Absolutely smashing new workout studio, I must say. I've been thoroughly enjoying the emphasis on proper form and building strength. The array of classes keeps things quite riveting, and the trainers (Alex, Stevie, Payton, Donovan) are all remarkably knowledgeable and supportive during sessions. Jolly excited to bolster my strength!

I totally can't wait for my next workout! After years of the same old routine, BFT is always changing it up and really gets the calories burning. It's truly incredible! Thanks, BFT :)
Bobby Lewis (4/13/25, 5:18 AM):
By far me favorite group class I’ve ever attended. De coaches are kind, courteous, and motivating without making ya feel unsafe or "less than". Dey offer actionable feedback on form and help ya actually get stronger whilst avoidin' injury.
De programmin' is really solid and structured in a way to fundamentally get stronger. De days also rotate so if ya can only come on certain days, ya won’t be stuck doin' de same class over and over like other group workouts.
Equipment is clean, plentiful, and high quality. Yer never havin' to go lighter or heavier than ya want simply because dere aren’t enough barbells.
Lastly, de community is so solid. Every body type is represented and people are extremely supportive and kind. Overall, just a very safe and motivatin' space.
Billy Brooks (4/10/25, 11:23 AM):
What a jolly good gym! Absolutely adore the wide range of classes, blending strength, weights, and endurance so splendidly. It's akin to personal training but in a convivial group atmosphere. The trainers are top-notch, always keeping you spirited and chipper. Was originally in search of a personal trainer but stumbled upon this gem and couldn't be more cheerful. Do give them a whirl! Cheers!
Donald Brown (4/10/25, 10:17 AM):
Body Fit Training 'as 'elped me in my fitness goals, luv. Since October 2023 this trainin' program 'as 'elped me to drop 7 pounds of body fat and gain 7 pounds of muscle. If you just do what the coaches tell you, your body will get healthier. Just so you know, it's not a quick process but it does work, mate.
Sara Moore (4/9/25, 7:02 PM):
I must say, I was overjoyed to stumble upon this establishment just as my usual gym announced the discontinuation of their group training program (thank you algorithm!). The trainers are personable, encouraging, and well-informed, all without any of that overly macho gym-goer attitude. The support team is incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. The workouts are both stimulating and enjoyable, never dull. The timetable is excellent. I can't recommend it highly enough!
Margaret Turner (4/9/25, 3:13 AM):
Just tried out this new fitness studio in the rockridge neighborhood. They offer circuit-style training with different stations that you move through.
The trainers are fantastic and the equipment is top-notch. My only suggestion would be to have a more structured warm-up at the start so there's ample space for everyone to stretch and follow along. It would also be helpful to have some window coverings because the sun can be distracting when you're using a machine and looking outside.
Philip Myers (4/7/25, 12:56 AM):
Absolutely adore this venue! Such a splendidly intense workout, but oh so rewarding. The trainers are top-notch! I shall most certainly be returning without a doubt.
Andrea White (4/5/25, 8:41 PM):
Marvelous gym and absolutely talented instructors!
Frank Ortiz (4/4/25, 5:42 AM):
I've absolutely adored coming to this gym! The array of workouts and the fantastic trainers make for a splendid class experience. Coupled with the friendly community, this gym truly makes working out enjoyable while assisting you in getting stronger! And let's not forget, it's in a marvelous location too!
Debra Morgan (4/3/25, 6:43 PM):
I must say, I am a fan of these group workouts with screens displaying the exercises and instructors moving around. With my busy schedule juggling work and kids, I really appreciate the timers ticking down to start and finish the class - it's reassuring to know that the class will begin promptly regardless of the instructor. I am thoroughly enjoying this experience and feeling stronger by attending twice a week alongside my running routine. However, I can see how the setup might be daunting for individuals with less experience. My advice to newcomers would be to stick with it for a few sessions to fully grasp the concept and benefits.
George Kim (4/3/25, 2:52 AM):
I absolutely adore BFT! The coaches and programming are simply fantastic - I truly value how the coaches can customize the workouts for everyone in the room, regardless of their fitness level, and they always radiate positivity and enthusiasm to assist members. We are truly fortunate to have them in our community!
Sandra Sanchez (4/2/25, 5:40 PM):
BFT is an all-encompassing fitness program. The sessions vary daily, which keeps things interesting. What appeals to me is the organized nature of the classes. Just arrive and follow the coaches' instructions.
Deborah Nelson (4/2/25, 3:50 AM):
I absolutely adore the inclusivity and warmth of this studio. It's a fantastic mix of young individuals, seasoned folks, diverse body shapes, and varying abilities. As I recuperate from Long Covid, they've been excellent at guiding me at a suitable pace while also pushing me to progress. An outstanding establishment, indeed!

I cometh from Orange Fitness, and thus I shall lay down the chief contrasts betwixt Orange Theory Fitness (OTF) and Body Fitness Training (BFT) as both dost bid thee to don HR monitors and engage in "scoring".
HR (HEART RATE) AND "SCORING"
- BFT: thou art rewarded for abiding in a zone (e.g. 80 - 90% HR for cardio) and pushing thyself but not too hard, with the coaches there using it to tailor thine effort. Should thou exceed the recommended HR, thou dost earn fewer points than if thou didst remain.
- In OTF, I doth not oft hear aught from the coaches about mine individual HR, and I am not dissuaded from pushing to red (90%+ HR) and staying there. Thou doth receive the same “splat points” for being in the Orange zone (think 80% - 89%) and Red zone (I think it’s like 90 - 100%+)
COACHING
- BFT: Thou hast 2 - 3 coaches who gaze upon thee and bid thee improve thy form, if needed
- OTF: Forasmuch as there is only one coach, and he/she must needs oscillate betwixt the cards and weights, he/she doth not truly have much time to rectify thine postures
CARDIO
- BFT hath 6 or more cardio exercises in my mixed session, so they could have more than that in a pure cardio session
- OTF: Merely 2 cardio options: row and treadmill
VARIETY
- BFT hath a far greater variety and they even offer boxing/kickboxing with bags. For Cardio day, I did 12 different exercises with sundry machines (ski machine, 2 different stationary bikes, treadmill, row machine)
- OTF: hath 2 main options: cardio (row and tread) and some weights. I did a “tread” day there where I was on a treadmill for 60 minutes.
COST
- BFT doth cost $200 for 8 classes ($25/class)
- OTF costeth $250 for 10 classes (likewise $25/class)
COMMUNITY and NUTRITION
- BFT hath an 8-week challenge thrice a year wherein thou measurest thy body fat, and whosoever loses the most receiveth a cash prize (I think it's like $2000). The challenge also aideth thee with nutritional guidance providing recommended calories, protein, fat, carbs, and giving thee recipes to follow shouldst thee choose. Furthermore, thou can be on "teams" and the team that collectively loses the most shall make a donation to a charity of their choice, which I found quite cool.
SUMMARY
- I would liken BFT unto personal training with a myriad of variety and OTF unto more of a Spin class where thou art not receiving as much personal attention from the trainer.

DETAILED REVIEW:
This marks my 2nd visit to BFT in 2 weeks.
The coaches did divide us into groups of 2 with three trainers overseeing about 12 of us, resulting in a ratio of roughly four clients per trainer. This setup proved beneficial to me as I was new to the exercises and did appreciate the instructions.
The variety of cardio machines was impressive, as I engaged with 6 different cardio machines:
- Battle Ropes
- Bike with arms
- Treadmill with parachute resistance
- Nordic Skiing machine
- Bike without arms
- Rowing
Battle Ropes proved to be quite challenging, and the rope didst barely move during my 3rd set. Yet, I observed some of the veterans wielding the ropes, and the coach did guide with his hand, urging the client to reach that level with the ropes. Alas.
Following the cardio, the latter half of the class focused on strength training, primarily targeting the lower body with hinge movements like deadlifts. This part of the workout was intense yet never overwhelming. I utilized my HR to ensure I was not overexerting.
Something intriguing I did perceive was a day dubbed "beast mode" day, where they did roll out the bags and bestow boxing gloves upon everyone.
Altogether, the workout proved to be challenging yet manageable. It struck the right balance between pushing my limits and ensuring I could complete the exercises. I did indeed feel accomplished at the end.
I did also sense a feeling of community; my workout partner, along with the trainers, did offer helpful tips on correcting my posture on one exercise, and that's the utmost value for me in obtaining a trainer: maintaining good posture so as not to injure myself.
