One can engage in the lifting and dropping of weights within this establishment, provided that the proper equipment is utilized. Therefore, if one is prone to being skittish, it is advisable to take caution.
Zoey Reyes (6/15/25, 7:00 PM):
Doesn't possess a swimming pool, but makes up for it with an extensive locker room.
Noah Wilson (6/12/25, 2:06 PM):
The gym is quite compact, lacks a pool, the music leaves much to be desired, and there isn't a separate area for the gym as a part of the wall has been removed for direct access to the basketball court. Additionally, if there is a lot of noise, using noise-cancelling headphones is pretty much out of the question.
Brenda Fisher (6/11/25, 11:28 PM):
Fantastic facility, I must say.
Frank Sullivan (6/11/25, 7:12 AM):
Exciting volleyball session every Friday morning!
Deborah Rogers (6/9/25, 4:48 AM):
Great team, great facilities. Can't ask for anything better!!!
Alexander Howard (6/7/25, 10:49 AM):
This recreation center is a splendid spot for a workout session. They offer a wide variety of classes suitable for individuals of all ages. Additionally, there are top-notch gym facilities with a plethora of new workout equipment, an indoor running track, two basketball courts, two racquetball courts, sizeable locker rooms, dedicated stretching areas, multiple TVs, and energizing music. The ample free parking is definitely a bonus. The staff members are consistently accommodating and friendly, which adds to the overall positive experience. The pricing for annual passes or walk-in visits is quite reasonable, and residents can benefit from special discounts. The only downside is the absence of a pool.
Karen Ramos (6/6/25, 6:47 PM):
Spotless, capacious, meticulously maintained. Gym fully equipped, volleyball courts, indoor track for walking/running. Spacious and pristine locker rooms. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Daily classes available.
Angela Stewart (6/5/25, 3:14 PM):
Absolutely adore this recreation center! Just wish the basketball courts were maintained a tad bit better. They tend to get quite dusty, leading to slippery conditions for a game of basketball.
Teresa White (6/2/25, 2:25 AM):
Our wee lad attends Kinder Care 'round here, and he usually has a grand time.
Grace Evans (5/31/25, 12:31 PM):
Hosted my brother's memorial in a very delightful setting
Elizabeth Ramirez (5/29/25, 3:10 PM):
I've been frequenting this place for years. They really excel at keeping the equipment in top shape and making upgrades whenever possible. The team is fantastic as well. I've been attending evening classes for a while now, and the instructors are truly exceptional. It's a wonderful facility conveniently located nearby. While there are a couple of busy periods, it's generally not too crowded.
Keith Sanchez (5/29/25, 10:39 AM):
A wee recreation center, but just right.
Amelia Morales (5/27/25, 2:21 AM):

Allison Walker (5/21/25, 12:09 PM):

Nathan Watson (5/21/25, 12:07 AM):
It's a well-stocked albeit small gym, darling.
Sandra Robinson (5/18/25, 10:11 PM):
Update: The soap dispenser has been repaired and a missing bolt from some equipment has been replaced. Additionally, the front desk staff are consistently friendly. I have revised my rating from 1 to 3 stars.

Original comment from 2 weeks ago:
I must say, this establishment does not keep things up to date nor do they promptly fix issues. For a while, the soap dispenser in the men's changing room was barely hanging on by a thread off the mirror. Instead of fixing it, they opted to remove the dispenser altogether. Various pieces of equipment are wobbly and have missing bolts, yet no one bothers to address these safety concerns. When a bench broke, they simply moved it to a hallway instead of taking the time to repair it. The rod for hanging yoga mats is constantly loose; one day it was even missing, only to be replaced with one that is still broken and unstable. The upstairs cardio space reeks of bile, and the area near the leg press has a foul smell reminiscent of a sewer gas leak or a bodily mishap that was never properly cleaned up. Locker number 178 has been assigned to me on three separate occasions, each time finding it broken. Despite my numerous complaints, I am always told that someone will attend to it "tomorrow," but tomorrow never seems to arrive. Furthermore, there is a total lack of etiquette when it comes to reracking weights, and they allow individuals to freely promote their religious beliefs without intervention.
Johnny Robinson (5/18/25, 9:34 PM):
The staff is so friendly, mate!
Edward Long (5/12/25, 1:42 PM):
We are part-time residents and needed a pass that would fit our schedule. The lovely staff showed us various options and devised the ideal plan for us. The facility is immaculate and we found all the amenities we required. Thank you!
Amy Gutierrez (5/12/25, 8:25 AM):
This recreation center is less crowded compared to the main Westminster Recreation Center on 104th and Sheridan, although the gym space is more compact. There is an indoor track situated above the basketball courts and gym area.
