Exceptional Coaches Transforming Lives

The heart of Cobra Kai lies in its exceptional coaching staff. Families report that the children's jiu-jitsu and grappling classes, led by coaches Joe and Mike, have significantly improved their children's self-confidence and technique. Parents rave, "My sons have learned so much," highlighting the transformative impact of dedicated instruction. Moreover, Coach Luis's approach to teaching Muay Thai has been particularly praised. One parent mentioned, “I've never seen anyone motivate others as well as Coach Luis.” His ability to connect with shy children has encouraged them to push through their fears and embrace new challenges.

A Welcoming Atmosphere for All

Cobra Kai prides itself on creating a warm and welcoming environment. Visitors are greeted by Jessica or Eric at the front desk, who provide a friendly and professional first impression. Many comments emphasize the community aspect, with statements like, “There’s no one acting higher or better than anyone else.” This culture of respect fosters strong friendships among members, making it more than just a gym—it's a family.

Quality Instruction at Reasonable Prices

Individuals and families alike appreciate the value offered at Cobra Kai. With a variety of classes available, members find that the prices are reasonable compared to other gyms. One parent noted, “I’ve been to other gyms that charge double and didn’t have nearly the quality of staff.” The comprehensive class offerings cater to all skill levels, ensuring everyone can find something that suits their needs.

Continuous Improvement and Safety Concerns

While the positive feedback is overwhelming, some visitors have pointed out areas for improvement. There are mentions of the 24-hour door sometimes not functioning as intended, which has been a recurring issue. Additionally, parents have expressed concerns about the safety of children running around during classes. However, these points do not overshadow the overall positive experiences shared by many.

I ain't too fond of you, Silver. Nevertheless, I reckon I'll still bestow upon thee a fiver in stars. After all, this ain't no ordinary telly program, but a genuine karate school, haha.

These blokes are the real deal, mate. Got all their credentials on display right at the entrance, and let me tell ya, the BJJ in the back is not just good, it's top-notch. Every person I've met there has been top bloke. I decided to give it a whirl with the free week offer I got in the post, and I've been hooked ever since. The folks there are absolute legends, proper respectful. This place is legit, I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking to start out in martial arts or even for those who've been at it for ages. Whether you're a newbie or a fitness fanatic, this is the place to be. They've got BJJ, Krav Maga, Muay Thai, Boxing, Cardio/Circuit classes... Give 'em a bell or just pop in for a gander. You won't regret it, mate.

Fantastic martial arts school, with a friendly and supportive team, skilled instructors, and excellent rates. It's just brilliant, really.
Alan Brooks (4/30/25, 8:57 AM):
Brilliant spot! My niece attends this martial arts school, but one downside is the presence of quite a few young children running about. It can be a bit distracting and disruptive for those trying to focus on their classes. As someone there to watch my niece, it was quite challenging with all the kids running around and playing with the equipment. This also raises safety concerns for both the children and the parents/spectators. The venue is fantastic, but it would be advisable for the staff to keep a closer eye on non-students to ensure everyone respects the learning environment for paying customers.
Amanda Ramirez (4/29/25, 10:44 PM):
Oozing with determination and fierce spirit, this martial arts school embodies the ethos of never giving up. With a focus on discipline, technique, and respect, students are guided to push themselves to their limits and beyond. No mercy is shown in the pursuit of excellence, both on and off the mat.
Ann Miller (4/28/25, 10:01 PM):
I arrived here and found great instructors and an excellent training facility.
Jennifer Turner (4/28/25, 5:35 PM):
This place is absolute rubbish. I signed up for some karate, but all they teach is boxing. It's a no-go from me, no discipline whatsoever. They just want to throw punches without any technique. Seems like a cheap knockoff of a real dojo. Do yourself a favor and find a proper martial arts school, mate.
James Fisher (4/27/25, 4:08 AM):
Superb instructors, top-notch atmosphere, brilliant gym!
Dennis Williams (4/24/25, 10:33 PM):
Absolutely top-notch martial arts school! My family and I attend the Jiu jitsu class there. The little ones are always excited for class, and my hubby and I never fail to pick up new skills. Definitely a must-try!
