Exploring the Ahwatukee Foot & Ankle Center: Accessibility and Patient Experience

The Ahwatukee Foot & Ankle Center, located in Phoenix, Arizona, offers comprehensive foot care services in a welcoming environment. One significant advantage of this facility is its wheelchair-accessible entrance and wheelchair-accessible car park, ensuring that patients with mobility challenges can easily access the care they need.

Accessibility Features

Accessibility is vital for healthcare facilities, and Ahwatukee Foot & Ankle Center prioritizes it. The wheelchair-accessible entrance allows individuals with mobility issues to enter comfortably, while their wheelchair-accessible car park ensures convenient parking nearby. These features make it easier for patients to focus on their health without the added stress of navigating accessibility challenges.

Patient Experiences and Concerns

While many patients express satisfaction with the medical care provided at the center, some concerns have been raised regarding the billing practices. For instance, a patient noted frustrations with unexpected charges, stating, “I paid over $8,000 WITH INSURANCE after all was said and done for a broken foot surgery.” Such comments highlight the importance of clear communication around costs prior to treatment. On the other hand, many patients commend the physicians, particularly Dr. Beecroft and Dr. Crezee, for their compassionate care and expertise. A patient shared, “Dr. Beecroft was very easy to talk to and extremely patient with answering all of my concerns. I really felt he cared.” Testimonials like these suggest that while billing may pose challenges, the quality of medical attention remains high.

The Importance of Clear Communication

Several reviews emphasize the need for better communication from the front desk staff regarding insurance and billing. One patient remarked, “It felt like they thought I was either going to get treatment and dash without paying the bill or maybe that I couldn't afford treatment.” This sentiment highlights the importance of fostering a supportive environment where patients feel respected and informed about their treatment options and associated costs.

Quality of Care

The center is praised for the quality of care provided by its medical team. Patients frequently mention the thoroughness and patience exhibited by doctors. As one review stated, “Dr. Beecroft took my pain seriously and did the needed surgery. Would definitely recommend Ahwatukee Foot and Ankle.” This highlights a consistency in quality care, especially for those requiring surgical intervention or ongoing treatment.

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, the Ahwatukee Foot & Ankle Center stands out for its commitment to accessibility and quality foot care. While billing issues are a point of concern for some patients, the overall positive feedback about the medical staff indicates a strong focus on patient well-being. The wheelchair-accessible entrance and wheelchair-accessible car park further enhance the center's ability to serve a diverse patient population, making it a noteworthy choice for foot care in Phoenix, Arizona.

Extremely helpful from the get-go, sorted out my health insurance for me and provided top-notch care during my visit. The staff is incredibly friendly.
Dorothy Green (6/15/25, 7:48 PM):
I must say, Dr. Crezee is an absolute gem! He sorted out a nasty pain in the ball of my left foot several years back, and it's never come back since. The chap even did surgery on a troublesome "hammer toe" that had kept me from wearing any decent footwear for yonks. What's more, his team helped my old man by keeping his toenails neat as a pin during the final 4 years of his life, always treating him with the utmost respect. Dr. Crezee and his crew are top-notch professionals, no doubt about it.
Kathryn Mitchell (6/11/25, 5:35 PM):
The doctor was absolutely brilliant. However, I must say the front desk staff left something to be desired. I've never had such an extensive discussion about my insurance benefits beyond just the copay. It almost seemed as though they were concerned I might receive treatment and try to avoid payment, or perhaps they doubted my ability to afford treatment despite having excellent insurance coverage. Nonetheless, the doctor more than compensated for my initial unease. He was incredibly patient, well-informed, and addressed all my queries thoroughly. I would certainly recommend him without hesitation.
Joseph Gomez (6/10/25, 6:08 PM):
Dr Stewart and his team were spot on with the appointment timing, he laid out the options for my bilateral neuromas and addressed all my queries. Definitely a trek worth making, I regret not booking my appointment sooner.
Christopher Evans (6/10/25, 3:38 AM):
The office was lovely, with friendly people and Dr. Crezee who was very kind and skilled in his trade.
Charles Flores (6/6/25, 7:49 PM):

I couldn't have asked for a better podiatrist! Fantastic sense of humor! Dr. Richardson is simply top-notch!
Robert Gonzales (6/2/25, 8:27 AM):
Dr. Creze and 'is staff are absolutely brilliant, friendly, and top-notch 'ealthcare providers. I'd highly recommend them to anyone in need of foot or ankle care.
Samuel Ward (5/30/25, 8:57 PM):
This was my first encounter with the doctor, and it was quite pleasant. They appeared to be very knowledgeable and took the time to discuss my concerns regarding my feet. We also had a conversation about how my feet may be affected in the future due to neuropathy and ulcers.
Michael Lee (5/28/25, 11:22 AM):
I have been a patient at this establishment since January 2022. Dr. Beecroft is a kind and knowledgeable professional who takes the time to converse with and listen to you. Sadly, the front desk and staff exhibit rudeness and lack of professionalism. I had encounters with them solely because Dr. Beecroft is an excellent physician whom I highly recommend. Yet, whenever I tried to schedule an appointment, the office staff was discourteous, even hanging up on me on several occasions. It is unfortunate that these individuals are tarnishing Dr. Beecroft's reputation. I hope they will one day learn how to treat patients with dignity and respect. Regrettably, I was compelled to seek out another doctor due to my experiences with the office staff and front desk.
Brenda Martin (5/28/25, 9:59 AM):
Dr. Crezee informed my spouse that her foot pain was neuropathy and advised her to "get moving more". Following a couple of weeks of significantly increasing her activity levels, my spouse can hardly walk now. Her condition has worsened considerably.
If he's not willing to conduct thorough diagnostic tests, he should refrain from pretending to be a doctor and perhaps consider a career in burger flipping instead. This was an absolutely dreadful experience.
Edit: A second medical opinion revealed the presence of masses in her foot that required surgical removal.
Stephanie Morgan (5/25/25, 9:21 AM):
Absolutely brilliant! I did have to hang about a bit for my referral to come through, but it was well worth the wait once I finally saw Dr. Beecroft. I'll definitely be returning! #
John Powell (5/23/25, 10:51 PM):
Update: I saw Beecroft today. He was absolutely brilliant! Incredibly caring, attentive, and fantastic at finding a solution.

Working with Alex Stewart has been a pleasure. He is extremely kind, knowledgeable, and takes the time to carefully devise an effective approach to resolving the issue.
Judy Sullivan (5/23/25, 1:45 AM):
Dr. Stewart is a true professional with a personal touch. I am so grateful for the exceptional care I received from the staff. Sending blessings to the entire team.
Ava Clark (5/20/25, 4:28 AM):
The doctor and all the staff were ever so friendly and knowledgeable.
Amanda Thomas (5/17/25, 8:03 AM):
I've been a patient at the Ahwatukee Foothills and Ankle Center since 1999. I tend to be quite rough on my feet with all the hiking, mountain biking, sports, and intense activity I do. Dr. Crazee and his team consistently work their magic to keep me going. I can't speak highly enough about the Ahwatukee Foothills and Ankle Center – they truly are top-notch!
Nancy Lopez (5/17/25, 2:17 AM):
I 'ave been visitin' Ahwatukee Foot and Ankle for a serious lisfranc injury - an injury that can become a lifelong problem if not identified accurately and treated early. Dr. Crezee provided the prognosis immediately and 'as been treatin' it brilliantly throughout the recovery process. The entire practice is patient-focused, kind, attentive, and personable. From Dr. Crezee to the office manager, Cathy, you couldn't ask for a better team. Cathy goes out of 'er way to make sure you are aware of yer insurance options/payments and even squeezed me into a busy schedule when she found that I was distressed when I thought I 'ad re-injured my foot. I cannot say enough good things about this office staff and Dr. Crezee. I would recommend them to any/everyone lookin' for an incredibly talented and kind Physician and carin' office staff!
Joseph Foster (5/15/25, 6:09 PM):
I recently visited for a minor tendon sprain. They swiftly performed an ultrasound to assess the injury and then applied a plaster cast for stabilization and healing. All diagnostic tests were efficiently conducted during my single office visit.
Deborah Carter (5/15/25, 8:54 AM):
If I could rate this place 10 stars, I totally would. The team is just so cheerful and lovely, and Dr. Molin's care is top-notch. It was a bit of a trek to get there, but I can't imagine going through it with anyone else!! Big thanks for having such a fantastic team!!! By the way, the Christmas decorations and festive vibes were just superb!!!!
Janice Coleman (5/15/25, 3:43 AM):
Dr. Beecroft is a truly caring professional. The office staff is incredibly professional and helpful. I feel like I am in excellent hands here.
