I absolutely adore Recharge. The DPTs there are so helpful in adjusting your workouts based on any soreness or injuries you may have. They are so supportive, just like the entire Misfits crew. Everyone at the gym is welcomed no matter where they are on their fitness journey. There is no judgment here, only cheers and motivation. The gym isn't huge, which I believe fosters the sense of camaraderie and positivity that I've experienced. What I love the most is that I'm now completely hooked. The workouts are diverse and customized to your abilities. Plus, you get a one-on-one session with a physical therapist every month, which is fantastic. If you've been on the fence about joining a gym, give Recharge a shot. Age is not a barrier here. They offer traditional workouts as well as ones tailored for seniors, so there really is something for everyone. I'm 68 years old and I do their regular workouts three times a week. If I can do it, so can you :)

Recharge physical therapy offers a fantastic environment for physical therapy and exercise. I was lucky enough to attend a movement analysis course led by Ryan Smith. His knowledge of movement is top-notch, allowing him to assist individuals in enhancing their movement patterns to reduce pain and avoid injuries during exercise. In the class, I tried my first crossfit workout, which was a blast and emphasized teamwork with fellow participants.
All in all, it was an amazing experience.

It's been a wee bit over a year since I've joined Recharge, and I'd like to share 3 things I've learned:
1. Anybody can move: whatever limiting beliefs ye may have about yer fitness level, physical abilities, or health limitations, know that there is some type of physical activity that ye can safely do. The coaches/PTs at Recharge will meet ye where ye are, and work with ye to safely improve yer fitness level and reach whatever goals ye have.
2. Movement is, indeed, medicine - check out Recharge's podcast and YouTube channel Movement is Medicine. Tons of useful information, and ye get to "meet" the 3 physio coaches (ye get a glimpse of how amazing they are as professionals and as human beings).
3. Working out can be fun, and it's best when it's done within a community, like the wonderful one Recharge has built around it.
I am grateful to have found them and I have no doubt I'll continue to grow stronger and fitter here.

However, after discovering RECHARGE and delving into their approach and services, I found exactly what I was looking for. The SENIOR STRONG class seemed tailored to my needs and preferences, even more so than a traditional pilates class. It has proven to be a fantastic decision!
