G1 is the finest climbing gym in the Front Range, I must say! The route setting is top-notch with some splendid long routes. I make it a point to visit twice a week, and without fail, there are brand new routes every single time I drop by. This ensures there's always something exciting and fresh to tackle. Moreover, in terms of air quality and facilities, it's hands down the most sanitary gym in the vicinity.
Noah Baker (4/29/25, 3:19 PM):
This climbing gym is simply fantastic! I love the impeccable maintenance and the tight-knit community vibe. It definitely stands out as more modern compared to other gyms in the Front Range area.
Harper Walker (4/29/25, 5:49 AM):
Brilliant climbing gym, they organize loads of community events and the staff are just fantastic and so welcoming. The climbs are top-notch and the atmosphere is spotlessly clean!

Top-notch gym with a real community vibe. Established by a Colorado local whose impact on the climbing scene reaches far beyond this spot. Impeccably maintained, with a staff that's not just friendly but wonderfully so. Climbing here is a solid 5.fun on nearly every route you lay hands on. The walls here soar higher than any others in the area. The coaches are a font of knowledge and keen to tailor your training to your needs. And let's not forget the fab yoga sessions included in your membership. Thumbs up from me.

*Fast forward 3 years. Still proudly a member. And my original review? Still stands strong. Simply the finest gym in town. 👍

G1 is a cracking climbing gym, it's actually me top pick!
Chloe Powell (4/25/25, 8:11 PM):
I can't emphasize enough how great this gym is. Trying out a new activity or going to a new place can be daunting, but the staff here are truly amazing and make you feel incredibly welcome. The climbing routes are fantastic, the autobelay feature is outstanding for climbing solo, and the facility itself is impeccable and spotless. We held our son's 7th birthday party here and it was absolutely perfect. They have a party room adjacent to a section of the gym, and we had that whole area to ourselves for the kids to climb to their heart's content. The two staff members who assisted with belaying were exceptionally patient and kind, helping the kids tackle any route they set their sights on. I will definitely be returning and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone!
Ava Davis (4/24/25, 5:09 PM):
I've been coming here for years now! This is my top pick for a front range gym. The gym is spotless and brand new. Jason, the owner, is delightful, and it's great to climb at a gym owned by a small business.

The atmosphere here is absolutely fantastic when it comes to the folks and the culture. Some other gyms in the area can feel a bit elitist, but G1 definitely does not have that vibe.
Angela Gonzales (4/24/25, 8:14 AM):
Top-notch gym, I must say! Tidy as can be, the staff is lovely, tons of climbing routes even when it's bustling, and the best part is the routes are a blast and get refreshed regularly! The complimentary yoga sessions are also spot on. A perfect 10/10 in my book.
Lauren Phillips (4/17/25, 5:42 PM):
This gym is absolutely brilliant in so many ways, mate.

Community: My partner and I just landed here about six weeks back without knowing a soul around. I wouldn't say we've found best mates just yet, but Jeff and his crew at G1 have fostered a right social vibe with different meet-ups each week. There's a general climber meetup, a women's meetup, and a queer climbers meetup. The team pairs you up based on your climbing preferences, and so far, everyone's been top-notch. We're especially looking forward to the roped league kicking off soon. Jeff's always checking in on everyone, friendly as can be and never without a smile. He also suggested the Gym to Crag class, a one-day indoor/one-day outdoor course to help ease the transition from gym to outdoor climbing. We gave it a go and now feel way more confident about outdoor climbing. Big thanks to Andrew at Denver Mountain Guiding for leading the class.

Facilities: It's the only gym we've tried in the area, but I've brought a couple of friends who've climbed elsewhere and they were well impressed. I've heard the walls are some of the tallest around, and we've been loving the route-setting too. We're both hovering around v5 level, but even the v2-v3 routes are a blast because the setting is super inventive and engaging. They also offer yoga classes, and though I'm not much of a yogi myself, can't complain about it either. They've got a fitness gym area, moon boards, and basically everything you could ask for in a modern climbing gym.

Crowds: Weekday evenings can get a bit hectic, but compared to the massive city gyms we're used to, it's really not too bad. Weekends and early evenings are usually pretty relaxed as well. You don't have to squeeze into some crazy time slot to have a good session.

All in all, a cracking gym, highly recommend it. Oh, and you might just spot some pro climbers absolutely smashing it, which is always a good laugh.

I made the switch to G1 about 6 months back, and I must say, I'm absolutely loving it here! The community nights are just fantastic, the boulder and roped/lead routes are always a blast with their innovative movements. And let me tell you about Morgan's Yoga classes - they're packed with enjoyable challenges, not to mention the post-class snacks are simply delectable. Just the kind of yoga experience I've been searching for.
