She excels at motivating and encouraging you to reach your full potential without ever diminishing your efforts. Her primary focus is on helping you build strength, and she is highly adaptable to individual needs. When I informed Nancy of my pregnancy, she took the initiative to research exercises suitable for pregnant women and postpartum bodies. She is incredibly considerate and committed to empowering you to become the best version of yourself. I cannot praise her enough - having worked with trainers in various gyms across different states, Nancy remains the only consistent choice for me. She is simply exceptional at what she does.

I've been training with Nancy and her team (Glen, Andrea, Damien) for about 10 months now, and my only regret is not starting sooner. My goal was to lose fat sustainably and incorporate strength training into my daily routine. I began the program with 35% body fat and have since reduced it to 24%, lost 23 pounds of fat while maintaining muscle mass, already hitting my target. As someone who has long been dissatisfied with body measurements, it's safe to say this is a huge confidence boost. Looking back, all I've done is follow the guidance and stick to the plan, but there are a few things I particularly value:

- I appreciate how Nancy started the program with detailed questions about my goals, diet, and lifestyle to ensure alignment with the program. She broke down the goals into actionable items and made everything easy to follow. All progress, both in and outside of the training, is properly journaled and tracked.

- The semi-private setting is perfect for me. I like the balance of individualized programs and a sense of community. I feel a lot more motivated to exercise knowing that I can simply walk into the gym, tackle the assigned workout, mingle a bit, and wrap up.

- The program is adaptive and challenging, in a good way. The team actively listens and adjusts to my needs. During the sessions, they pay close attention to ensure everyone maintains the correct posture and uses the right muscles for maximum effectiveness.

Overall, I think this is a professional, passionate, and smart team who truly care about your well-being, and I can't recommend it enough.

Uplift is absolutely brilliant! After the chaos of COVID-19, I found myself in a bit of a funk with my gym membership expired. I would sporadically exercise, but lacked the drive and consistency. Nancy put together a tailored workout plan for me and offered guidance on nutrition too. It's been roughly five months now. Working out with weights three times per week and adopting a more sensible diet have produced fantastic results: I've shed some weight, decreased body fat, and gained muscle. But more importantly, I feel amazing, sleep better, and feel less stressed.

I genuinely look forward to my workouts. They are personalized and push you to your limits without being overwhelming. Every rep is recorded, allowing you to track and witness your progress over time – truly motivating stuff. With a maximum of five individuals per training session, Nancy and/or Glen are always on hand to ensure proper form. Additionally, they have an app that makes scheduling super easy (perfect for when you're traveling or need to switch sessions). The community is fantastic – people at various stages of their fitness journey all come together in a supportive, positive environment. I cannot speak highly enough of Uplift!

I signed up at Uplift in September 2022. My initial intention was to just be a member until I felt confident enough to lift on my own, but I ended up staying for much longer because of my admiration for the trainers. Despite moving to a new apartment with a longer journey to the gym, I have remained loyal to Uplift instead of seeking a closer alternative because I can't envision exercising with any other group. Glen and Nancy establish an incredibly encouraging and upbeat atmosphere, and the rest of the members are all amiable and enjoyable individuals.

I arrived at Uplift after experiencing issues with my previous personal trainer, with whom I had been training one-on-one for a year. There were several problems, especially in terms of professionalism, such as lack of organization (scheduling was confusing, sessions would be cancelled last minute, and it was difficult to maintain a consistent training routine) and lack of transparency (I never received any progress reports).

Nancy is incredibly calm, supportive, and provides helpful feedback on technique.

The studio is cozy, with customized routines for each individual and their own designated space. With only 5 spaces in total, you never feel crowded yet still enjoy a sense of community.

There is complete transparency, and tracking progress and scheduling is easy, as everything is digitized! Regular scans show progress in terms of weight, muscle mass, fat loss, etc.

The trainers (I mainly work with Damien) are supportive, explain things thoroughly, and help adapt exercises or keep motivation high.

The space is impeccably clean, welcoming, and offers a variety of equipment.

The community that has formed here has a friendly and supportive atmosphere, making this fitness center truly stand out.

In just the first 5 weeks, I've achieved better and faster results for less money than I did in a whole year with my previous personal trainer.

Undoubtedly, this is the best (and most cost-effective) investment I've made!

I've had the pleasure of working with a handful of personal trainers, and I must say that Nancy stands out as the most informed coach I've encountered. She's incredibly attentive, tailoring your workout plan according to your specific requirements and objectives. When I mentioned my knee discomfort stemming from a previous ACL injury, she attentively listened and adapted my exercises to help strengthen it. Nancy consistently motivates and encourages you in a positive and constructive manner, pushing you to reach your fitness goals. Personally, I've always been averse to gyms throughout my life. I struggled to maintain interest in exercise due to boredom and lack of discipline. Despite having gym memberships in the past, I consistently lost motivation and wasted money.

My fitness level wasn't where I wanted it to be before COVID, and the situation worsened during the pandemic. After discussions with my wife, we decided to give personal training a try. Although initially hesitant, I eventually committed to the program after witnessing the dedication and care provided by Nancy and her team.

I am so chuffed that I joined Uplift! One of my absolute favorite things about Uplift is that the workouts are tailored specifically to you and your fitness goals. Damien and Nancy are always checking in to ensure that I am staying on track and progressing towards my goals. It's wonderful to have people who genuinely care about my success just as much as I do!

I really love the group personal training sessions because they have just the right balance - large enough to feel part of a community (maximum 5 people), yet small enough to receive individual attention on my form and technique.
