I've started utilizing their childcare services, which are top-notch - the staff is friendly and great with my little one. The gym is conveniently located near the Vista area, and while it may be on the smaller side, it operates 24 hours. It offers a variety of equipment including cable machines, free weights, and a back room that is currently being expanded to include squat racks, a deadlift platform, and additional machines. In essence, it can be likened to a home-style gym, just with more space. The service manager, "Austin," is highly personable and extends a warm welcome to all members, whether they are newbies or experienced gym-goers. I am eagerly looking forward to witnessing their expansion and what lies ahead in the future.

Aye, what a tidy and well-ordered gym! The vibes in here are top-notch!! I used to be a member here and recently came back to Boise, this spot just keeps getting more ace! Madi, who holds down the front desk, swiftly got me sorted and onto my workout grind, and has been naught but friendly and motivating. I surely suggest giving this place a go!!

I 'ave been goin' to Johnny’s Fitness Club for the past 4 years, and 'ave been treated very well. I remember one year I 'ad to freeze me account for 6 months due to a family issue. Johnny was very 'appy to do what 'e could to help me out. Me account was frozen for 6 months and 'e still let me come in and workout with me Boot Camp Buddies and 'ave one on one with a PT free of charge. When I joined Johnny’s, 'e only 'ad one Gym at Corporal and later was able to expand to a 2nd Gym at Apple. When it was time to close the Corporal Gym, Johnny gave the Corporal members 6 months free of charge to come to the Apple gym. If anyfing Johnny 'as been very generous.
The gym overall is better suited for someone who 'as an idea of what they're lookin' for. When you join a Boot Camp it’s not supposed to be easy, it’s for the person that wants a 'ard core workout (That is why it’s called Boot Camp). As for one on one, you want a trainer to push you from your comfort zone to get you the best results (at least I do). In me experience all the trainers are willin' to work with you. I just recently 'ad an accident, fallin' off me Mt. Bike and separatin' me AC joint. I still am goin' to BC and the trainer will modify the workout for me so I am can still get the same results the other BC members are gettin'. When I work with a PT they always ask me lots of questions before we start trainin', I feel they really want to 'elp you reach your goal.
I am a 50 year old member and I didn’t join the Club to lose weight fast, I joined for me to get stronger and healthier and if I lose weight along the way that is great (by the way I 'ave lost weight and I 'ope to lose more). I am truly 'appy with Johnny’s Fitness Club and I will continue to go and recommend to others. Good work Johnny!!!!

No wonder employees and customers are leaving so quickly!!! I terminated my membership at this gym 3 months ago and they still haven't closed my account!! As if that weren't enough, they slapped me with a $39 cancellation fee and the manager didn't even cancel my account!! I should be refunded for this fee considering I'm the only one actually doing any work around there. I personally went to the facility, cancelled my account AGAIN, and it's taken them over 2 weeks to reimburse me the money they took from my account without my consent. Still waiting on my refund, Johnny. So happy I switched back to Axiom!!

I was on the hunt for a gym, and after visiting several places in town, I was feeling quite frustrated with the high prices and staff who seemed more focused on selling memberships than addressing my questions and concerns. The last gym I visited, Jhonny's Fit Club on Vista Austin, gave my friend and me a tour, answered all my questions, and went above and beyond. What really impressed me about Jhonny and his team was their genuine concern and care for you and your needs - they truly listened. I didn't feel like just another membership, I felt like a person. I was completely sold and signed up today! I can't wait to begin my journey to improved health. The cleanliness standards at this place are impressive, and it doesn't have that typical gym smell, just clean and fresh. Thank you, Austin!

This gym isn't up to par. I wouldn't even give it a single star, but Google requires at least one to leave a review. The locations in Boise, Idaho: They have outdated equipment, too many people squeezed into a tiny space with no room to exercise. I've been paying month by month for the last 2 years, I've only actually used the gym around 20 times in that period, and now that I want to end my membership, they're telling me there's a $30.00 cancellation fee for BOTH me and my husband! What a farce... not at all impressed!

I am not at all impressed with Johnny's FitClub. I'm only leaving this review because they have these little signs all over the gym asking members to leave reviews on Google.
The gym is way too crowded with equipment. I constantly find myself tripping over one machine while trying to use another.
It's clear that whoever bought the equipment doesn't really understand how the human body moves and what the best training methods are. For example, they have two machines for chest exercises, one for shoulders, and one for back. There should be an equal number of pushing and pulling machines, so they're missing two machines for the upper back.
The selection of selectorized machines is just as unbalanced.
A lot of the equipment is in terrible condition and poorly maintained. For instance, both of the portable flat benches are wobbly because some screws are missing.
But the worst part, especially during this pandemic, is the lack of cleanliness. I highly doubt any of the equipment has been properly cleaned by staff since April, based on the dates marked on them. There's been dirt on some machines since I joined two months ago. The bathrooms are consistently dirty and the floor is always in need of a vacuum.
Some members do wipe down equipment, but many don't. I think more people would clean up after themselves if the gym kept the towel baskets stocked - which they don't.
I've already canceled my membership.
I received an email saying they will be moving to a new, cleaner facility with new equipment. But I have my doubts that it will stay clean and new for long, given the apparent lack of pride shown by the employees.

After forking over a hefty sum of money with them (including pricey personal training sessions that went unused due to starting a job that clashed with the Gym's schedule), the sole way they offer for cancellation in case life takes a turn is to show up in person and put your John Hancock on a form. Then they hit you with the yearly fee that hasn't even come into play yet, along with an extra month's worth of dues. I certainly hope that the extra $35 and my wasted time and gas will be worth it because you've forever lost a potential customer. When I voiced my frustration, the lady at the front desk was quite rude, stating that I had signed an agreement. Yes, she's correct - I did sign a lengthy contract with tons of fine print three years ago, and yes, they have every legal right to charge me more money, but is that a solid business strategy and good customer service?
