I must say, it's absolutely fabulous to come and workout at this gym. The atmosphere is so motivating and truly boosts my energy levels. The workout sessions are just spot on for challenging yourself at your own rhythm and achieving your desired goals. I also find the cooldown stretches to be quite valuable, as they are not something I would typically incorporate into my routine on my own.

The music is decent. The instructors tend to take a somewhat laid-back approach. Every now and then they might offer a little guidance, but it's not a frequent occurrence. This gym is ideal for those with some previous boot camp experience.

I've been attending this gym for more than a year now, and I must say, it's been the best choice I've ever made, mate. The gym is proper spacious, tidy, and decked out with a range of machines and classes to cater to every fitness level. The staff are top-notch, friendly, and proper professional. But then, lo and behold, SOLDIERFIT reached out to me and offered a complimentary class. Let me tell you, it was a game-changer. The crew there is top-notch, always lifting you up and pushing you to be your best self. They check in regularly to ensure you're on track and having a great experience. I must say, I am absolutely thrilled to share my experience training under the guidance of Kentrell Johnson at our dynamic fitness center, SoldierFit. Kentrell is truly dedicated to ensuring that all of his students reap the full benefits of the meticulously designed workout routines he prepares for us.
Let me first paint a picture of how our group convenes. A good number of us are proud subscribers of SoldierFit in Columbia, Maryland. The spirited warriors with whom I break a sweat regularly belong to the early-bird 5:30 am crew. Our workout setting boasts an expansive indoor exercise area, well-chosen fitness machines, free weights, and even an outdoor lot nestled within an industrial park.
Kentrell Johnson arrives bright and early each morning armed with plans for at least six invigorating exercises targeting the upper body, core, lower body, and overall stability. These routines veer away from the run-of-the-mill push-ups, jumping squats, or sit-ups typically associated with CrossFit-style workouts. Instead, Kentrell cleverly utilizes the gym's array of equipment to concoct exercises that challenge his students before swiftly transitioning to the next station. And that's not all - in between stations, Kentrell injects added motivation with activities like five rapid sprawls, a quick sprint to the stop sign and back, or even some duck walks across the gym floor while clutching a medicine ball.
As we tackle each exercise, Kentrell is ever vigilant, providing constant supervision to ensure that we execute movements safely, with proper form, stability, and balance. Moreover, he keenly observes the individual performance levels of his students, always ready with alternative exercises if needed.
After completing two robust circuits, Kentrell often introduces an engaging "family time" exercise to cap off the session. Family time involves a group exercise drill that brings all participants together. It could be anything from high-intensity sprints, a circuit involving exercises at each corner of the gym, a fun game of tic-tac-toe while sprinting, or a musical interlude where we relate specific bodyweight exercises to the rhythm of a popular tune.
Each of us has our unique motivations and fitness aspirations when we step foot in the gym. I consider myself truly fortunate to have crossed paths with Kentrell Johnson and the other dedicated members of SoldierFit at this phase of my fitness journey.

As someone who is endeavoring to return to the gym routine postpartum, this fitness center has been an absolute godsend. The workouts are challenging and really push you to your limits, which I find invigorating. They offer modifications for beginners, catering to all levels. The instructors are all fantastic, but Stephanie and Mary truly stand out with their energy and guidance during classes. They emphasize the importance of proper form over quantity and take the time to ensure you're doing exercises correctly. Moreover, the gym owner is extremely kind and readily available to answer any questions I have via text, which I deeply appreciate. While the prices may be a tad steep, I firmly believe it's well worth the investment!

I 'ad a bloody good experience with them, mate. My trainer kept in touch and I could crack on with me workouts using the videos they gave me. Brilliant, innit?
