The ice surface was pristine and velvety smooth. The staff were exceedingly pleasant and welcoming, creating a delightful atmosphere at the rink. Overall, it was an incredibly pleasant experience.
Amber Young (7/13/25, 5:20 AM):
There seems to be a lack of parking facilities available at the ice skating rink.
Carol Gutierrez (7/12/25, 8:20 AM):
Fantastic spot for the little ones and the whole family. Be sure to double-check the open skate schedule, as they offer hockey and ice skating classes in the winter months. During spring and summer, it transforms into a roller skating rink. They also host birthday celebrations, with an indoor space available for parties. As a child of the '80s, I wholeheartedly endorse this place! It's wonderful to see my kids enjoying roller rinks just like I did back in the day!
Anna Roberts (7/10/25, 3:38 AM):
I must say, I took my daughter to this ice skating rink for her birthday party over the weekend and I was left feeling quite disappointed. Right from the beginning, we faced delays getting into the party room due to a tournament that ran late, ultimately shortening the duration of our party. When we finally entered the room, the smell was unbearable as it had previously been used as a locker room for the players. Spending over $300 on a party that was both cut short and unpleasant due to the foul odor was truly disheartening. I wouldn't opt for this experience again. Sadly, my daughter only managed to skate for about 30 minutes. The only positive aspect was the kindness of the girls who assisted us.

I recently attended the Klamath Basin Oktoberfest. The food was delightful, the drinks were invigorating, and the ambiance was vibrant. While it may have started off a bit slow, once things got going, it turned into a jolly good time for everyone involved.

Traveled all the way for a 7-hour drive to spend three nights at Running Y Ranch for our Thanksgiving getaway. We had booked ice skating for the hours indicated online until 11pm. Upon our arrival at 8:20pm, it took a good 10 minutes to get our skates, and we were met with a less than pleasant attitude from the young lady at the register. It then took us another ten minutes or more to get the skates on for my kids, my wife, and myself. To our surprise, the rink closed at 9pm without any prior warning that it would be shutting down shortly. Once closed at 9pm, we were informed that they never stay open past that time. This was a case of extremely poor customer service and misleading advertising of the rink's operating hours. In this day and age of 2022, even the smallest businesses accurately post their hours online. Though I'm not particularly bothered by the $50 loss for just a couple of laps around the rink, I am truly disappointed that my 9 and 11-year-old sons left feeling let down.
Mark Foster (7/8/25, 12:43 AM):
Lovely ice rink, just needs a bit more Zamboni action to keep it pristine. Rental skates are starting to show their age, but there's a cozy fire to warm up by. Cheers!
Amelia Lopez (7/7/25, 4:17 AM):
An outdoor seasonal ice rink. The sessions don't kick off too early, but the ice is kept in top condition and never too packed. We chose this spot for our spring break training camp.

On the odd warm day, it might get a tad wet, but the team is super friendly and happy to help if you spot any issues on the ice. It's great to skate in the fresh air.
Zoey Collins (7/6/25, 11:42 PM):
The ice skating rink was an absolute delight, offering a serene and beautiful experience. Such tranquility!
Judith Jenkins (7/6/25, 10:02 AM):
The staff is lovely and the children have a blast!
Louis Ortiz (6/30/25, 8:32 AM):
Absolutely lovely and meticulously maintained. We had an absolutely smashing time. We're up from AZ and it was our maiden voyage on the ice, so it was simply splendid!
Nicole Edwards (6/29/25, 11:32 AM):
Our first visit to this delightful, enjoyable, and affectionate place was truly special! My 6-year-old grandchild had a one-on-one lesson with Miss Anna, by serendipity! We feel truly fortunate for the incredible gift that Miss Anna bestowed upon my grandchild. She had an unparalleled experience thanks to Miss Anna's unwavering presence, guiding her through the intricacies of ice skating with utmost attention and a lot of liveliness! Miss Anna even took her for a ride on the seal and showcased some fantastic moves! She had a fantastic time here, and Miss Anna topped it off by preparing her a special hot chocolate with a heart made of whipped cream and sprinkles!!! Thank you so much, Miss Anna, you were absolutely exceptional with my grandchild. We had a wonderful time and stayed cozy near all the heated areas!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!
Harold Sanchez (6/29/25, 2:51 AM):
This ice skating rink is absolutely brilliant for the community, offering a variety of activities like family skating, hockey, curling, and lessons. The website could do with a bit of sprucing up, but if you're willing to spend some time looking around, you'll find the schedule. One major suggestion I have for the rink organizers is to get lockers installed. Sadly, last year our lad's shoes got pinched, so it's worth bringing along some old shoes just in case. Cheers!
Robert Baker (6/25/25, 4:32 AM):
Oh, jolly good fun! The little ones had a smashing time at the ice skating rink. It brought back fond memories of my own roller skating days when I was their age. Cheers to reliving those classic moments!
Andrew Robinson (6/25/25, 1:14 AM):
Always such a jolly good time!
Emily Jordan (6/24/25, 1:17 AM):
It was a jolly good time watching the youngsters twirling around the ice rink today. The chaps and gals were having a splendid time, getting their exercise in while donning masks and keeping their social distance. Cheers to a fun-filled day on the ice!
Lucy Barnes (6/23/25, 3:54 PM):
My little ones and I absolutely adore visiting this place for some ice skating fun during the winter!
Kelly Hayes (6/20/25, 1:50 PM):
Fantastic Roller Skating at the Running Y Ranch. Ice skating in the winter and roller skating in the summer. Experience the invigorating mountain air as you glide around. The cost is $12, which includes skate rental. While I'm not certain of all the hours and days, on Friday and Saturday nights, there's open skating from 7 to 9 pm. Natalie was absolutely brilliant! Hopefully, she'll be there when you visit! 😁 It's an absolute riot!
Walter Cooper (6/15/25, 12:41 AM):
There be ice to glide upon, and one can hire some skates for the occasion. My daughter had a grand time celebrating her birthday on the rink.
Joyce Lee (6/12/25, 5:54 PM):
I had an absolutely smashing time at the ice skating rink! The staff were ever so lovely and accommodating. I simply must pop back for another go when I have the chance. Cheers!
