Around 2:00pm on January 18th, my partner and I were at the 24-hour fitness center in Rialto on Renaissance Parkway for our daily gym session. We were approached by the gym manager with blonde hair regarding a complaint from a customer who felt uncomfortable seeing us taking photos of ourselves during our workout. I offered to show the GM the photos on my phone to prove that we were only capturing images of ourselves. However, the GM promptly declined my request to show evidence and insisted that we were not allowed to take photos or videos (which we had not taken) inside the gym.

The gym's photography policy clearly states, "Taking photos or filming of others is not permitted without their prior knowledge and consent, and under no circumstances is any photography or filming allowed within the Kids’ Club, locker room, steam room, or sauna areas." While we understand the policy, my partner and I were in the public area of the gym and only took photos of each other with no one else in the background. The GM informed us that we couldn't take any photos or videos at all inside the gym, which I found to be hypocritical considering we regularly see people taking selfies in the gym's open area and locker room, as well as using tripods to record workouts.

I believe the GM handled the situation inadequately by accepting the complaint at face value without listening to our side or allowing us to prove our innocence. After the GM left, other gym members who overheard the conversation were also shocked, confused, and upset by the GM's actions because they made no sense in restricting us from taking photos or videos of ourselves in the gym. These members encouraged us to file a complaint, which leads us here.

It's disheartening to witness the gym where we frequently visited and never had issues with before acting in such an unjust manner. The GM took one side without considering our perspective or acknowledging the evidence we wanted to present to demonstrate our innocence.

The staff at this gym were so helpful and friendly in assisting my mum and me with setting up our memberships. I highly recommend seeking their assistance when signing up for a membership!

It is a decent spot. A bit on the smaller side for my liking. Always bustling with activity. They have the machines positioned right behind the weightlifting area.

Overall, it's an okay gym. Not too shabby. Recently, they joined forces with several charity organizations, which I think is cool. However, the individuals manning those stands can be quite passive-aggressive, but I get it, it’s all about the sales. The pressure tactics can be rather uncomfortable. Only this particular branch has these stands, and at other gym locations, the fundraising folks know when to approach and when to back off. I feel really uneasy when they approach me, and when I decline their offer, they don't seem to take no for an answer. It puts me in an awkward spot, but I have to stand my ground. No means no.

I absolutely adore this spot, but I must say the gents' locker room and showers are quite revolting. The presence of mold, slime, dirt, and grime seems to accumulate week by week. It's a health hazard waiting to happen for someone who dares to utilize those amenities.

I genuinely appreciate everything else this establishment has to offer... an abundance of top-notch machines, a welcoming team, ample parking space, round-the-clock operation, and an ideal location. However, the unsanitary condition of the showers, toilets, and floors renders the experience unbearable. The management ought to conduct a thorough inspection and audit promptly.

I do wish I could give this gym 0 stars. When I initially went in to sign up and get a membership, I interacted with the sales guy who wears glasses, and naturally, I ended up being deceived and manipulated into signing up for and paying for a monthly training session (which I believed was a one-time occurrence). It wasn't until AFTER I had made my payment and reviewed the contract in my email that I realized it was actually a monthly subscription. Upon returning to express my dissatisfaction and clarify that I explicitly stated multiple times that I did not want a trainer or to be tied down to a contract, it seemed the salesman couldn't comprehend taking no for an answer.

I was assured that I would only be charged for one session and receive a courtesy one to secure a lower monthly rate, but I was deceived and misled. The associate then promised to cancel the subscription for me and even offered to refund the initiation fee himself if he failed to do so. However, the cancellation never went through, and I found myself expected to pay $60 per month for a service I never even used.

To add insult to injury, I was left hanging and ignored by my trainer, Jason. Granted, mix-ups can happen, and we rescheduled for the following Friday. When the day arrived, I messaged to confirm our session, but received no response – ultimately being ghosted again. Understandably, I didn't show up since I refused to chase down my trainer after being stood up once before. Consequently, I made the decision to cancel my membership altogether.

I have never felt so let down by a gym or service provider previously. Typically, I don't leave reviews, but this experience truly left me flabbergasted.

The gym was an absolute disaster zone, mate! I tell ya, everywhere you look while you're pumping iron, you'll spot machines covered in sweat stains like they haven't been cleaned in ages, dust bunnies, and hairs all lurking under the equipment. It's enough to make anyone feel queasy while trying to get their workout in. I'm gutted because this gym is just down the road from me, but honestly, I might have to hit up a different spot.

This gym is fantastic, but it's missing a basketball court which is a bummer. I need to bring up a troublesome issue with the management - there are some bikers who insist on parking on the sidewalk instead of using the designated parking spaces. Just now, one of them almost ran me over as he sped towards his favorite spot on the sidewalk.

Apart from the safety concerns for pedestrians like me heading in and out of the gym or people passing by to the movie theater 🎭, the sidewalk outside the gym is now becoming stained with motor oil. It's not a good sight at all. Please, can this be addressed?

Always crowded. They let older men roam around without any security. They allow older men to enter wearing jeans and casual clothes just to stand and ogle at women in the gym. The bathrooms are filthy! Machines are covered in dust. There's always something that's broken. And to top it off, they've increased my bill twice. I used to pay $25, then it jumped to $32.99 and now they've sent me a "courtesy notice" of another price hike to $36 and some change. I'm canceling my membership today.

I must say, my experience at this gym was quite disappointing. I decided to drop by with some friends for a workout, it being my first time there. While my buddies had passes, I didn't, so I signed up online for the 3-day free trial.

Upon arriving, the receptionist immediately tried to upsell me on a membership, despite my polite declines. She was insistent and even brought her manager into the conversation, who followed the same aggressive sales tactics. After more than 10 minutes of back and forth, I simply wanted to pay for a day pass and move on with my workout.

To my surprise, I was quoted $20 for the pass, but the manager rudely mentioned it would be $30 if I could "afford it." The lack of professionalism in their approach was truly astonishing.

The gym itself was overcrowded, with several machines out of order and a general lack of cleanliness. It felt far from the prestige gym they were trying to portray it as.

In my opinion, it was the worst $30 I've ever spent. My advice? Look elsewhere and save your money!

I have been frequenting the 24-hour fitness center in Renaissance Marketplace for a few months now, and I must say that I have encountered several instances of cockroaches on the gym floor and in the locker room. Just the other day, as I opened a locker to stow my belongings, I was startled to find a large cockroach scuttling about inside! It was quite repulsive to witness this, and I am now contemplating exploring alternative gym options.

In addition to the pest issue, there is a janitor who tends to disperse dirt around the locker room without prior notice. He will commence cleaning activities without warning, causing dirt to swirl and settle over individuals who happen to be changing in the vicinity. Moreover, the pool and hot tub emit unpleasant odors that cling to both the body and clothing, making for an unpleasant post-workout experience.

Furthermore, the gym tends to be excessively crowded during peak hours, making it challenging to achieve a productive workout session. Given these factors, I am inclined to explore other fitness centers for a more satisfactory gym experience.

I strolled into the 24 in Rialto on Wednesday morning for my workout. I was pleasantly surprised by the new equipment and the overall cleanliness of the gym, which surpasses that of others in nearby cities. However, I was disappointed to find that over 20 of the cardio machines were unplugged and had "OUT OF ORDER" signs displayed on them.

As I approached to take some photos for this review, I noticed that the one stair master that was operational was being used by someone else. After the individual finished their workout, they remarked to me, "This is ridiculous, right?" I agreed with them wholeheartedly.

I couldn't help but wonder if 24 Hour Fitness would be compensating its members for the inconvenience of having more than 20 cardio machines out of commission. Probably not, but it's worth a shot! 😄

I just rang up this 24-hour fitness center today, on the 13th of October. I made the call because it's quite strange that many 24-hour fitness centers actually close around 8:00 or 9:00 p.m. on weekends, which doesn't quite align with the whole "24-hour" concept, don't you think? Anyhow, I gave a ring to the facility in Rialto and was pleasantly surprised by the lovely lady who answered the phone, Brooke. She kindly informed me that their establishment truly operates around the clock and proceeded to share details about their impressive amenities. I felt compelled to spread the word - Brooke's exceptional customer service and professional demeanor are top-notch. Although my usual gym is located in San Bernardino, I'm seriously considering switching to this one in Rialto based solely on her outstanding service. Cheers to Brooke!
