This gym is fantastic, it may be on the smaller side but it's got all the essentials you could ask for.
Walter Henderson (6/7/25, 5:50 PM):
The lovely lady over yonder was quite accommodating. I reckon she must be the head honcho around these parts. A plethora of weight contraptions to choose from. Not too shabby, I dare say. On the flip side, the parking situation leaves much to be desired, but that ain't the manager's fault. Seems like Google Maps got a bit muddled up with the location, it's actually situated on the western brink of the building.
Debra Lee (6/5/25, 9:48 AM):
I quite enjoy utilizing the gym equipment. The treadmills can be found on the upper floor.
Cynthia Young (6/3/25, 7:16 AM):
This establishment is miles better than the other one in Santa Fe, but it's lacking in upper body equipment for those not keen on weight lifting. I only spotted a single stationary bike, and it was in pretty shoddy shape. Plus, the absence of lockable lockers meant I had to lug my bag around instead of risking leaving it on open shelves.
Douglas Price (6/1/25, 10:20 PM):
It's quite an odd set-up they have here, but they've certainly made the best of it. Although there aren't many chances for powerlifting, there are plenty of machines and cardio gear available if that's more your speed.
Layla Campbell (5/31/25, 7:41 AM):
It's a gym, haha. It's usually quite tidy and well-kept. I tend to work out at unusual times and I never have any issues with the surroundings or getting access to the equipment.
Danielle King (5/30/25, 10:19 PM):
Definitely the most revolting gym I've ever come across. The floors and equipment were covered in visible dirt, hair, and who knows what else. The bathrooms were an absolute disaster. I was hesitant to even touch the floor during my warm-up stretches, and using the equipment made my skin crawl.
The place was overcrowded, chaotic, and clearly not well-maintained.
I have an anytime membership at my local gym, which I had previously rated 4 stars, and it is lightyears ahead of this one. It baffles me how there can be such a gap in quality between two gyms within the same company.
If I wasn't getting in for free with my membership, I would never set foot in this gym again. I'd happily pay to go to a different gym that's not even in the same network before considering giving this place another chance.
Roger Turner (5/30/25, 3:05 PM):
They spared no expense on the equipment for their members. I've visited close to a hundred Anytime locations, and this is one of the tidiest ones I've come across. Plus, there's enough space to park a truck in the gravel lot next door!
Doris Morales (5/28/25, 4:53 PM):
It ain't flawless - it's just right for what it is. A fully stocked barebones gym, conveniently located near my place, open around the clock for a very, very fair price. That's what I require. If that's what you're after, sign up for a membership.
Juan Martinez (5/25/25, 4:17 PM):
The staff are absolutely lovely and the facilities are top-notch.
Charles Martin (5/20/25, 10:51 PM):
Chris did a fantastic job turning a frustrating ordeal into a positive experience.
Deborah Carter (5/18/25, 4:49 PM):
Update: Visited a few Anytime gyms across different states and explored various gym brands, and must say that the equipment at this particular gym is top-notch! The cardio machines are equipped with the latest Preva touchscreen OS, perfect for easily monitoring workouts and calories burned through a phone app. It may seem like a small detail, but it truly enhances the workout experience.
I've been a regular at this gym for 9 weeks now, and I am absolutely loving it. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the wide range of machines and free weights available is impressive. The spacious upstairs area dedicated to treadmills and cardio equipment is a bonus. Additionally, having access to bathrooms and showers onsite is incredibly convenient. The management team is also very friendly and accommodating.
I personally utilize my Blue Cross $25/month plan for membership, so I can't speak to the contract terms, but considering the quality of facilities and services offered, I am more than satisfied with what I am receiving.
Joining this gym has been a fantastic decision, and I always eagerly anticipate my workouts there.
Isabella Perez (5/18/25, 10:18 AM):
I absolutely adore Anytime South, the equipment is top-notch and the place is always spotless. The only downside is that it's a tad on the smaller side, yet I still thoroughly enjoy my workouts there;)
Mark Ramirez (5/18/25, 9:35 AM):
This gym 'as seriously gone downhill since the new management took over. It was a mess even before the Pandemic, and now they don't seem to 'ave many safety measures in place. They're terrible at returning phone calls and are quite rude. Customer service is clearly not their forte, which is a shame because the previous managers were top-notch. Do yourself a favor and invest your money elsewhere where they truly value their customers.
Dorothy Graham (5/17/25, 1:15 PM):
Had a chat with Derek, the manager at this gym, on the blower about my membership. We discussed a few bits and bobs and decided I'd level up to the loyalty scheme. Cheers for the top-notch service!
Roy Nelson (5/12/25, 7:20 PM):
By far, the dirtiest gym I've ever visited. I didn't even stay after walking in. Ew.
The equipment is old, filthy, and there's barely any variety. Definitely the worst gym I've been to, and I travel a lot for work, so I've seen a few.
Andrew Harris (5/11/25, 5:26 PM):
Such a nostalgic atmosphere. This gym truly embodies the essence of a traditional workout space. The bench press section is quite impressive. Personally, I thoroughly enjoy my time here; I am able to focus on my workout and then head straight home.
Rebecca Diaz (5/10/25, 1:41 PM):
I applaud your dedication to staying open and catering to your clientele amidst these challenging times. It's great to see everyone coming together to adhere to the regulations and ensure the safety of others. However, I couldn't help but notice that the closed captioning feature seems to be malfunctioning on some of the machines upstairs. It would be wonderful if this issue could be addressed promptly.
Jeremy Lopez (5/10/25, 3:05 AM):
The gym boasts a plethora of meticulously maintained equipment and is as well-organized as one can expect in a Santa Fe establishment. The ambiance is warm and inviting, alleviating the typically daunting atmosphere often encountered in similar fitness centers.
Christopher Reyes (5/10/25, 12:50 AM):
I recently joined this gym when I relocated to Santa Fe a couple of months back. Having been a member of Anytime Fitness in the past, I must say this particular location has left me thoroughly disappointed. It's quite grimy and seems neglected compared to others I've experienced. I had to intervene when a man was caught filming women working out in the gym. He was dressed in jeans and flip-flops, clearly not there to exercise. Management dismissed my concerns of feeling unsafe as an isolated incident and insinuated that I was unfairly judging their "trusted members". The equipment is in poor condition, with torn padding and missing or mismatched pieces. The floor is far from clean, and the provided mats are worn out, leaving residue on your hands and falling apart. To top it off, the staff sent out a survey requesting feedback on member experiences, which I truthfully responded to, only to receive a scathing email in return for sharing my honest opinion. It's a major red flag when a company fails to prioritize member safety and instead isolates them, leaving them feeling unheard.
