The most dreadful experience at the gym, mate! The custodians are hitting the weights instead of tidying up, and when you fancy a sauna sesh post-workout, they suddenly decide it's time to do their job after having all day to clean. What kind of gig lets you just work out and clean whenever? And don't get me started on that bloke's attitude - pure hell! It's the same custodian who does the midnight clean on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, can you believe it?

If not, how can you anticipate that individuals who bring their personal equipment will adhere to them? Additionally, are there any safeguards in place to prevent individuals from being recorded without their permission?
If not, my previous statement remains valid; if you feel uneasy about being captured on camera while striving to improve your fitness (which I assume most people are), it may be best to steer clear of this gym. Seek out one that prioritizes its members over social media promotion.

The equipment is top-notch and the facilities are great. However, I did have a less than pleasant experience with some of the staff during my visit. There was an incident where another gym member was being disruptive and confrontational towards me while I was trying to work out, even monopolizing multiple benches at once. When I sought assistance from a staff member, they appeared disinterested and not fully attentive, which was disappointing. This was not an isolated incident, as I have noticed similar unprofessional behavior from the staff before. It's concerning to witness this kind of conduct being tolerated by both members and employees of the gym. Despite this, my usual early morning visits are peaceful and quiet, except for this particular incident. Hopefully, the staff can address the issues with the disruptive member and uphold a more welcoming environment for all patrons.

I have been attempting to cancel my membership for the past month, and despite speaking in person, over the phone, and even with a manager, the issue remains unresolved. It appears that there is a lack of clarity on the cancellation process among the staff, which has been quite frustrating. My sole objective is to terminate my membership, yet the recurring monthly charges persist despite assurances of cancellation. As of July 31st, after another unsuccessful call (resulting in an additional $69 charge), I find myself exasperated. I will provide an update if further charges are incurred.

I must share my disappointing encounter with the Kids Club staff, specifically Nancy, at Crunch in Chatsworth. This lady consistently exhibits unprofessional behavior, causing discomfort for parents like myself. She seems to go out of her way to question our presence, almost as if to avoid supervising our children. This conduct appears discriminatory, and her interactions come across as borderline racist.
Moreover, when my children were occasionally permitted to enter, Nancy made inappropriate remarks about their appearance, suggesting they don't match their ages and commenting on their size. Such comments are not only impolite but also needless, especially when all we seek is a secure and inviting environment for our little ones while we attend to our workouts.
Crunch should certainly reassess their choice of personnel for the Kids Club. Parents merit better treatment than this discerning and inhospitable demeanor.

The tanning area seems to be out of commission, the showers appear to be consistently unkempt and antiquated, and the individual responsible for cleaning during the evening shift displays a lack of courtesy. Even though this gym is larger in size, it's not surprising that they have fewer stars compared to other nearby Crunch locations.
I had a dishonest experience with them where they altered my entire contract without my consent, including removing my guest privileges and deducting 6 months from my "new contract".
If you're considering renewing your contract, I recommend going to Van Nuys. They thoroughly reviewed my past contracts, understood my concerns, and rectified the situation. Chatsworth completely changed my contract, but Van Nuys managed to restore my original terms. 🙌

I was absolutely gobsmacked when I saw unauthorized charges on my credit card from this gym! They assured me they would refund my dosh over three months ago, but still no sign of it. The gaffer is never around, despite me leaving heaps of messages, not a peep back. If you're thinking of using your credit card here, be on your guard. Their customer service is absolute rubbish. I reckon it's time to find meself a new gym.

I must say, the staff at this gym is absolutely dreadful. Always chit-chatting and munching away on the job. Lockers are being pilfered left and right, and don't get me started on the homeless individuals sneaking in for showers. It's not only unnerving but also a major safety issue, especially with men wandering into the women's changing area. I simply couldn't feel secure there, so I made the switch to 24 Hour Fitness.

Lovely gym with top-notch equipment. It's got all I require for various workouts! I heard that in the past, it was a powerlifting gym before joining the Crunch franchise. Some equipment is a bit older, but still very functional.
There's a spacious main area with cardio machines, free weights, cables, weight machines, and more, plus a few other rooms for those who prefer a quieter workout space.
The locker rooms even come with their own sauna (at least the men's does).
