Discovering Life Time Fitness in Centennial, Colorado

Life Time Fitness in Centennial, Colorado, stands out as a premier destination for fitness enthusiasts and families alike. With an array of amenities, this gym offers something for everyone, from advanced fitness machinery to recreational options.

A Thriving Atmosphere

Upon entering Life Time Fitness, members are greeted with a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The facility boasts a basketball court and a tennis court, providing ample opportunities for both casual players and competitive athletes. The spacious layout encourages interaction, making it easy to meet fellow fitness lovers.

Online Classes and Extensive Amenities

One of the standout features of Life Time Fitness is their selection of online classes. These classes range from yoga to high-intensity interval training, ensuring that all fitness levels can find a suitable option. Additionally, various amenities, such as the sauna, steam room, and outdoor services, create an unparalleled wellness experience.

On-Site Services and Child Care

For parents, the on-site child care services are a game changer. Members can utilize a safe environment where their children can engage in fun activities while they focus on their workouts. The wheelchair-accessible entrance ensures that all facilities are inclusive, enhancing accessibility for every member.

Concerns About Crowding and Maintenance

Despite its many advantages, some criticisms have arisen regarding the crowds and maintenance issues. Many users feel that the number of memberships should be restricted to alleviate overcrowding during peak hours. Issues like low water pressure in showers and the cleanliness of locker rooms have also been noted as areas needing attention.

Membership Requirements and Service Options

Membership is required to access all that Life Time Fitness offers. While the price may seem steep, many members believe the quality justifies it. However, high prices combined with limited availability can lead to frustration, especially when more amenities, such as basketball courts, are converted for other uses.

Experiences to Note

Patrons highlight the professionalism of trainers like Anastasiia, who deliver customized workout experiences, ensuring each individual meets their fitness goals safely. Positive experiences with staff have contributed to a sense of community within the gym. Yet, there have been calls for improved communication and customer service, particularly concerning account issues or inquiries.

Final Thoughts

Life Time Fitness in Centennial, CO, is undoubtedly a top-tier fitness facility with extensive services and a vibrant community. While it excels in offering diverse amenities and classes, improvements in management and facility maintenance could elevate the experience even further. The aquatics team at this gym are just shocking, I must say. It's an absolute travesty. No management to be found on the weekends, so you're left dealing with teenagers who have the audacity to call you "sweetie" and argue with you in front of your little ones. And to top it all off, there's no effort made to keep unwanted visitors out of the family dressing rooms. You'll find sweaty men and male lifeguards using it as a shortcut while your children are trying to get changed.

I've been a member of Lifetime since 2018, but let me tell you, the Centennial location is the most undiplomatic and unprofessional gym I've ever set foot in. It's an absolute disgrace, I tell you.

Superb gym! I joined in September 2017 and was a member for a few moons. I managed to terminate my membership sans fee, simply had to pop in and scribble on a form. I bid adieu due to not frequenting as much as desired. However, I thoroughly savored the Cycling classes! When I engaged in solo workouts, I'd stroll in around 8 p.m. and was gratified to find it sparsely populated at that hour. Utilized the childcare services for my wee one, and it appeared he relished his time there; clean and orderly environment. The caretakers may not have exuded an innate passion for children, but they got the job done. We forked out $140 per month for 2 grown-ups and a bambino (inclusive of childcare).

Lifetime is a splendid gym with top-notch facilities. The standout feature for my family is the children's center. My little ones thoroughly enjoy their time at the gym playing and attending classes. The staff ensures they feel at ease and they always have a blast. The programs for young kids are excellent and have shown marked improvement over the past 9 months. Recently, my daughters participated in a ballet and tap program, culminating in a delightful recital to demonstrate their newfound skills. The event was meticulously organized and a joy for all of us!

I've only been coming to this gym for a couple of months and I absolutely love it! Huge shoutout to Gwen D. She's an amazing trainer! The gym is spotless and well-maintained. The group classes are fantastic too! The locker room is spacious, super clean, and has a sauna! The childcare services are excellent and offer a variety of activities for kids. Plus, the cafe serves delicious smoothies and healthy food options.
Jeremy Sanders (6/8/25, 12:46 AM):
We recently became members of Lifetime Fitness and I truly wish I had joined earlier! The kids club and infant care services are absolutely amazing. In particular, Emily and Cassandra have both done an outstanding job looking after my children (aged 5, 2 1/2, and 5 months) while I work out or swim with one or two of the kids.

On a few occasions, the older ones were hesitant to leave me, but Emily would interact with them and make the transition easier by making it fun. Her positive attitude and ability to engage with the kids are truly commendable.

Cassandra has taken excellent care of my infant, and both of them are incredibly valuable employees!

Lifetime is a grand, opulent, and impeccably maintained gym. It offers an abundance of weight apparatus and a plethora of other amenities such as a sauna/steam room, tennis courts, a pool, fitness classes, and childcare facilities.
Arthur Gray (6/7/25, 7:56 AM):
Absolutely brilliant classes with top-notch coaches. I was stuck in a bit of a rut with one particular class, and there are loads to choose from here. They're quite challenging! And scheduling is an absolute breeze!
Ronald Peterson (6/1/25, 9:58 PM):
Undoubtedly one of the finest gyms in the Denver region. It offers a plethora of benefits to its members! The facilities are superb regardless of your workout preferences. The establishment is spotless, the personnel are consistently amiable and cordial. The personal training team is exceedingly well-informed and enthusiastic about addressing queries. I wholeheartedly endorse this gym to all!
Rebecca Rogers (6/1/25, 9:22 AM):
The Kid's Club at this gym is absolutely worth every penny. The staff are fantastic with our two little ones. They even offer parent's nights out, which is a great bonus. The adult classes are top-notch and the pool is simply fabulous. I give it two thumbs up!
Brian Turner (5/30/25, 11:59 AM):
I do say, I must say this gym is a right ol' mess. I'd give it a solid zero stars if I could. They've oversold their memberships, and the weight area is constantly jam-packed no matter the time of day. The personal trainers are dreadfully rude and have no consideration for other members. And let me tell you, the layout of the gym is just nonsensical. They've got those Alpha classes and their HIIT sessions right smack in the middle of everything, making it quite the bother to work around them. There's no clear path to walk through either, so you're constantly dodging and weaving to get from one place to another. It's an absolute travesty, I tell you!
Sophia Hughes (5/29/25, 1:08 PM):
Absolutely adore the whole tennis club experience. The lessons are fantastic, the pros are top-notch, and the facility is superb. However, there's a bit of a snag with a certain lady at the front desk named Judy. She's consistently brusque and impolite towards patrons, myself included. It seems like everyone has voiced their grievances about her, but no action has been taken. Quite a shame, really, as she tarnishes an otherwise stellar customer service reputation for the club.
Megan Robinson (5/28/25, 6:48 PM):
For the past FEW WEEKS, the outdoor café next to the pool has been unable to accept credit card, Apple Pay, or cash payments. So, while you're outside by the pool in the 95-degree heat, getting a cold drink or anything else is out of the question. I have never encountered such an absurd situation. This must be the most poorly managed Life Time facility in the country. I will soon be terminating my membership and switching to the new Wheat Ridge Life Time. This one in Centennial is quite unfortunate.
Cynthia Long (5/28/25, 10:00 AM):
I was debating whether to join Lifetime Fitness for a while, as I was content with my small local gym membership. Eventually, circumstances pushed me to take the leap, and boy am I pleased that I did! The equipment is top-notch, the facility is spotless and well-organized, and the staff are helpful and welcoming. Gym environments can already be daunting, so having friendly staff is essential. I also adore the diverse range of group classes, especially the Team Classes led by Jess Kidd – she's phenomenal! Her workouts are demanding, enjoyable, and push me further than I would go on my own. Jess' expertise and knowledge are truly impressive!
Ella Torres (5/25/25, 11:02 PM):
I 'ave been a member in this establishment since they opened. I can't express enough good and positive things about it. From the front desk to the instructors such as Heidi, Joe, Stephanie, and Kim.
Thank you for each and every one of you for making life more beautiful.
Danielle Nguyen (5/25/25, 3:35 PM):
I absolutely adore this Gym! It's perpetually spotless, and the wonderful staff are always on hand for any queries or to assist in scheduling a fitness evaluation. I cannot fathom why the reviews below are so negative! I often take my four-year-old to the child center for a maximum of two hours. After completing my workout, I collect her and head over to the pool, which is specifically designed for children! Furthermore, I receive lifetime bucks which allowed me to acquire two complimentary personal training sessions... It's essential for people to log in online to discover all the fantastic amenities the club has to offer! I only pay $60 for both my membership and my child's membership - now, that's what I call a bargain!
Vincent Kim (5/24/25, 1:07 PM):
Dreadful experience, popped in to inquire about membership details and have a look around. Spoke to the chap at the reception... he just stared at me and asked, "What do you want to know?" No proactive information provided, I had to ask about everything. No tour, no explanation of the facilities. You'd expect with a hefty $179 monthly fee, they'd have a solid marketing/membership strategy in place. Now, I'm all for avoiding pushy sales tactics, but I don't appreciate feeling like a nuisance for expecting basic service. If customer service is that poor at the front desk, I shudder to think what it's like elsewhere in the establishment.
Jerry Watson (5/21/25, 1:05 PM):
I must say, revising my critique here on the 13th of July, as it turns out both jacuzzis have now been out of order for a whopping 21 days, a complete three weeks. The Lifetime locations in Cherry Creek or Westminster would simply never allow such a situation to persist without promptly rectifying one of the main highlights of the establishment. Lifetime previously justified its steep prices by offering round-the-clock access and positioning itself as the top-tier choice in the market. The Centennial branch is, however, a black mark on the reputation of the Lifetime brand. I am genuinely at a loss as to why I continue to shell out the amount I do for malfunctioning facilities, overcrowded spaces, and a staff that appears to be inadequately trained and downright impolite.
Emily Thomas (5/18/25, 12:39 AM):
So far, it's been 3 months, and I'm truly chuffed with my membership and the overall experience! Having the childcare center is a real game changer, and the amenities, in general, are fab! I must say, the locker rooms aren't always the cleanest & the Life Cafe has really dodgy service. On 3 occasions they've completely forgotten my family's orders. Apart from those little blips, the club is gorgeous and offers a lot to enjoy! However, given the price, I reckon customer service, particularly at the cafe (especially considering the cost of the food), could do with some improvement!
Jessica Gray (5/16/25, 9:29 PM):
Lifetime is a brilliant gym with top-notch facilities. The childcare service is what truly sets it apart, especially the camps and Parents Night Out programs. Without a doubt, it boasts the finest childcare compared to any other gym or establishment in the vicinity. The child center provides fantastic classes and offers flexible scheduling. The kids camp is unparalleled. Those workers deserve higher pay, as they are truly exceptional.
Christine Powell (5/16/25, 3:17 AM):
This gym is massive, with a wide range of equipment and even an indoor turf field. I was a member for 5 months before deciding to cancel my membership, all because of their mask policy. They have signs everywhere stating that their staff will remove you if you're not wearing your mask correctly, but they never follow through. Every time I work out, there are always multiple people not wearing masks at all, and the staff just walks by without saying anything. It's clear that they don't prioritize the well-being of their members, as they told me that if I didn't feel safe, I could leave.

If it weren't for the mask issue, I would have stayed as a member, but they are unwilling to enforce their own safety policies.
