Fabulous establishment, I must say! Such a plethora of weight machines and free weights! Without a doubt the finest gym in the RGV!

The staff is absolutely brilliant. The equipment is spotless and impeccably maintained. They've got a fantastic designated area just for the ladies. It's a fabulous spot to get your workout in, and the shakes are the cherry on top!
Julia Morris (4/6/25, 7:56 AM):
I absolutely adore making use of their pool, however, there are a couple of suggestions I believe they should consider. Firstly, it would be beneficial to install overhead flags to indicate to swimmers when they are approaching the edges on both sides, preventing any accidental collisions with the walls. Secondly, it might be wise to divide the pool into two sections; one for slower swimmers and the other for faster swimmers in the event that the pool is at full capacity, thus minimizing any potential conflicts amongst patrons.

Lovely revamped gym. So much room, so tidy at least when I pop in. 5am/8am 🦾🦾🦾
Adore the new freemotion treadmills. …
Brittany Mitchell (4/5/25, 7:51 PM):
Fantastic gym, lovely people. However, the rap and hard rock music played is simply dreadful, with disturbing lyrics.
David Bailey (4/4/25, 11:54 PM):
I've recently joined the gym about 2 and a half weeks ago, and since joining, I've felt fantastic. Every time I go, I feel welcomed, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend joining if you are serious about getting in shape and feeling comfortable while doing it. Great environment!
Lauren Henderson (4/4/25, 10:30 PM):
I found it online, and one of their representatives, Randy, was so helpful and thorough. He got me a fantastic price rate and I would recommend him to everyone!

Tidy gym.
Staff is helpful and friendly.
I appreciate the secluded ladies' workout area, which conveniently links to the pool, sauna, bathrooms, locker room, and showers. 💗...

Absolutely terrible policies, they are experts at taking money from people! After trying to cancel for over a year, they informed me that I would have to wait until the end of the year or pay a fee if I wanted to cancel now. So I patiently waited and kept paying without using their services at all. To my dismay, after a year had passed, they continued to charge me monthly, along with additional fees, because apparently, I had an automatic renewal policy that was never mentioned when I first tried to cancel. They make it very sneaky so you never stop paying them. Today, when I tried to cancel again, they told me I have to pay over $200 due to being 3 months past the contract year, plus fees. The worst part is that their supposed manager mentioned that they have many people just paying without ever setting foot in the gym. Absolutely dreadful place!
Doris Cruz (4/4/25, 10:30 AM):
Lovely spot. Neat and all the machines are in order. Open 24/7.
Danielle Morales (4/4/25, 6:40 AM):
I absolutely adore this spot! The ambiance is splendid, and there are tons of machines to get a proper workout in. The sauna is a personal favorite of mine. However, I must say, the young lad at the front desk always seems glued to his phone and somewhat put out when you ask for help. It's a bit of a downer and tarnishes the overall experience 🤔...
Mark James (4/4/25, 1:05 AM):
The women's section is too small compared to other locations. I am not satisfied since the other locations also have more machines inside the women's section than the Pharr location does. I believe that they should have the same because I am paying the same amount as those from the other locations. They should allow us as customers to use the other locations without a monthly charge, it seems like the company gives priority to other cities.
Gloria Ward (4/3/25, 7:35 PM):
The gym was quite compact and always bustling, making it tough to have a proper workout. It appears that some folks lack proper gym etiquette, often leaving dumbbells wherever is most convenient for them. Nonetheless, some exercise is better than none at all.
Melissa Russell (4/3/25, 7:24 PM):
The gym staff members are always so positive and outgoing, they really get you pumped up, especially those who work at night. The place is always clean, major props to those custodians who keep the showers sparkling. The workout machines are constantly clean and in working order. Thank you all for doing such an amazing job!
Ashley Myers (4/2/25, 2:56 AM):
Last week I approached Milo Gonzalez, one of the managers, with a request for the ladies' gym to be equipped with a set of bar weights. He promptly took care of the matter. I was delighted to find the weights ready for me to use during my workout. It's great to see that the feedback from members is appreciated. Thank you.
Eugene Fisher (4/1/25, 6:16 PM):
I popped in for a trial membership to give this gym a whirl. Bear in mind it's my first time here. I didn't receive a thorough tour of the gym, nor were the rules clearly laid out for me. The place itself is well-maintained, and most of the gym equipment seems to be in working order. However, I encountered an issue with a staff member named Kim. I asked her where I could find the bikes, and she let out a sigh, pointed upstairs, and swiftly walked off. Later on, when I sought her advice on something else, she curtly responded that since I wasn't a member, she couldn't assist me. I thanked her politely and retreated.
As I settled on the floor preparing for some deadlifts, she came over and instructed me to leave because she thought I was using chalk. In reality, I was just using a tool to tend to my calluses, but my explanation fell on deaf ears as she simply said, "Doesn't matter, you're not a member." I won't be joining a gym that doesn't cater to potential members properly. Their management leaves much to be desired. So, I opted for Pharr Crunch instead, where everyone is greeted with a smile, the facility is superior, and it's half the price.
William Peterson (4/1/25, 4:57 PM):
Why are they so pricey, I mean you stroll by from the exterior and it appears all posh, tempting you to step in. Once inside, you suddenly notice it's not as spacious as it seemed from outside, with not as many machines as other gyms, just seems generally overvalued for what's available indoors.
Grace Carter (4/1/25, 6:37 AM):
Brilliant gym. Just a quick stroll from my place, less than three minutes away. Top-notch equipment. Personally not too keen on the cardio setup upstairs. However, I do quite fancy their 50% off protein shakes offered daily from 1-3PM. Cheers!
Angela Thompson (3/31/25, 9:19 PM):
What a smashing atmosphere! The staff is ever so friendly, and the classes are top-notch. Every now and then a machine might be out of order, but the staff is quite good about sorting it out. The facility is always spick and span. The lockers are powered by batteries and let you input your own code, but a fair few of them have been flat for quite some time. Apart from that, jolly good experience overall! Cheers!
Emily Nelson (3/30/25, 1:10 PM):
Pharr gym is like my second home away from home, I absolutely love to work out there. All the staff are lovely and it's always spotless!
