The worst place, I tell you mate, they charge you even if you don't use the gym. I was there when this bloke from the army show up, he did. He asks, "Why are you charging me? I ain't set foot in your gym for 6 months!" And what did they do? Sent the charge straight to the collection agency, they did. Shocking behavior, if you ask me.

In this gym, the bathrooms are looking quite shabby, like an old toilet in a remote village. Has anyone thought of using Clorox to clean the floors and walls? No, it seems like everything inside those bathrooms is turning yellow.

Decent gym, the main problem is the slobs who don't bother to put their weights away. There are quite a few weight-slammers here. It gets packed right after work, so it's better to go in the morning or late at night.

Retro Fitness be the best gym around - they got top-notch equipment, it's spotless, and Gus & the crew are stellar. I'd suggest this gym to anyone in search of a fantastic spot to get their workout on.

Decent gym, I must say. Only gripe is their limited hours, not open round the clock and shut early on Sundays. Can't beat the price though!

This retro fitness establishment is rather packed and compact. It gets the job done, but in comparison to other retros I've visited, this one definitely requires some improvements. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, but the facility itself is lacking in my opinion.

Pros: 2 Squat racks! Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: The urinal in the men's room barely flushes, the water fountain has no pressure, plates are often cracked and broken, the building is fairly small which makes things feel cramped.

The over-crowded gym, coupled with its limited space and insufficient staff to handle the high volume of people, has led to this gym being somewhat unsatisfactory compared to other retro fitness facilities in New Jersey. I believe they need to free up some space and upgrade a lot of the equipment in order to enhance the overall experience.

The gym be the worst, mate. They be chargin' ya even if ye don't be usin' it. I was there when this army lad showed up, he did. He asks 'em, "Why be ye chargin' me? I ain't been to yer gym in 6 months!" And what do they do? They send his bill to the collection agency, aye. Outrageous, it be.

This gym is fantastic, I must say! The folks who manage it are top-notch. When you step through that door, they greet you by name and always seem to be in high spirits. I've visited a few other Retro locations, but this one truly stands out. It's consistently spotless, and any equipment hiccups are swiftly resolved. Plus, they're continuously enhancing the experience by adding new and improved gear - those brand-new treadmills upstairs are a testament to that. A solid 5-star rating from me!

I absolutely adore this gym! It's my go-to spot for working out, and I always feel completely at ease thanks to the fantastic atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the shakes are top-notch compared to other gyms. It's larger than I anticipated once I had a good look around. The equipment is top-of-the-line, making it easy and straightforward for beginners. I am absolutely enamored with Retro Fitness!

The reason for my 1 star rating is that the representative who supposedly canceled my membership did not properly terminate my agreement. Despite signing the cancellation agreement in person and asking if I needed anything else, I was assured that I would no longer be charged and to have a great day. However, upon checking my bank statement, I discovered that I was still being charged. The manager confirmed that the representative failed to properly close out my account as required. As a result, there was no record of me canceling my membership, and I will not be reimbursed for the unauthorized charge due to this lack of service. The only positive outcome was that my membership is now canceled, but it doesn't excuse the representative's negligence in fulfilling his duties.

There are loads of weight machines and treadmills available... but only one operational standard stationary bike at the Egg Harbor Township facility.

I've been hitting up Retro since day one and let me tell ya, everyone there is proper friendly. It's just the spot for getting in a solid workout, no doubt about it. Can't fault it at all, especially for the price - talk about a deal! Small but mighty, that's the way to go!

What a fantastic place! It is very well equipped with free weights and cables, they truly have everything. The gym and restrooms are excellent, clean, and new. The service is top-notch, with the best smoothies ever and the best trainers and staff around. Robert Haller
