Jolly good time and right around the corner! My 11-year-old and 13-year-old chaps, who typically favor YouTube and video games, have visited this place twice in a week and are quite taken with the auto-belay systems. They enjoy attempting to climb as high as possible to test their skills. Plenty of activities to keep them engaged, and it's both more affordable and healthier than going to the cinema!
Jean Lewis (6/12/25, 12:20 PM):
My lad absolutely adores this spot! This be our inaugural rock climbing adventure, and the staff were ever so kind and accommodating. We shall certainly return hither when the opportunity arises.
Judith Jones (6/12/25, 5:09 AM):
A jolly good climbing spot that ain't too commercialized, I must say. They've got bouldering on slabs and in caves, as well as full-length routes for top rope, lead, and auto belay. The setting is quite daring and imaginative, and the grades are spot on. It might be a tad challenging for novice climbers, but there's something fun for everyone to enjoy, indeed. Cheers!
Grace Jones (6/11/25, 8:00 PM):
Rock climbing was an absolute blast! If you're into staying fit, this place is top-notch. Climbers of all ages can have a grand old time here. Just a heads up, there was some ongoing construction which made things a tad messy.
Brenda Anderson (6/11/25, 11:30 AM):
I took my two granddaughters, aged 9 and 11, for a grand time at the rock climbing gym. We purchased an all-day pass, but had to leave at noon for lunch before returning. The day could have been even better if it weren't for the renovations that had part of the gym closed off.
Jason Jordan (6/11/25, 3:42 AM):
Absolutely adore this spot. The staff is so welcoming, and the climbing is top-notch.
Ann Lee (6/9/25, 8:13 PM):
Our wee ones were in the Little Peebles class. They kept canceling the class without a word and didn't bother to set new dates. We weren't informed that we could use the gym outwith class hours, which we could, and the instructors were openly dissing the class and the boss, Steph Claddock, calling her a rubbish manager who does a lousy job of running the gym.

I rang up 5 times to have a natter with Steph, but she was never around, yet she magically managed to reply to every email within a few minutes.

Quite an interesting way to run a business, I must say. Won't be returning with the fam.
Andrew Carter (6/9/25, 5:53 PM):
Had a jolly good time. Must pick up the ropes all on your lonesome though. Nonetheless, a smashing experience. Sprightly climbers aplenty. Cheers!
Stephen Perez (6/9/25, 11:02 AM):
Pricey for a day pass as a 23-year-old with student debt, but the new bouldering area and Kilterboard are absolutely brilliant.
Carol Baker (6/9/25, 5:16 AM):
A jolly activity for both the young 'uns and the grown-ups alike. Adequate parking facilities to boot. I reckon it deserves a solid 4 stars, although the scent of feet permeates the whole joint. But once you've acclimatized yourself, that odor fades into the background. Cheers!
Jeffrey Mitchell (6/8/25, 10:05 PM):
I 'ad a jolly good time, definitely would come back again. The folks were so friendly! Cheers!
Teresa Perez (6/8/25, 9:49 PM):
It's a decent climbing gym with okay routes and auto belays. However, it's a tad on the small side and tends to get quite crowded.
Nathan Parker (6/8/25, 6:05 PM):
Loads of room with heaps of top-notch routes! I’m a novice and there were plenty of routes to have a go at from B-2. The team was pleasant and supportive, gear was in tip-top condition, and the spot was spick and span. Auto belay and loads of bouldering routes. Absolutely buzzing to return!
Paul Bennett (6/7/25, 8:55 AM):
I absolutely adore Metro! Such a fantastic spot, with the friendliest folks and top-notch route setting. The cleanliness and upkeep are impeccable.
Alice Kim (6/6/25, 8:12 PM):
Fantastic prices, enjoyable boulder routes to climb!
Rachel Stewart (6/3/25, 7:30 AM):
A jolly good wee gym, this one. Top-notch texture on the holds, a splendid selection of various grades, some truly enjoyable and dynamic walls (which take my fancy), and a cracking team. Plenty of autobelays to go around. This is a fascinating and enjoyable spot to do some climbing, with loads of easier grades and some delightful overhangs that offer a proper challenge and sense of accomplishment. Well worth popping in for a visit. Cheers!
Bobby Watson (6/1/25, 10:19 PM):
Had a jolly good time! Took me 7-year-old lad and he was absolutely chuffed. We've never done any climbing before, so we were as green as they come in this sport. The staff were ever so friendly and took the time to explain the ins and outs of everything. We kicked things off in the bouldering area, where the lad scaled them 10-12 feet walls without a harness. After that, we gave the auto belay a go, and he mustered up the courage to give it a whirl. Good on him!
Stephanie Jordan (5/30/25, 5:55 PM):
Came across this spot by chance, and my 10 and 7-year-old sons absolutely loved it! They had an absolute blast trying out the diverse range of climbing grades available. Such a fun experience for the whole family!
Randy Rodriguez (5/26/25, 9:19 PM):
This climbing gym is absolutely fantastic! I've visited three others in New Hampshire a few times, and I must say, this one surpasses them all. The routes are each marked with color-coded holds, which is far superior to other gyms that use hard-to-see tape. Tape tends to fall off and becomes impossible to spot once you're up on the wall. With the color-coding system here, you always know where you should be headed, saving you energy and the frustration of getting stuck trying to locate the right hold. It eliminates the need for a spotter below constantly guiding you on which holds to use for a specific route.
There's a wide range of difficulty levels on the climbing walls, various inclines, and this gym boasts the largest bouldering area I've come across compared to the 4-5 other climbing gyms I've visited.
The bathrooms feature medium-sized lockers to secure your belongings, even though hardly anyone seems to use them, and the facility is exceptionally clean.
I will definitely be returning, despite it being the farthest distance from my home.
Betty Kim (5/25/25, 1:06 PM):
