Not typically jam-packed. The fruits and veggies aren't the freshest, but the prices are fair. The store layout is a tad peculiar, and you might struggle to locate certain staple items.
Anna Kim (5/1/25, 12:55 AM):
When I ventured into Weis Supermarkets, I found the prices to be decent but not quite on par with Giant's. Personally, I don't fret over whether a grocery store's prices are higher or lower than others. What truly makes a difference to me is the friendly atmosphere and the amiable staff.
Brenda Phillips (4/30/25, 9:25 PM):
A splendid spot for shopping, I must say. The store employees are always on hand to assist and provide support. Every time I've visited, they efficiently keep the queues moving. Truly, I prefer to do my grocery shopping there.
Ella Morgan (4/28/25, 3:19 PM):
The Customer Service individual was incredibly professional, courteous, pleasant, and helpful. I don't witness this caliber of service in other grocery stores. I'm inclined to explore Weis a bit further. I visited in the afternoon around 2:30 pm and completed my transaction at 3:10 pm.
Amanda Patterson (4/28/25, 1:21 PM):
The property manager will ring you up and have your motor towed if you're a commuter and the commuter car park is chock-a-block. That's not how a community should be treating each other, mate. I won't be backing that shopping centre again, no siree.
Joan Rodriguez (4/28/25, 12:37 AM):
The staff were ever so friendly and eager to lend a hand. Come Thursdays, they extend a discount to our military personnel and those 55 years and older, which is just splendid!
Gary James (4/27/25, 10:38 AM):
Brilliant store. Top-notch employees. I've known many of them for a good few years now, and they're like family to me.
Kelly Cox (4/26/25, 10:52 PM):
The only issue is that they are transitioning to more or mostly self-checkout. So fewer manned registers but no discounts offered to the customer. Right... Less service, same price? Yup, that's wise, right?
Wasn't expecting that, hands full and in a hurry. Surprise, had to wait for a register to open, then learning something new all the while in a hurry.
I think I'll go elsewhere for the near future!
By the way, the deli isn't really a deli. They call themselves a deli but don't make sandwiches. What's up with that? A southern Maryland thing? Oh well.
Carol Anderson (4/25/25, 4:03 PM):
Clean and well-stocked. Seems a tad pricier than Food Lion, but that's to be expected. They had everything I needed.
Alexander Martinez (4/25/25, 2:18 AM):
This store is always spick and span, offers fantastic bargains, and boasts a remarkably helpful team of staff. I never catch them grumbling in the aisles or about their work. What really stands out is when there's a team huddle, they all pause with a grin and genuinely inquire if you require any assistance. I truly value them and purposely venture beyond nearer grocery stores to support them. 😎 And to top it off, they stock Primo water!!!
Robert Ortiz (4/24/25, 2:14 AM):
The new Weis is quite fancy, offering a wide variety of gourmet food options to choose from. It's great to have a grocery store in that area, especially since there aren't any other choices available.
John Reyes (4/24/25, 12:24 AM):
Weis be a right proper grocery store, I tell ya. They do have a wide selection of alternative food options unlike the usual Safeway and Giant. It would be grand if Weis were within walkin' distance instead of Safeway, wouldn't it now?
Rebecca Gonzales (4/23/25, 9:10 PM):
The prices are brilliant and their rotisserie chicken is top-notch, no doubt about it! My only niggles have been that they don't have a wide selection of quality produce and they don't stock everything I usually look for in the more popular grocery stores.
Alan Jenkins (4/22/25, 12:26 AM):
The Alamo remains top-notch with its impeccable COVID adaptations. The exclusive cinema bookings provide an exceptional experience. Having the entire room just for your group is absolutely worth it! Food and drink requests are taken upon arrival to ensure freshness. Relax and savor the show!
Nicole Murphy (4/19/25, 2:52 AM):
The staff were ever so kind and helpful. The store was tidy and well-arranged. A splendid selection of fresh produce, I must say.
Grace Adams (4/18/25, 5:07 PM):
First time poppin' into the store, they 'ave top-notch prices! I'll be sure to swing by there first next time I'm nearby for me grocery haul.
Brandon Morris (4/18/25, 2:44 PM):
My local grocer's, I absolutely adore it. The tunes they play are top-notch and the customer service is always spot on. The patrons are quite regular as well.
Cheryl Edwards (4/18/25, 11:49 AM):
Top-notch grocery store with some proper bargains on the essentials, I must say.
Frank Mitchell (4/18/25, 4:54 AM):
We always have a splendid shopping experience at Weis Markets in Accokeek. Brian and Cindy in the Meat Department are truly helpful and do a fantastic job. The fresh meats selection is top-notch. The store's cleanliness, organization, and the friendliness of the staff are impressive, so hats off to management Ava and Stephen. There are fantastic deals in the bakery and produce departments. Most recently, DeWayne went the extra mile to help us with our self-checkout. Thank you to the WEIS TEAM for all your hard work and for your ongoing support to the community!
Willie Sanchez (4/17/25, 6:36 PM):
I am a 75-year-old senior who uses a cane. Earlier today, I bought some items at the store. When I got home and looked at my receipt, I noticed that they had charged me a different price than what was marked on the shelf. I called the store to explain the issue, and the man I spoke to told me to come back in so he could refund my money.

When I arrived at the store and went to the customer service line, a young lady named Donna was very rude. I stood there with my cane while she checked out about five other people, making me wait and wait to be served. Finally, when it was my turn, I explained the problem. My daughter then went to check the price of the aluminum foil, and it was indeed the same as what I had seen on the shelf. Donna went to check and eventually removed the extra charge, but she acted like I was crazy. Her behavior was very disrespectful, and I will not recommend their customer service.
