Kevin Hamilton (5/1/25, 6:33 AM):
Please exercise caution when visiting this establishment! I was a member here from the beginning of 2014 until I relocated in August of the same year. Prior to my move, I made a visit to the facility in person to close my account and settle any outstanding bills. I was assured that everything was sorted out and that my membership had been officially canceled at my request. However, it is now November and upon checking, I discovered that my account had been sent to collections for an unpaid bill from May. I am now facing a debt of over $60 to a collection agency because of their oversight.

Furthermore, I had been using the facility in May, June, and July, despite supposedly having an overdue payment. Instead of notifying me about the unpaid bill, they allowed me to continue accessing the facility without any warning. The individuals I spoke with about this matter, Karen and Louis from the billing department, appeared indifferent to the situation and showed little concern for the error that has led to my current predicament.

I am disappointed by the lack of accountability and customer care displayed by this organization. Any business, especially one that claims to uphold Christian values, should take responsibility for their mistakes and rectify them promptly.

All the people are really friendly and super skilled, I especially love working with Jennifer and Yvonne.
Lucy Scott (4/28/25, 4:56 AM):
Lovely team and pristine environment
Amy Lee (4/28/25, 12:35 AM):
Lovely indoor spaces. Such a shame there isn't a swimming pool. Otherwise, a fantastic facility.
Russell Young (4/26/25, 1:01 AM):
I've been going to the Y since it opened and the staff is really kind and helpful. The equipment is brand new, well-maintained, and there's enough of it that even when it's busy, I hardly ever have to wait.

I was informed that my attire was not considered appropriate for a family-friendly environment, even though I had been wearing the same outfits for the past 3 months since joining. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.
Dylan Clark (4/24/25, 8:23 AM):
The indoor softball facility was absolutely brilliant! The weather was dreadful outside, but we were snug as a bug inside. And when we finally stepped out, we were greeted by a stunning rainbow.

I've been going to this gym for 5 months now. My workouts have been pretty consistent each time, mainly using the resistance bands. However, the other day, I decided to try out some equipment for the first time. It was a complete disaster! The bands weren't properly attached and I ended up face-planting onto the gym floor. As a result, I got a bruised chin, a strained neck causing terrible headaches, and had to wear a neck brace. Despite all this, the gym refused to cover my ER visit expenses, claiming it wasn't their fault. Looks like we'll be settling this in court. Needless to say, I won't be setting foot in the South Hanover YMCA for my workouts anymore.
Ryan Parker (4/17/25, 5:43 PM):
I absolutely love Stephanie's classes! She is such a fantastic motivator and really knows how to push you during the workout. I always attend her spin/cycling sessions and they are just fantastic! ❤
Jeremy Hall (4/17/25, 3:07 PM):
I ventured to the gym on Sunday, March 25th, only to find it overflowing with various events, leaving no space for parking...the lot was jam-packed, utterly absurd. Must I alter my timetable to accommodate the management's incompetence and disorganization? It seems that greed is encompassed within their Christian values...as a patron, I expect to access the facility at my convenience, not the YMCA's...there's simply no justification for this!
Gabriel Sanchez (4/16/25, 12:56 PM):
Jennifer at the front desk was absolutely lovely and incredibly thorough. She anticipated my questions before I even had to ask them!
Sharon Garcia (4/15/25, 4:48 PM):
Absolutely dreadful experience signing my child up for flag football. The female coach was simply awful. She showed no interest in teaching my child the game and only seemed concerned with having specific boys on the field at all times to secure wins for the team. Essentially, I paid just to watch my son sit on the sidelines. Despite speaking with a staff member named Matt, no improvements were made. I believe her name is Meesha - I strongly advise against letting your child play under her coaching.
Kathryn Reynolds (4/14/25, 10:44 PM):
Lovely Pilates class from 4 to 5!
Samantha Gonzales (4/14/25, 8:03 PM):
Fantastic establishment! Impeccably maintained and equipped with top-of-the-line gear!
Billy Hernandez (4/12/25, 6:25 AM):
My grandchild participates in sports activities at the non-profit organization, and we all thoroughly enjoy it. He is just 5 years old.
Joseph Clark (4/11/25, 12:06 PM):
The staff is really friendly and welcoming. The gym equipment is clean and top-notch. My only wish is that it had a steam room like the one up north.
