I 'ad a splendid experience with everyone at OTF. They were truly kind, answered all me questions, and I simply adore the energy and atmosphere of the workouts. Cheers!
We absolutely loved the OT workout during the 1.5 months we've been members. However, when my workout buddy's rowing machine malfunctioned and he went careening into the glass wall behind him, injuring his head and neck, we made the decision to terminate our membership. How can we trust that another piece of equipment won't fail and lead to a more severe injury? OT failed to handle the situation appropriately. They didn't volunteer to cover my partner's visit to urgent care. They didn't even propose a discounted month of membership. Moreover, they are insisting we fulfill our contract for another 30 days of workouts we won't be able to do. Quite disappointing.
Terrible customer service, good luck trying to cancel!! I am physically unable to work out there after my first workout resulted in terrible pain that messed up my neck and required multiple visits to the chiropractor. Just keep in mind it's really unlike me to leave a negative review and as I read this back, I'm sort of making fun of myself - oh, your neck hurt, really? No. Really. I had to get X-rays, it was that bad. Just to clarify, this isn't what I'm complaining about!
So, I decided to pause my membership to see if the pain improved, but then to make matters worse, I got the flu, then strep, and then I was traveling... long story short, working out just wasn't an option for me until I could get healthy and sort out my neck. They were understanding about pausing my membership, which was fine, I appreciated them being flexible.
Another month passed and I was still unwell and in pain, so I thought okay, I need to admit I can't do this and cancel it.
Seems simple enough, right??
I've never written a negative review about a business before and I'm so angry right now. You'd think a simple email or phone call would be enough to cancel your membership in 2017.
Nope. They want you to come in... seriously? Why? So they can try to convince me how great it is when I've already contacted them multiple times to cancel???
You can't cancel over the phone or through email? You want me to waste my time fighting traffic on Eagle Road? When would that even be? During my lunch break, which is the only time I'm free and the only time it wouldn't be an hour round trip?
No way.
Even when I do have time for a lunch break, I'm still going to the chiropractor to fix my neck 6 months later. Cancel my membership at once and refund me for the 6 months of service that I've been repeatedly trying to cancel!!! What kind of customer service is this??
Honestly??!
I don’t even have to think about planning my workout, I just turn up! It’s like having a personal trainer, but there are 20 other people working hard alongside me. The staff and coaches are absolutely brilliant!
When I joined Orangetheory on Mother's Day in 2017, I was a size 24 at 227 pounds. I never imagined that I would be capable of completing the benchmarks, tornadoes, run rows, oh my goodness, sit-ups.. It's incredible how consistency and dedication can make a difference in your life. I am now a size 14 and still progressing on my fitness journey. Karen F
I do fancy the fact that every workout is already scheduled out and all I have to do is turn up and put in the effort for 60-90 minutes. I used to find ways to talk myself out of hitting the gym because I lacked a plan. But that's a thing of the past now! The immediate feedback from the heart monitor is quite appealing as well. It's rather motivating to have specific goals every month to gauge my progress since day one.
This was my 2nd time in two years trying OTF and I love how it is upbeat, encouraging, challenging, and enjoyable! The Staff was very pleasant. Parker was my coach and he was very supportive and made sure that before I left I was happy and fully understood my scores/results. I Signed up for a membership and plan to continue my fitness needs with OTF.
I absolutely adore this gym! Every workout is a unique experience, and I always leave feeling like I've had an incredible session!
The workouts always be different, mate. They push me to try new things I wouldn't normally do, the tunes are bangin', the coaches are proper supportive (just enough, not in your face, very friendly but still keepin' you on track) and the team is dead chuffed and ready to lend a hand!
I was really motivated by the instructor and the way they conducted the workout. I felt fantastic afterwards and very accomplished!
I fancy how it's always changing, working out my whole body. It's lovely that I don't have to come up with a new workout by myself. I just show up and it's all set up for me. Everyone is really pleasant, from the staff and trainers to fellow gym-goers. The trainers are always cheerful and friendly. Hands down, this is the best workout setting I've ever experienced.
I absolutely adore the energetic tunes and the instructors, particularly Parker. He really knows how to keep you pumped up. Extremely pleased with this fitness session.
The trainers 'ave loads of enthusiasm and passion, and the workouts are proper intense. I knew right away that this 'ere workout class would 'elp me reach me goals.
I absolutely adore the Meridian location and staff, but lately it seems like the studio is constantly trying to squeeze every penny out of you. It leaves a rather unpleasant feeling when you're shelling out $189 a month to attend classes there, but if you happen to forget your heart monitor and need to borrow one, they'll slap you with a charge. If your little one suddenly falls ill in the middle of the night and you can't make it to class, they'll still charge you. School closed due to snow? Charge. Suffering from food poisoning? Charge. I get it from a business standpoint, charging for missed classes if there's a waitlist or the class is full makes sense. But if only 6 brave souls show up on treacherous roads, they'll still hit you with an extra $12 on top of the $189 monthly fee. Seems a tad excessive to me, if I'm being honest.
I absolutely ENJOYED the sensation of overall soreness in my body after a vigorous workout. I have never experienced that feeling post-workout before! MANY THANKS!!!!
I absolutely adored everything about my experience! The level of detail they delved into regarding the concept behind their workouts and heart rate monitors before the class allowed me to truly concentrate on maintaining my heart rate within the Orange zone. Initially, I felt a bit overwhelmed by the variety of workouts, but the instructor quickly put me at ease and was simply INCREDIBLE, constantly moving around the room to inspire everyone. Time flew by, and before I knew it, I had burned over 600 calories and thoroughly enjoyed myself! I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit!!
I quite fancy the fact that there's a diverse workout awaiting me every time I step foot in. Even after a year of regular attendance! I also appreciate being able to set my own goals and paces, yet soaking up the competitive vibe within the group, it's more of an energy boost. The trainers are top-notch and the structured class scheduling keeps me committed and motivated to attend! I absolutely adore OTF!!
I absolutely adore Orange Theory workouts. They really push me beyond my limits, but in a competitive and enjoyable manner that keeps me coming back every day.
The staff, the trainers, the workouts, the music - everything about Orange Theory has been beyond my expectations. I've trained using every method - several gyms, class settings, boot camps, one-on-one with a trainer, at home using DVDs, even with my own equipment at home - and I have NEVER been challenged like I have at Orange Theory! I am thrilled that I have found Orange Theory and will keep my membership for years to come!
As a working mum of five teenagers, I 'adn't been able to establish an exercise routine that fits our family schedule until I found Orangetheory. Even though I'm pretty out of shape, I actually like the workouts (enough variety to keep it interesting), the coaches (Chasslyn is my favorite- upbeat and not afraid to push me to challenge myself), and the music as well as the other people. Highly recommend.
