My kiddo 'as been trainin' at Basche's fer near 3 months now. Since startin', she's grown in confidence and 'as been developin' self control, somethin' she were 'avin' trouble with fer the past year. In a nutshell, the discipline needed fer trainin' at this dojo 'as made a big impact on 'er daily life in a good way. We're excited for our other kids to show an interest in martial arts and sign up at Basche's.
Our 5-year-old lad has just started his lessons with Sensei at the Martial Arts School, and he is absolutely loving it. The young ones aren't just mastering karate, they are also gaining valuable life skills. My elder son and daughter spectate the classes, and it's quite evident that they are absorbing some fantastic teachings simply by being present in the dojo. We are truly grateful for this opportunity!
Our lad is absolutely chuffed about his karate evenings! We're over the moon that we stumbled upon Basche's for him. He's really honing in on his focus and his self-discipline is getting better with each session. The setting is spotless and the instructors are ever so respectful and understanding. Would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone!
Update: Jake, at 10 years old, has achieved the prestigious rank of Blackbelt in our martial arts school. 🥋 Sensei Basche continues to uphold his reputation as a true master of the craft! Having encountered other "karate" instructors in the area, I can confidently say they pale in comparison. I would never consider sending my son anywhere else! Your dedication to the students does not go unnoticed and is truly valued. 🙏
My son began his karate journey this summer, at the age of 4, and he thoroughly enjoys attending classes. Enrolling him was a fantastic decision. Sensei and Mary are exceptional teachers. He has recently started sparring with his peers, which has quickly become his favorite part of class. The atmosphere is both disciplined and professional, even for the little ones. In today's society, it's refreshing to find a place like this right here in Fort Wayne. I have no doubt that even Joe Rogan would be impressed by what we have to offer!
Just one week into the classes and I've already noticed a positive change in my daughter. She's become more disciplined and respectful. She eagerly anticipates each class and thoroughly enjoys being at Basche's. The sensei imparts valuable wisdom to the kids, which is refreshing to hear from an outsider. Sensei Basche has become a positive role model for my child, and Ms. Mary is simply amazing! Trying out their free week offer is definitely worth it to see if it's the right fit for your child. A bloomin' brilliant spot to train for kids and grown-ups alike, I must say. Me two lads and meself are all present students. My eldest lad, the aim was for him to improve his focus, self-control, and to grasp respect. As for me and me youngest, attending classes 'as bolstered our confidence, you know. They're not just showin' self-defense 'ere, but they're also a-helpin' to shape solid character traits. Sensei Basche 'as a proper passion for teachin' martial arts and seein' 'is students' progress, it's grand to see.
My 14-year-old daughter has been going to this martial arts school four days a week for a year now, and the difference it has made is truly remarkable. She's much more confident and assertive in expressing herself, and her grades have shown improvement as well. After every class, she comes out beaming with happiness. I began my son in the Little Tigers class at Basche's Martial Arts here in Fort Wayne, IN around November 2021. I have seen a tremendous improvement in his respect, self-discipline, and obedience towards both his father and me. His school has also noted a positive change in his attitude, behavior, and his academic performance has flourished. Despite being in 1st grade, he is now reading at a 5th-grade level and has math skills equivalent to 3rd grade! He has proudly moved up to the basic kids class, sporting his yellow belt and respect patch with two belt stripes. We are beaming with pride at his progress, all thanks to Sensei Basche's exceptional training and mentorship. This has truly been the best decision we've made for our son, and we have witnessed significant personal growth in him throughout this journey.
The impact of Basche's Martial Arts was so inspiring that I decided to enroll myself as well. Having had to leave my job to care for my parents and children, with my mother battling early-onset dementia and my father undergoing dialysis, I made the courageous decision to donate my kidney to my father. Although the initial stage of the transplant process was successful, I faced a setback during the second stage due to my high BMI and weight. When I joined Basche's at the end of November, I weighed 253 lbs. with a BMI of 43.8, far from the goal of 217 lbs. and a BMI of 40 or lower. Today, I proudly weigh 214 lbs. with a BMI of 37.6, well within range of my target. I have begun the second stage of the transplant testing with renewed hope and determination.
I am deeply grateful to Sensei Basche and the entire team at Basche's Martial Arts for their unwavering support, encouragement, and positivity in every circumstance. Thanks to them, I now have the confidence to look at myself in the mirror, shop for new clothes that fit beautifully (according to my kids, I can dress like a lady again), and rediscover my true self. I am committed to continuing my journey at Basche's for the foreseeable future without a doubt.
