Awesome parkour and Ninja Warrior gym offering classes for individuals aged 6 and above. The instructors are extremely patient and dedicated. The obstacles provide a great challenge and are a lot of fun!
Linda Martin (5/6/25, 10:13 AM):
Excellent location for practicing parkour!
Patrick Miller (5/4/25, 1:24 PM):
Fab spot for my lad to burn some energy and build strength, he's absolutely chuffed to bits running, climbing, and swinging around on the ropes and poles.
Julia Reynolds (5/2/25, 10:46 PM):
Fantastic team of instructors. I love pretending to be a ninja during open gym sessions. It's great that it's not crowded so if I happen to fall on my backside, there's no one around to witness my blunder. The instructors are always on hand to offer helpful tips when needed. One day, I aspire to reach their level of expertise. Thank you.
Jeremy Henderson (5/2/25, 10:20 AM):
APEX is absolutely top-notch in every aspect. Alan and his team are incredibly professional while also being great with both kids and parents when it comes to running the facility. The space itself is meticulously maintained and prioritizes safety above all else. There are various options available for parents while they wait, whether they prefer a quiet room to catch up on work or a prime spot to watch all the action. And speaking of action... in one word, WOW! The skills that these kids (and adults) acquire are truly impressive. This is our family's first and only introduction to parkour, and we can't envision going anywhere else. Additionally, if you're seeking an epic birthday party experience, I highly, highly recommend APEX! Our twins recently celebrated their birthday there, and they immediately requested another party. The team did an outstanding job of including all the kids so that no one felt left out.
Overall: APEX-tacular.
Thank you!
Riley Johnson (5/2/25, 4:57 AM):
As aforementioned in a previous review, the gym itself is sufficient, however, my qualms lie with the staff and the system in place. The staff treated me as though I was a bother to them. The gym operates on a skill set structure to ascertain the proficiency level of participants and which activities they are permitted to partake in based on their current band standing. My 6-year-old son, who is new to Parkour, was only engaged in very elementary skill set lessons (such as somersaults), which apparently do not suffice for progression, as we later discovered. Despite my son's eagerness to advance and his discussions about it, I continuously sent him to each class with words of encouragement to keep working diligently, follow instructions, and trust that he would progress. After months of this approach resulting in no skill set advancement, I finally mustered the courage to inquire with the staff about what was necessary to attain the next level band, as both my son and I were disheartened by his lack of progress. They seemed bothered by having to inform me about the basic moves required to progress; something called a box hang, 2 pull-ups, and another skill (whose name escapes me). I inquired if they were teaching him these skills and expressed our frustration with his stagnant development. In a rather conceited manner, I was told that it was his responsibility to learn these skills at home on his own. However, I lack the expertise to guide him in learning these skills, let alone the knowledge of how to teach them. I assumed that they were instructing him in some of these skills, but upon observing his workouts, none of these activities seemed to be part of his repetitive gym routine. My son is just 6 years old; he requires assistance and guidance. I thought that was what I was paying for, not snobbish responses that made me feel inadequate as a father. Parkour is unfamiliar to me; I have experience in baseball, soccer, tennis, and ice hockey. My son expressed interest in Parkour, so I gladly enrolled him and paid the fees for the betterment of his growth. However, I soon realized that the fees weren't providing him much beyond somersaults. I am incredibly frustrated and irritated, and I wish we had a more positive experience for my son's sake.

Oh my goodness, what a blast!!!
Jason Coleman (4/29/25, 7:26 AM):
One of the few parkour gyms in the area, Apex is a fantastic place to train at. In addition to various urban parkour-style structures, they offer an Air Trak and numerous Ninja Warrior obstacles for training purposes (translation: a lot). The staff and coaches are well-informed, and I highly recommend them, particularly for their daily open workout times. You can really maximize your training sessions here!
Mark Thompson (4/28/25, 2:11 PM):
Excellent service,
Incredibly welcoming and supportive team,
And a top-notch exercise facility.
Hats off to Thomas for facilitating our teenagers' workout session!
With so many choices available, I'm delighted that they choose to spend their time at APEX!!

I attended a children's birthday party and observed my own kids having a fantastic time. The host, Tony, did an excellent job instructing the children on rules and safety, and he kept a vigilant eye to ensure the kids were enjoying themselves and staying safe. It may seem like a nervous parent's worst nightmare, so keep in mind that some effort and athleticism are required to have fun here... An exceptional facility for this rapidly growing sport. The only drawbacks were the size of the facility and the lack of air conditioning in the main area. Not a deal-breaker for us, but it explains the 4-star rating...
Betty Lee (4/26/25, 1:44 AM):
Fantastic gym with absolutely lovely coaches!
Heather Diaz (4/24/25, 5:02 PM):
The Apex movement is a jolly good parkour studio with tall and friendly coaches who are ever so helpful.
Olivia Morales (4/24/25, 5:03 AM):
My 10-year-old has never been keen on team sports like baseball, soccer, and the like. So when he expressed interest in trying parkour, we were thrilled to support him. It's fantastic to have an alternative for kids that focuses on pushing oneself and achieving personal goals! The coaches serve as terrific role models for the kids. The gym is truly amazing and unlike anything you've ever seen before! There are plenty of areas for the coaches to split the class into small groups and rotate them through various skills. We initially tried out the 3-class intro package and then enrolled our son in a half-day summer camp. We're delighted to see him gaining strength, resilience, and confidence! While our son doesn't watch American Ninja Warrior on TV, he's watched numerous parkour videos on YouTube, so even if your kids aren't fans of the show, they might really enjoy this activity. I foresee us hosting his birthday party here. It's such a cool place that offers classes for both kids and adults, as well as open gym times. We're happy to be spending quality family time at APEX Movement Norcal!
Grace Cruz (4/20/25, 2:23 AM):
The gym is alright, but I must say I'm quite disappointed with a few of the staff members. It seems as though you're more of a bother to some of them (not all). Definitely not a great way to run a business.
Ryan Sullivan (4/17/25, 6:08 PM):
Absolutely adore coming to this place. Can't wait for it every single week.
Ralph Harris (4/17/25, 12:01 AM):
We used the groupon, it was fantastic and totally worth the drive from Vallejo. We’re definitely signing up.
Nicholas Coleman (4/14/25, 1:20 PM):
I absolutely adore coming to this place. I eagerly anticipate it every single week.
Steven Taylor (4/14/25, 12:10 AM):
My 6-year-old son absolutely adores this establishment. Everyone is fantastic, children are bouncing around energetically, and the staff is top-notch.
