandemic struck, everything went downhill. They continued to charge me $56 per month for the two months they were closed, which was a huge warning sign for me regarding their business practices. Their explanation was that they would tack on those two months at the end of my contract. Despite freezing my account for the maximum allowable period of two months, I argued that it was unrealistic to expect the pandemic to be over in such a short time and requested my account to stay frozen until things improved. Yet, two months later, I found myself being billed another $56. Once more, they adamantly refused to reimburse me and insisted on extending my contract instead. After another heated exchange, they eventually agreed to keep my account frozen until I felt safe returning to the gym post-pandemic. Fast forward two months, the pandemic is still ongoing, and lo and behold, I've been charged $56 AGAIN! Looks like I'll have to pick up the phone and go through the whole process with them once more.

To make matters worse, they continue charging me the premium rate for access to amenities like the water massage table and tanning bed, even though these facilities are closed to the public.

My next step is to escalate this issue to their corporate headquarters so they are aware of how their franchisees are managing their business during this crisis. Following that, I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, despite the gym already having a dismal one-star rating due to similar complaints across multiple locations in the USA. Additionally, I intend to reach out to local media outlets to shed light on how a company that claims to prioritize its customers and community is, in reality, focused on making a profit at all costs. Since the start of the pandemic, they have taken a total of approximately $336 from me without providing any services in return, except for poor customer service that seems uninterested in resolving issues.

The staff is always attentive, facility is clean, Manager Linda, trainer Daniel and TJ spice things up and keep it interesting, best part of my day is spent here with a great workout group.

It's not too crowded, but the gym is a bit on the smaller side. I did cardio, and there wasn't quite enough space with only four people. The bathrooms are decent, but the handrails in the shower were rusty. They should consider moving to a larger location because the small size was a major drawback. However, apart from that, the equipment is well-maintained, although they were lacking yoga blocks.

I have been attending Anytime Fitness in Mauston for more than a year. The entire staff consistently displays helpfulness, understanding, and encouragement. The atmosphere is superb, and the staff's enthusiasm is contagious. The equipment is top-notch, and if I require assistance, the staff is always on hand to help me out. They truly "go the extra mile." I highly recommend Anytime Fitness in Mauston. You won't be let down!

I must say that the selection of ab workout machines at this gym is rather lacking. It seems that there is only an incline sit-up machine available! More variety in ab machines would definitely enhance my workout experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, but it's a shame that the machine options are limited. There is plenty of cardio equipment and weights, but only one inexpensive ab machine.

This gym ain't that sizable. They've got a designated deadlift platform with a barbell specifically for deadlifts and some rather fancy bumper plates. It's quite top-notch for an Anytime gym. You can pop in for free, of course, but if you're keen on backing small business owners, it's just 10 bucks for a visit.

This gym has a proper decent fitness vibe, it's really important to me. The staff are helpful, and the equipment is top-notch and provides a good challenge. Surprisingly impressive were the personal alarms available for use during after-hours workouts. I haven't had to use them, and always feel secure and welcomed, but knowing that extra safety measure is there is quite reassuring.

Not chuffed at all!!!! And the fees are a tad steep for a 24-month commitment....
