Vertical View is an absolutely brilliant climbing gym. They've got the tallest climbing walls in the region and the routes are always so inventive. I mostly boulder and I love the challenge that each new problem provides. The routes tend to be quite tough, but I really relish the challenge and the creativity that's on show on the walls. It's one of the few climbing gyms I've come across that sets problems above V9; the highest grade I've consistently seen is V13! The staff are friendly, and the climbing community here is incredibly welcoming. Overall, it's my top climbing gym in the Valley!

We 'ad such a jolly good time today at Vertical View. Blake was particularly helpful, going above and beyond to welcome a couple of beginners to the sport. Cheers for all the information and for 'elpin' us feel right at 'ome on the walls :)
Jessica Henderson (4/28/25, 2:15 PM):
We 'ad our company Christmas party at Vertical View and it was a huge hit with our employees! The staff were brilliant! Katie sorted all the details. We 'ad about 80 people who fit comfortably on the second floor. The caterer was very thankful for the conveniently located elevator. The price was great to 'ave such an awesome venue that included belay training and climbing gear for everyone at the party that fancied a climb (about 35 of the 80). Those that did not fancy a climb 'ad a cracking time spectating and visiting with each other. We 'ave been 'olding Christmas parties for 30 years and this will go down as the favourite. We will be there again next year (probably ought to get that on their calendar now!)

Mark's bouldering league was absolutely brilliant! The community here is extremely welcoming too. It's a fantastic spot, largely thanks to Mark.
Daisy Garcia (4/25/25, 9:17 PM):
The staff were super chill yet incredibly knowledgeable. I absolutely adore how this place incorporates yoga studios alongside the gym. Even if you don't commit to a membership, a day pass is definitely worthwhile. I spent the whole day climbing, bouldering, and hitting the gym - never a dull moment, definitely got my money's worth! 🧗🏼‍♀️ ...
Amelia Cook (4/25/25, 8:53 AM):
My missus and I popped into this rock climbing gym for a spot of date night fun and we absolutely adored it. The class led by the staff was top-notch, and they made sure to take the time to ensure we felt fully at ease and secure climbing solo, even though we were total newbies. The staff were ever so friendly and knowledgeable, and the gym itself was spick and span, with top-quality facilities. There's oodles of room to cater to all climbers during peak times, and there are routes available for climbers of all abilities. A solid 10 out of 10 from us - we'll definitely be returning.

Vertical View is truly a top-notch establishment. It offers fantastic climbing routes suitable for climbers of all levels, a bouldering room, friendly staff, a pool table, ping pong, yoga studios, gym facilities, and a locker room. This gym truly exceeds the standard for what a typical rock climbing gym provides. Upon moving to the Meridian area for school, I was extremely thankful to have such an amazing place to frequent. The community is fortunate to have such an exceptional facility nearby. So, head on down there and support this fantastic local business! Cheers!
Larry Gray (4/24/25, 3:12 AM):
One of the most thrilling experiences, I must say! My sisters and I, being novices, decided to enroll in the belay class provided. We are truly grateful for that decision as it turned out to be incredibly enlightening. The gym offers a wide array of climbs suited for different skill levels. We honed our skills on the shorter routes a couple of times before braving the impressive 4-story wall. The fellow climbers nearby were exceedingly amiable and supportive, cheering us on to reach the summit. It was an absolute blast, and we are eagerly looking forward to our next visit!
Steven Allen (4/23/25, 12:16 AM):
Verticle View is a fantastic spot! My children, aged 13, 10, 8, and 5, absolutely adored it. The team was extremely welcoming! We had a blast. One of my kids who's afraid of heights was a bit anxious, but Jory really helped her, being patient and kind. She encouraged her to climb higher with each attempt. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will certainly return!
Noah Coleman (4/15/25, 2:38 AM):
We are unlikely to renew our membership. We've been to over 15 rock gyms across the country. I agree with others to focus first on the basics of climbing instead of frills. The biggest issue is the poor setting. Please consider getting a few women setters. The routes are uncomfortable and reachy for a 5'4" woman. Some routes are not even possible without unnecessary dynos. There are many ways to make routes more difficult without spreading the holds further and further apart. The boulder routes are much better than rope.

Consider not wrapping your top ropes around the anchor twice, or somehow smooth these out. It makes taking very challenging, sometimes we can barely take when top roping. Again, unnecessarily uncomfortable for the belayer for seemingly no reason. Other mega gyms do not do this and remain insured.

Consider having some easier lead routes. How do you expect folks to learn to lead when your easiest route is a 5.10a or a 5.9 and you make them take a lead test on a 5.10a? It is possible to be a very safe moderate lead climber. It feels as if your gym is trying to be a bit pretentious and elitist which is the opposite of the vibe I want in my gym. The entire gym feels more like it's focused on comp climbing for out of staters than for the actual people that live here.
Deborah Diaz (4/13/25, 6:31 PM):
We hosted a private event at Vertical View for 140 guests. The team members were incredibly helpful and friendly. There were plenty of activities to enjoy besides climbing that catered to all ages. I would highly recommend this experience for family get-togethers.
Kevin Perez (4/13/25, 6:10 AM):
A splendid climbing gym, it is! Countless routes of varying difficulties, all clearly labeled. The shoes and harnesses were in top-notch condition. The staff were exceedingly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The facility itself is truly impressive! Auto belaying contraptions on most walls, a party space, even a yoga studio. It has everything one could desire. Quite the challenge indeed. My forearms are feeling the burn! I wholeheartedly endorse this establishment!
Willie Watson (4/8/25, 10:21 AM):
Vertical View is a splendid gym with a delightful staff. I mainly frequent it for the towering 65ft climbing walls, but have also dabbled in yoga classes here. The fitness area is well-equipped and top-notch. And how about that party room with climbing walls available for rent? Absolutely smashing! Their midday pass for $40 a month is a cracking deal, I must say.
Rachel Robinson (4/8/25, 2:45 AM):
I met my husband at this rock climbing gym and we just recently tied the knot. The facility is top-notch and a lot of fun! The place itself is absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone. You not only make great friends here but apparently life partners too! Thanks Vertical View
