Welcome to Addison Park District Club Fitness

The Addison Park District Club Fitness in Addison, Illinois offers a fantastic range of amenities designed to cater to a diverse array of fitness enthusiasts. Their commitment to accessibility is evident with features like a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible car park, ensuring that all individuals can enjoy their facilities without barriers.

Inclusive Facilities for All Members

This gym takes inclusivity seriously, boasting gender-neutral toilets and a variety of sports facilities including a tennis court and a basketball court. These amenities not only enhance the overall experience but also promote a sense of community among members.

Membership Requirements and Amenities

To access all these fantastic benefits, a membership is required. Members can enjoy various amenities such as a well-equipped gym, an indoor pool, a sauna, and an outdoor activity area. However, some members have expressed concerns about new policies that detract from the gym experience, such as restrictions on bringing gym bags for personal equipment. Feedback suggests that this has particularly affected those needing specific rehabilitation tools.

Planning Your Visit

When planning your visit, it’s essential to be aware of facility accessibility, especially regarding the “PIT”, a recently popularized area for functional training. Unfortunately, access to the PIT has been limited during peak hours, frustrating members who rely on it for their workouts. Maintaining open hours or facilitating better scheduling could improve member satisfaction.

Current Member Experiences

While many appreciate the cleanliness and layout of the fitness center, there are mixed feelings about staff interactions. Some users have reported unprofessional behavior from certain employees, which has negatively impacted their overall experiences. Positive remarks are often directed towards the friendly atmosphere created by other staff members and trainers, especially those involved in leading classes.

Conclusion

Despite some operational challenges, the Addison Park District Club Fitness remains a valuable resource for the community. Its emphasis on accessibility, various amenities, and commitment to inclusivity make it a commendable choice for individuals looking to embark on their fitness journey. With ongoing improvements and member feedback, this facility has the potential to evolve into an even greater hub for health and wellness.

This establishment is dreadful. The personnel are not up to par professionally. They lack etiquette and struggle to engage with patrons. I would never endorse this gym to anyone. Take your patronage to a reputable facility. This place is not a worthwhile investment.
Kenneth Cox (5/20/25, 8:29 PM):
Oh, I really fancy the indoor track at the gym. It's perfect for a leisurely walk or a brisk run, with plenty of windows offering views of the outdoors. It's usually not too crowded, which is a plus. The second floor is amazing for overlooking the open grass areas, and there are often many summer events and activities happening nearby for several blocks.
Kelly Campbell (5/19/25, 8:21 PM):
Great facilities, mate. The trails outside are top-notch for a stroll on sunny days. Cheers!
Mia Brooks (5/18/25, 7:45 PM):

This gym is fantastic, I'll be signing up for a membership with my family for sure. The employees are so friendly and helpful, top-notch service! 👍
Richard Allen (5/12/25, 2:07 PM):
Absolutely thrilled with my neighborhood park district. They're on board with my Aetna insurance wellness scheme. The fitness class instructors are seasoned pros, top-notch motivators. Plus, they've got Athletico physical therapy on-site. Loads of machines to choose from, along with a walking track. We're truly lucky to have this gem in our town.
Sharon Adams (5/12/25, 8:18 AM):
I really like the gym. I particularly enjoy the family swim sessions and appreciate the daycare services. There are plenty of activities for the kids, which is great!

During the pandemic, I had to make the switch to this gym... and let me tell you, it was the best decision ever! Absolutely loving it here!

Absolutely adore this gym! The trainers are absolutely brilliant if you're after a top-notch workout.

Just can't get enough of the P.I.T. sessions lately. Frank really pushes us to our limits, and every workout is a new challenge!

For anyone wanting to get fitter and stronger, this place is a must-try, without a doubt!

This establishment boasts a wide array of workout equipment, a fantastic lap pool, as well as a dedicated walking and running track. The staff is incredibly helpful and courteous, making for a top-notch fitness experience.
Alan Gomez (5/5/25, 8:53 PM):
The highlight of this place is definitely the pool. However, the current renovation work that has temporarily shut down the pool has been delayed for weeks with no recent updates on their website. They manage to avoid a one-star rating thanks to their welcoming environment and pleasant indoor track. That being said, you might want to explore other options depending on your requirements.
Mary Adams (4/24/25, 7:56 AM):
Family-friendly fitness. Fantastic aqua classes - would be great to have more morning classes added. I really appreciate being able to use the entire pool, including the lanes, during the pandemic.
Raymond Morales (4/21/25, 5:14 PM):
Fantastic customer service, absolutely top-notch!
Kyle Hall (4/20/25, 12:09 PM):
Frank down at the gym is absolutely fantastic!
Bradley Taylor (4/19/25, 8:50 AM):
I've been a loyal member of Centennial Gym for over 12 years, but lately I've noticed that they're falling behind compared to the newer gyms in the area. The gym's facilities seem outdated and I can't help but feel disappointed. It's frustrating that they limit members to just one small and old towel per visit. Despite investing in renovations, they still skimp on basic amenities like towels. After a workout, all I want is to enjoy the steam room with a clean towel to protect myself from germs, and then have another towel for a post-shower. Many other gyms have embraced modern fitness standards, and it's a shame that Centennial hasn't kept up. Regrettably, after 12+ years, I've decided to part ways with Centennial for good.
