I absolutely adore the array of diverse classes available at this establishment. Dance fitness and body pump are my personal favourites. The group classes offer flexible schedules, which is a feature I particularly appreciate about Club 4.

As a former worker at Club 4 Fitness in Lafayette, I usually don't write reviews, but it's time to shed some light on a few things. I'm at the gym Monday to Friday from 3:30-6:00 AM. I have a jam-packed schedule, and these are the only times I can hit the gym daily. I meticulously plan out my day, so when I'm at the front desk at 5:10 AM asking for a tanning bed, it's because that's the only window I have to use a facility I pay for. If your employee isn't there or is busy elsewhere at 5 AM, like refilling paper towel holders, it's inconvenient. The fix: have two front desk employees at 5 AM. It's a big corporation; pay your staff to be there, or you might lose members. Also, please ensure the tanning beds, for which I pay and wait, stay shut. I spend the entire 15 minutes holding the cover closed to ensure it stays shut! Sort it out, Club 4!

I wouldn't recommend this gym at all. If you're a member, they make you go through a ton of hoops just to cancel your membership. And to top it off, they'll still charge you for an extra month if you do manage to cancel.

I've decided to switch to Red's Gym. It's a bit pricier than Club4, but it's totally worth it.

The staff is lovely, but the equipment could use some improvements. Some of the Cybex/LifeFitness machines have wobbly seats and seat backs, which can be a safety concern.

There are loads of folks milling about all the time. Nonetheless, I reckon it deserves 4 stars since I can squeeze in a workout amidst the crowd having a natter. Top-notch gym and the management is spot on, in my humble opinion.

This establishment is a FRAUD!
They target university students,
individuals who are new to the area,
I terminated my agreement with them,
they reassured me everything was fine, only to suddenly reopen my account and continue charging me monthly,

I have called numerous times since then, canceled my card,
They persist in their attempts to collect money!!!

After an extended period of silence from this company, I unexpectedly received a notification in the mail from a DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY seeking $224 from me!!!?

Upon contacting the Legal team, they had the audacity to claim “it’s your fault for not reading the contract”

Shouldn’t the gym be held accountable for failing to disclose this during the sign-up process?

This is simply a money-hungry corporation,
DO. NOT. SIGN. UP. UNLESS. YOU. WANT. TO. BE. SWINDLED. OUT. OF. YOUR. MONEY!!!!!!

My daughter joined the gym 3 years ago. We tried to cancel multiple times through the 888 number provided, but it was all automated and just kept going in circles. It seems you can sign up at the gym, but can't cancel your membership there. We had to stop the payment on her checking account, and then we received a letter from a lawyer in Utah regarding the money owed. I own three small businesses in Lafayette, and I would never treat my customers like this. Beware, you should look at their BBB report. I will be lodging a complaint with them and the FTC.

Camryn Thomas, one of the staff members, would rather hop on over to another location's Google review page and drop a shining review than confront the toxic gym vibe that's clearly being swept under the rug here. It's hard to believe this gym is handling things any better if the approach is to deceive and bury issues with management and staff conduct instead of confronting what's clearly tarnishing the franchise's image at a rapid pace. Way to keep up the facade, Camryn! (Sarcasm, by the way).

The kicker is her review touts "excellent personal training," which happens to be at the crux of the problem at the Lake Charles location: two pals (a car salesman and a real estate agent) getting their workout on together...until one gets banned and marked for "personal training" while the other sees their membership axed simply for some friendly workout advice.

I've been coming here for about a year now. I was searching for a gym that offered childcare services, and not only does this gym have one at an affordable rate, but the staff there are EXCEPTIONAL with the children. My daughter adores all the fun little gifts and activities they provide. As for the gym itself, the equipment is top-notch and the membership fee is very reasonable.

Not a reflection of the Lafayette location; but jolly good luck trying to cancel your membership. They give you a smashing corporate phone # to ring which has broken links. Never was able to be transferred to a live person to cancel. Cheers!

This establishment is absolutely dreadful. It's essentially a rip-off. A quick call to their corporate office reveals numerous hidden charges. Once you sign up for a membership, it's like being stuck in a labyrinth. They make it INCREDIBLY challenging to terminate your membership and coerce you into paying for the next month even when you try to cancel.
