Today, it really struck me how reluctant some employees are to enforce their own rules.

I was on the stair master when - let's say her name was Karen - joined me. She began having a lengthy phone conversation.

Not wanting to interrupt my workout, I opened the app and said, "Excuse me, but phone calls are not permitted here."

"Why?" she responded, reaching peak Karen-level anger as if I was challenging her entitled sense of control.

"It is clearly stated in the gym policies," I explained.

"Why should I care about that?" she retorted, as if I was there to explain every policy on the planet.

"It's right there in the policies - would you like me to call a staff member?" I asked.

Soon after, a staff member approached and Karen inquired about the issue. The staff member proceeded to apologize profusely to Karen, expressing regret and apologizing for enforcing the rules.

I couldn't help but notice that no one apologized to me for the disruption, and when I mentioned this, I was threatened with expulsion.

If you find yourself having to apologize for simply doing your job, you probably don't want to do it, and will go out of your way to avoid it.

I've been coming to this place for a couple of months and let me tell you, the staff is super friendly, the gym is spotless, and they've got a great selection of machines and equipment. And all of that for just 10 bucks a month? You can't beat it!

They really know their stuff and provided top-notch customer service. I'm delighted to have met them and they truly reflect well on the establishment. It was still pretty good, but the change in hours is BLOODY AWFUL. Closing at 8pm on the weekends is incredibly inconvenient and frustrating.

This gym is just spotless, and the staff are absolutely lovely. There's this one fella in particular who I reckon deserves a shoutout because he's just so helpful. Goes by the name of Chris, he does. Very neat and tidy. Brand new, top-notch equipment. Nonetheless, no classes, pool, basketball court, etc. Perfect no-frills gym for individuals seeking solely equipment to exercise. Often not too crowded and readily available weights and machines without queues. Excellent bang for your buck. With 2500 locations, ideal for frequent travelers.

Oh jolly good, what a splendid new gym! The spa area is simply delightful and well worth the extra cost. Since it's a new spot, I've not seen it too crowded yet. The staff were ever so friendly and helpful. Can't wait to get cracking with my workouts here!

It all began wonderfully, but things have taken a turn for the worse with the location. The management is unresponsive and the front desk is frequently unattended, preventing access to Black Card perks. There are definitely better choices out there than this gym.
