There ain't no changing room. The lockers come with a sofa instead of waterproof benches, as they ought to. The gym constantly stinks of strong, toxic chemicals that just make you wanna retch. They think it's okay to do some "cleaning" (more like fumigating with neurotoxins) right smack in the middle of rush hour from 5:00 to 6:30 PM, just before the women's section closes. It's a stretch to call this place a "health" club. The pool is hardly ever clean. They boast about being open 24 hours, but that only applies to men. Women don't get 24-hour access to their side. It's tough to call the general area anything other than a "men's" section because it's all big gear tailored for men, which is why when I spot women, they're nearly always in the women's section. You'd never see the roles reversed where the women's kit is available round the clock and the men's is only open for a tiny window before and after work hours; in other words, they try to play at being an equal rights gym but they sure don't hide the fact that they see women as second-class citizens.

Dynamics is without a doubt the finest gym in New Iberia, far surpassing any Planet Fitness location. It caters to individuals who are serious about their fitness journey, rather than those seeking a casual atmosphere to socialize and goof off. For those individuals, I would recommend considering an option like Anytime Fitness or Planet Fitness instead.

What a splendid gym! I must thank you kindly for the chance to work out at Dynamic Health Club with a guest pass this week while visiting family. I am truly grateful for the authentic step mills, leg presses, hack squats, and back machines that are often missing at the feeble franchise gyms. Additionally, all the members and staff were exceedingly amiable, and the facility was impeccably clean 🤩
