It's lovely, I must say. It has all you require to accomplish your workout goals. However, I did notice that some of the leg equipment requires new pads and a bit of tightening. Additionally, there are loose bolts on a couple of machines that could use some maintenance attention. Nonetheless, the team there is remarkably friendly. Cheers!

This gym is quite clean compared to others in the Knoxville area. The spa area appears to be cleaned regularly. The showers could use a little extra attention, but overall it's much better than the other two on Kingston Pike.

I really don't understand why they haven't implemented an automated door system to make this gym accessible 24/7. This morning, no one showed up to unlock the gym, leaving about 30 of us waiting until someone finally arrived around 5:25. There are plenty of machines available, but maintenance seems to be lacking. The locker room is slightly cleaner than it was at a previous gym that closed down a few months ago, but not significantly. Opening at 5 am only suits me temporarily, as my work hours will shift to an earlier start time by January. When that happens, I may have to invest in my own weights and exercise at home. This gym would be perfect if they simply switched to keyless entry, allowing people to work out whenever they please.
Julie Thompson (5/30/25, 3:39 PM):
My partner bought us a gym membership, but I never had the chance to even set foot in this place. To my surprise, I discovered an additional charge of $440 on top of the membership fees in the following month. Initially, the sign-up included a complimentary session with a personal trainer, which my girlfriend had scheduled. However, upon arriving for her session, she found out that the trainer had a class to teach, conflicting with her one-on-one appointment. They discussed routines and planned to reschedule the free session, but due to work and life getting hectic, she never managed to book it.

When the fees for the second month rolled around, we were shocked to see another $440 charge for the personal trainer, despite never utilizing their services or claiming the free session. After contacting the gym, they assured us of a refund, and even the personal trainer confirmed that no services were rendered. However, the refund never materialized, and now the location's manager is refusing to reimburse us based on a document my girlfriend allegedly signed. They failed to provide a detailed invoice explaining the charges and are well aware that no services were used, yet they stand by this unjust charge. It seems clear that their business practices prioritize legalities over fairness.

It's evident that this gym is accustomed to taking advantage of customers and prioritizing profit over integrity. In summary, it’s a shady business model that leaves people feeling cheated and dissatisfied.

Kim is an amazing silver sneakers instructor. She really knows how to keep the class lively and you can see she's truly passionate about it. It seems like they are finally addressing some maintenance issues the gym had. I've been a member since it was known as "The Rush."

Just wanted to update my previous review. The class is still fantastic. However, I do think they need to improve the maintenance of equipment and cleanliness of the facilities. It was quite warm inside and I miss having a chat with the cleaning staff.

I must say, the staff are absolutely lovely and this is not their fault at all.
However, it's plainly obvious that this establishment is going downhill... I used to enjoy the company here but ever since I had to use the showers/facilities before evening classes, I had to cancel my membership. The women's bathroom is covered in black mold, several showers are out of order, and equipment is constantly broken. You really do get what you pay for (or less) at this gym, haha. It's a shame to see it deteriorate, but I'm relieved that Armor has opened nearby.
Lisa Torres (5/27/25, 5:27 AM):
I absolutely adore this gym for so many reasons! Firstly, there's no pressure to buy anything you're not interested in. The place is spotless and the staff are always super friendly and ready to assist. And let's talk about the classes... They are truly amazing! People of all ages attend and everyone respects each other, creating a completely safe and welcoming environment.
