I was only able to train with Brad for a short month before an accident and subsequent surgery put me on a lengthy rehab journey. However, I am truly grateful for the four weeks of establishing a strong mind-body connection during that time. Learning how to engage my core and glutes has significantly aided in my hamstring recovery process. Even walking on crutches with a hip-to-thigh brace wasn't as dreadful as it could have been. In a previous experience with crutches a few years back, I suffered from severe lower back pain due to improper muscle engagement. This time around, thanks to Brad's guidance, I have been able to avoid those issues. I am eagerly awaiting the moment when I am cleared for more intense activities and strength training so I can return to the gym.
