This gym has a larger space and a variety of equipment available. I usually like to work out in the early morning when it's quieter. I just wish they would add more TV screens, otherwise I would give them 5 stars.
Update to my previous review. The situation remains unsatisfactory. People persist in wearing gym shoes in the sauna, there is still a significant amount of dirt and hair scattered around the equipment, and the locker room and showers continue to be littered with hair. It baffles me how this establishment manages to stay busy despite these issues. Additionally, it would be much appreciated to be able to exercise without being surrounded by individuals vaping everywhere. I have witnessed them vaping on the treadmills, in the weightlifting area, the locker room, and even in the pool vicinity. The staff members seem to just loiter around the reception area chatting amongst themselves, rather than attending to their duties.
While the facility itself isn't terrible, I must admit that cleanliness is a major concern. Hair can still be found in abundance around the machines, the spa section, and within the lockers. I am strongly considering cancelling my membership soon due to the management's negligence in addressing a man who vapes in inappropriate areas such as the hot tub, outside the hot tub, and in the steam room. Furthermore, there have been incidents involving men entering the women's locker room to film unsuspecting women.
It appears that this 24-hour gym is in dire need of a complete overhaul.
Reid was so helpful in giving me the tour of all the gym amenities. It was a jolly good thing to chat with him as well. He was truly top-notch and quite enjoyable to speak with. He provided excellent service. As for the gym itself, it boasts a plethora of workout equipment that I am eager to use.
Allow me to begin by stating that I have been a member of this gym since its inception. I must express my confusion over recent events, as two gyms affiliated with this establishment have recently closed. Subsequently, they absorbed an influx of new members only to reduce their operating hours and no longer offer 24/7 access. This modification has necessitated a change in my routine, as 5 am is now too late for me to arrive at work punctually on Mondays. Furthermore, between the hours of 5-7:30 am, accessing equipment promptly proves challenging due to overcrowding. I prefer to visit the gym at 3:30 am when it is less congested, although not entirely vacant. Regrettably, due to the altered schedule, Mondays are no longer feasible for me.
The closest 24-hour facility is situated off Arapahoe Road in Parker, a considerable distance from Arvada. It may be advisable for the business to consider rebranding given the disparity between their name and current operational practices.
Additionally, I am lowering my rating by one star due to the deteriorating condition of the equipment. Benches show signs of wear and tear, the weight clips are of poor quality and challenging to manipulate, and there are instances of missing equipment that is never replaced. The only redeeming quality of this gym is the lack of nearby competition, allowing them to retain members without prioritizing exceptional service.
Their sales representative will get in touch with you daily to pressure you into buying personal training. Very unprofessional.
They reached out to me 6 times within a week until I was able to be added to their "do not contact" list.

A decent gym, it just requires more frequent cleaning and better cleaning tools for members. Also, it's not truly open 24 hours and closes at 9pm on Fridays, which is quite disappointing.
It's just the sole gym in the vicinity.
Quite decent overall. I've been a member for 6 months now and I enjoy working out early in the morning. Today marks the third occasion where I've arrived at 5 am (the designated opening time), waited until 5:30, only to find the gym still closed. It does tend to disrupt my workout routine every few months. Besides that, my experience has been positive.
This gym used to be quite decent until they began closing earlier. I regularly drove 20 minutes from my house to this particular location since it was one of the few remaining genuine "24 Hour" gyms. Even late at night, there were always quite a few folks here, so there was ample reason to keep it open. Now, I've driven here for my late-night workout only to discover it's shut. Wasted journey and now I must locate a new gym. They should consider renaming this chain of gyms.
My motorcar was broken into whilst I was working out at 24 hour fitness on the 8th of October, 2023, around 8:00pm.
I duly filed a report with the Arvada Police, and to my dismay, they failed to launch an investigation into the matter, despite me discovering that there had been 8 vehicle break-ins at 24 hour fitness in the past week.
Regrettably, 24 hour fitness lacks any outdoor cameras, adequate lighting in the parking lot, or security measures. Why would I choose to frequent a gym where I'm paying for no such safeguards, or be in an area where law enforcement shows little regard for public safety? Why indeed should I continue to invest in a community facility that neglects to prioritize security?
So, I've been frequenting this place for a few months now, but regrettably, my experiences haven't been too great. The men's gym locker room is a filthy place, teeming with germs and ideal for insect breeding. Bugs scuttling on the shower walls, a strong urine stench, completely unsanitary. I'll have to start scouting for a new spot or a different gym that maintains better hygiene standards.
Way more spacious and tidier than the Lakewood spot on Alameda. Definitely gotta give the sauna a try next visit.
This particular 24 Hour Fitness establishment ranks as my number one choice, mainly due to its proximity to my humble abode. It offers an abundant array of training contraptions, free weights, and cardiovascular contrivances, alongside a diverse selection of classes in both the early dawning and twilight hours. The swimming pool features a trio of lanes, along with a rejuvenating hot bath, a tranquil sauna, and a therapeutic steam chamber. The weekdays, particularly Monday through Thursday, witness a flurry of activity with a youthful clientele, at times monopolizing various workout stations such as the leg press, bench press, squat racks, and cables. However, the weekend ambiance from Friday through Sunday tends to be more tranquil. Regrettably, I must deduct a couple of stars from my review due to the perpetual olfactory assault that plagues this specific 24 Hour Fitness branch. Despite having frequented numerous 24 Hour Fitness locales, this particular one seems to hold the title for most pungent odors. The exercise premises and changing rooms are haunted by a lingering aroma reminiscent of unwelcome body odor, a scent that stubbornly refuses to dissipate. The origins of this unpleasant fragrance remain a mystery to me, especially when compared to other 24 Hour Fitness venues that have managed to maintain a more pleasant atmosphere.
Although the gym facilities were top-notch and there were some very helpful staff members, I was left feeling unsatisfied with the gym's lack of transparency regarding their membership program. Upon signing up, I clearly stated that I only intended to be a member for one month and requested a monthly plan. Despite repeatedly inquiring about any additional fees, they failed to mention the annual fee. After 15 days, I was charged $59.99, and when I raised this issue, they informed me that it was mentioned during the signup process. I distinctly remember that not being the case. In total, I ended up spending close to $100 for just one month. I was extremely disappointed by the lack of honesty at the 24 Hour Fitness Arvada location.
This 24-hour fitness center is top-notch, mate! I've visited quite a few, and this one takes the cake!
