They are a decent gym with knowledgeable coaches but the financial aspect is quite sketchy. The contract, the way the coaches persuade you not to cancel, and the fact that they continue to charge you two more times after cancellation. Had to downgrade from a 5-star rating due to this nonsense.

There's not much point in offering a trial membership if the staff decide to bugger off for an hour during working hours and leave the bloody door locked :(

Absolutely dreadful customer service. My lad popped in for a "tour" appointment and was promptly requested credit card information to join their services. No one bothered to explain what they provide or offered to show him around. When I rang back, Rebecca was terribly discourteous and refused to converse with me, instead handing the phone back to my son. It appears they are not in need of my funds. Indeed, we've decided to sign up with Snap Fitness today. Cheers, mate!

I've been a member of Anytime Fitness for about 2 years now. After finishing an 18-month contract, I was convinced to switch to a month-to-month agreement until I was ready to move on, with the assurance that I could cancel at any time. I submitted a cancellation request and signed a form two months ago. However, I was charged one month later and struggled to get in touch with the office to understand why. It turns out that you need to cancel 30 days prior, which I wasn't aware of. Another month passed, and I was charged again. This time, I was able to speak to someone who explained that there is a draft date that starts 3 days before the actual charge, leading to two additional months of charges after cancellation.

Lesson learned: it's better to stick with your contract and move on to avoid dealing with unexpected charges like this. Despite being a long-standing member, I received no customer service support. Two months of charges for a service I didn't use at all. My advice is to pay a bit more for a gym with much better quality. As someone who works out at least 5 days a week, I regret not switching to my current gym sooner. I hope this review helps others avoid losing money and the hassle that comes with it.
