I could hardly wait for the opening of the Metro Center location - so pleased that I did, as I've been working with Jeff Dobos since day one. The customized regimen of weight training/nutrition is top-notch, and Jeff's attention to detail and dedication to excellence (both in smoothly operating the gym and tracking my progress) is truly impressive. He accommodates my unpredictable schedule, genuinely listens to assist me in reaching my specific goals, and (safely) pushes me beyond my personal limits. I have never experienced this level of consistent progress in typical group/boutique exercise classes. Certainly a valuable investment - you truly get what you pay for!

My experience at Ultimate Performance was absolutely brilliant! Following my initial assessment with Brandon, I started a regular training schedule with Taylor. What really struck me was the gym's and everyone there's supportive attitude towards each individual's fitness journey. They are thorough in evaluating all factors impacting your health: diet, sleep, steps, and weight training. The UP app serves as your comprehensive guide for everything. Over the next six months, I managed to shed over 30 pounds, reduce my waist size by more than four inches, and regain muscle definition akin to my early twenties!

I must admit, I was a bit hesitant about some of the suggested diet changes at first; however, once I incorporated more protein into my meals and witnessed the results, I made lasting adjustments to my eating habits to maximize lean muscle mass.

UP also distinguishes itself with its encouraging environment. There were instances when Taylor had prior commitments out of town, but he always arranged for a substitute trainer to cover those sessions. Consequently, I had the opportunity to train with Brandon and Zack. Training with them was seamless and provided me with added motivation for my fitness quest.

To sum up, I can't sing UP's praises enough. Whether you're looking to kickstart or elevate your physical fitness routine, you won't find a better place than Ultimate Performance!

It is quite difficult to dispute the remarkable testament to the effectiveness of UP's transformative approach evident in the before/after photos on the UP website. Initially, I may have harbored some skepticism regarding my ability to achieve a similar level of transformation upon joining, but the prospect of getting close prompted me to enroll. I have always been a committed individual when I set my mind to something; however, when it came to realizing my fitness and body goals, I found myself at a loss in effectively managing all the components (workouts, cardio, diet, etc.). Ultimate Performance has truly exceeded my expectations. The structure they offer through their program, the app, and the training sessions has completely eliminated the uncertainty that has long held me back. The facilities are fantastic, and everyone on the team is exceptionally kind, helpful, and supportive. Alvin (my trainer) has been a tremendous source of motivation and support throughout my journey thus far. I am extremely pleased with my progress thus far. In roughly 10 weeks, I have shed nearly 30 pounds and have been gaining strength with noticeable progress along the way. Even at this juncture, I can confidently say that my fitness level has undergone a remarkable transformation. Undoubtedly, no transformation comes without hard work; however, the UP team and the program components genuinely offer an outstanding framework to optimize your efforts. I am eagerly looking forward to continuing my transformation with UP and wholeheartedly urge anyone contemplating it to commence theirs.

I absolutely adored my time at UP and working with my trainer Emily. The entire staff is so welcoming, and the registration process and initial interview were stress-free. Emily truly took the time to understand my objectives and has assisted me in modifying my workout routine to accommodate my past injuries. She was ideal for me, striking the balance between a laid-back approach and strong guidance to ensure I was progressing towards my goals. Should I opt for personal training in the future, I’d definitely choose Emily again.

I've been training for about a month now at UP, and I have to say it was truly the right decision. There's really no better gym or program out there than this one. My personal trainer is Ann, and she is just an amazing coach. She's so inspiring and has really helped me not only in the gym but also with discipline, overall health, and fitness. Ann keeps me updated on my progress, workouts, diet, and more on a regular basis. Since I've started, Ann has tailored a plan that aligns perfectly with my personal goals and preferences, and I must say, she was spot on because I'm already seeing results (and even better than I had expected at this point). The whole team there (especially Ann :)) is just fantastic.

My personal trainer, Emily, has been absolutely fantastic in assisting me to reach my fitness objectives and getting me back on the right path with proper nutrition. I've already shed 15 pounds in about 3 months and am able to see the outcomes. UP sets itself apart from most gyms because the trainers truly take their time to develop tailored workouts and support each member in achieving their individual goals and dietary requirements. The greatest challenge for me in my fitness journey has been staying consistent with my nutrition while traveling frequently for work, and Emily has done a remarkable job in keeping me on course. I cannot recommend UP enough!

I 'ave been goin' to Ultimate Performance at Metro Center for about two months and trainin' with Taylor. The experience 'as exceeded me expectations. With the shift to remote work durin' the pandemic, me lifestyle became very sedentary, and me weight and overall fitness took a serious hit. Although I 'ad done cardio and yoga in the past, I was 'avin trouble findin' the motivation to get back into these activities. I thought I would give strength trainin' a try as a kind of reboot, and I'm very glad that I chose Ultimate Performance to do this. Their program provides more than strength trainin'. It is a disciplined, metrics-focused, comprehensive approach to 'elpin' you reach your fitness goals both inside and outside the gym. To date, I am more than two-thirds of the way to me weight loss goal (I thought it would take a lot longer) and feelin' stronger and more energetic despite maintainin' a calorie deficit. To be clear, I am not an athlete or body builder, and I do not aspire to be. I am a middle-aged nerd with a desk job, but I believe in the importance of a 'ealthy lifestyle. Ultimate Performance is an investment of both time and money, but it is well worth it if you are committed to achievin' your fitness goals.

UP has truly gone above and beyond my expectations. Like many individuals, I've struggled to find a program that effectively balances the goals of fat loss and muscle gain. I believe I've found the solution at UP, where they provide a highly personalized strength training and nutrition program that adapts based on my progress.

Since I began training with Owen Browne, Jr. in July, I've exceeded my short-term goals and feel confident in achieving my long-term objectives. In just five weeks, Owen has helped me shed over 20 lbs, increase my work capacity, and lift heavier weights while maintaining proper form. Owen's attention to detail and guidance during our sessions is exceptional. I continuously learn something new after each session, whether it's about fitness, nutrition, or my ability to push past my limits. Not only is Owen extremely knowledgeable, he's also enjoyable to work with, making even the toughest parts of the program feel achievable.

Owen and the UP team are easily reachable outside of the gym as well. I can message Owen through the UP app with any questions, and he responds promptly. Jeff Dobos, the manager of UP's Metro Center location, is equally responsive.

I've been training at UP for a few months now and it's been a complete game changer for me, I must say. The caliber of trainers and the level of support is unmatched. The daily check-ins help me stay on track, and my trainer Jeff is an absolute pro at pushing me beyond my limits while also being super careful to tailor my workouts to prevent any injuries. He really knows his stuff and focuses on making gradual improvements.

The nutritional guidance and Jeff's attention to detail are fantastic additional benefits. The trainers will assist you in creating a personalized meal plan and even provide support with restaurant choices when you're on the go. Jeff reviews my food and exercise logs daily and gives me pointers in a friendly and supportive way.

What's really great is that the training and nutrition plans are completely sustainable. I never feel like I'm doing something that's too much to handle in the long run.

The atmosphere at the DC gym where I train is awesome and welcoming. It feels like a close-knit fitness family working together to be their best selves. Oh, and I've lost nearly 15 pounds and feel absolutely fantastic.

All trainers adeptly use metrics to monitor your progress throughout the program; this empowers you to stay on top of your advancements and leverage the data to tweak your goals as you move forward. The gym itself is well-equipped, pristine, and easy to navigate with the guidance of your trainer. Typically, you'll be working out alongside a few other coaches/clients, creating a friendly, supportive atmosphere where everyone is focused on their own session.

I've been training with Taylor and I can't speak highly enough about my journey so far. Taylor adheres to the Ultimate Performance methodology and is incredibly encouraging. In addition to the standard training regimen, he displays a clear passion for the latest evidence-based studies on health and wellness, and does an excellent job of sharing pertinent information during our sessions. I came in with a couple of injuries that I thought might hold me back, but instead, he has introduced mobility and strength exercises that have enabled me to work through those injuries while simultaneously building strength. Furthermore, he consistently dedicates time to suggest practical dietary adjustments that complement our gym workouts. His coaching style has been effective, pragmatic, and systematic, and I am thrilled with the results he has helped me attain.

If you're tired of second-guessing your weight loss and weight training journey, then U.P. is the way to go! The team of trainers are not only friendly and helpful but also extremely knowledgeable. My trainer, Alvin, was instrumental in refining my workout techniques and increasing the intensity, resulting in fast and effective results.
