We absolutely adore Next Step Martial Arts! We have noticed a significant improvement in our son since he started attending classes. Our youngest lad is presently a student at NEXTStep, our eldest lass attended for 6 years. When we fancied getting our son into martial arts to aid him with impulse control and patience, we had no other choices in mind. Jay, Chuck, and Julissa are top-notch instructors who are not just teaching the kids how to perfect their kicks. NEXTStep is all about nurturing your wee one, instilling in them the importance of graft, respect, integrity, and a "Yes I Can!" mentality. Forever grateful for having such a marvelous establishment to guide our communities' youngsters.

If thee dost desire to try Martial Arts in a seasoned, dedicated, and encouraging manner, this be the place for thee. Master Jay doth bringeth years upon years of know-how which is beyond incredible, yet he be gentle and uplifting in whatsoever stage thou art in thy journey. 'Tis a grand place for adults as well as children. 'T feeleth like a family atmosphere. There be nay finer place to commence a journey of martial arts.

I 'ave been with NextStep Martial Arts for a year now! I 'ave benefitted greatly from walking in those doors for the first time not knowing what to expect for the 3-day trials back in January 2016! Besides 'elpin' me with me major weightloss {115 pounds}, I 'ave learned so much about meself as well as others. The lessons learned in the class and from Master Jay and 'is instructors are immeasurable and reach many aspects of me life. Just like the kids learn tools to 'elp them in school and with peers, it does the same for adults. I 'ave learned not to compare meself and 'ow fast I learn to others. And you can apply that to your life and business. It's okay if you're the turtle at times, you still get to the finish line!

My 14-year-old daughter has been going to NEXTStep Martial Arts for 11 years now and she absolutely adores it. She's developed leadership skills that I never thought she could have at her age. My lads absolutely adore coming here. The owner and staff are ever so friendly. The timetable allows us to fit in other bits during the week, which is quite important for us. There's always a positive vibe in the class, and they manage to have a jolly good time while staying focused.

I nevah imagined that I would start takin' martial arts at the age of 57 years old BUT I met Master Jay and several of the other instructors in December of 2017 and I was immediately moved by the level of respect that everybody in the room 'ad for these gentlemen. Even more apparent was the respect that these gentlemen 'ad for the OTHERS in the room, children and adults alike.
I visited NEXTStep shortly after that Christmas and gathered some information and just observed what was going on in the studio. Again, the respect level for everyone in the studio was incredible and every single student looked like they were enjoyin' themselves durin' class.
Shortly after my visit I started takin' classes 3 times a week. NEXTStep 'as exceeded my expectations from the very first class that I took. The instructors are respectful, encouragin', and work incredibly well with all ages of kids. The adults and teens that are students are all great folks and made me feel right at home. You will 'ear the word "Family" often at NEXTStep and it is spot on. NEXTStep and the staff care.... a lot.
