Welcome to 24 Hour Fitness Sacramento

Located conveniently in the heart of Sacramento, 24 Hour Fitness has become a cherished spot for fitness enthusiasts and casual gym-goers alike. This gym offers a unique atmosphere that attracts a friendly, mature crowd, perfect for those looking to work out without distractions.

Amenities and Offerings

The gym boasts an impressive range of amenities including a swimming pool, sauna, and communal showers. The wheelchair-accessible entrance and car park ensure that everyone can enjoy the facilities comfortably. However, many members have voiced a desire for more privacy in the shower area, as it currently lacks stalls.

Community Vibe

Visitors frequently talk about the welcoming atmosphere of the gym. Many long-time members share their experiences of connecting with others and forming friendships within the community. Staff members like Emilio, Gianna, and personal trainers Andre and Darryl contribute to this family-like vibe by providing attentive service and encouragement, helping members achieve their fitness goals.

Convenience and Accessibility

Even though membership is required to access the facilities, the convenience of its location allows members to plan their workouts easily. However, some members have pointed out issues with parking during peak hours due to the popularity of nearby retail shops. This can sometimes lead to a frustrating experience upon arrival.

Improvements and Management

With the commitment to enhancing the gym under new management, improvements have been noticeable. Members appreciate the cleanliness and effort taken to maintain the gym's equipment. Still, there are calls for better ventilation and more cardio machines to accommodate the bustling morning and evening crowds. Regular updates on repairs and equipment replacements show the gym's dedication to member satisfaction.

The first thing that struck me upon entering the Gym was the aroma...it had a damp, sweaty scent, as if the air conditioning wasn't functioning properly. The equipment selection was quite limited and the place tended to get overcrowded quickly...plus, many of the machines were out of order. Parking was also extremely tight...

Greetings y'all! Just wanted to give a big shout-out to the #24HrFitness located at 7600 Greenhaven. I may not be a local resident in the Sac area, so I can't really speak on the facilities there, but let me tell ya, the service provided by Evangeline (and her manager, Sierra) was top-notch.

I happened to swing by to question a transaction on my credit card after unfreezing my account recently, and lo and behold, I stumbled upon this gym conveniently located near the I-5 corridor on my way to the SoCal area. Evangeline was incredibly attentive to my concerns and not only sorted out the issue with my account but also discovered that my PacNW gym was charging me the same rate for the regional 24/hr gyms up there as their Sacramento/California gyms were charging for their current national promotion. Can you believe it? Doesn't Vancouver/Portland know we ain't made of money up there?

Despite my initial frustration, she graciously offered for me to switch over my membership from WA/PDX to the Sacramento gym for the same price, plus an annual fee which I could pay off, still required with my old plan. After some consideration, especially when she mentioned she could refund me for the PDX charge, I was sold. Not only did I receive the refund that very evening, but now I have access to gyms in California and beyond.

I've heard some negative chatter regarding the facilities at this gym, but word on the street is they're planning a remodel soon. The number one factor for me to switch any business, even within the same company, is always good customer service and putting the customer first. Thanks a million, Evangeline! - SC

I've been a member since '97. I've never encountered such a rude greeter. The gym now opens at 5 am instead of being open 24 hours. I've interacted with countless greeters over the years. Once they get to know all the regulars, things run smoothly as usual. But this young lady doesn't even acknowledge me. I'm always the first one there every morning, at the door by 4:45. When she opens up, I greet her with a good morning, but she remains silent. Sheila says good morning to her, and she responds. I don't understand why she ignores me but greets everyone else. She's the only one who doesn't engage with the regulars. Eventually, she started setting up two TVs for Sheila and Dan without me having to ask, but I had to request for mine. After 2 months, she began changing mine without prompting. However, she now insists that I check in, even though I have my original membership ID which looks like an old high school ASB card. They can't process my check-in with the scanner; it has to be manually entered. Other greeters remember one name and add it to the system after check-ins, but she wants me to check in first. I wouldn't mind if someone was at the counter when I arrived, but there isn't. She seems to prefer being unprofessional and causing inconvenience while trying to assert authority. I'd prefer if any of the previous staff returned because she's the worst. She's a typical Gen Z, expecting a lot for minimal effort.

I've been attending this gym for a couple of years now. The customer service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is always so welcoming.

I quite enjoy this quaint little gym. The staff and patrons are lovely, though I must mention the issue of inadequate ventilation, particularly near the treadmills. The cardio area lacks proper airflow, making it challenging to exercise comfortably for extended periods. It feels rather stuffy in there, and one ends up breathing in everyone else's sweat and fumes. Personally, I've taken to driving over to Planet Fitness in West Sacramento for longer cardio sessions as they have proper fans in place. It would be a simple fix to install a few commercial fans in this section, and I trust that management will address this soon. Cheers!
