I've been attending Prepare for Performance for roughly 3 months and I must say, I am quite pleased with it. The coaches really push me to give my all and I am able to truly concentrate on enhancing my speed and strength. I can already see a significant improvement, as can my basketball coach. My ability to move around the court and play defense has notably improved since I joined their summer program. I also feel more prepared for the upcoming fall field hockey season, which kicks off in a few weeks. I am confident that I will be quicker and more impactful on the field. My lad 'as been workin' out at Prepare For Performance (PFP) for the past couple of months, and 'e absolutely loves it! The program hones in on enhancin' speed, agility, and overall strength, and we've already begun to see results. 'E's so keen on it that 'e's convinced two mates to come along fer trainin', and 'e'd be there even more if 'is schedule allowed. The folks runnin' the place 'ave been top-notch, and it's clear they're invested in 'elpin' the young ones achieve their full potential. Julian is a total pro in every way. I approached him with some specific fitness goals in mind, and after an initial assessment, he dove right in. His knowledge is top-notch, and he tailors your workout plan to fit your individual needs and abilities. His group classes are tough but fun, and you never repeat the same workout twice.
If you're worried about any injuries or limitations, Julian can work around them while still pushing you to get the most out of your session. He's great at keeping in touch with his clients, always updating them on any changes to the schedule. You can easily reach him by phone or email with any questions or concerns. Julian truly cares about your progress and well-being.
The gym is super clean and well-organized, which is especially reassuring during these times. No need to worry about working out here – face masks are mandatory and equipment is sanitized frequently throughout the workout. Group sessions are limited to 5 or 6 people to ensure proper social distancing.

Oh, I must say, Prepare for Performance is absolutely fantastic! I simply adore being able to attend my workouts and having the certainty that by week's end, I will have completed a thorough full-body workout with some cardio mixed in. All I need to do is show up and give it my all. Julian, the brilliant mind behind it all and the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and devotes so much effort to curating unique daily workouts. I am constantly impressed by the variety of exercises he combines and how they target different areas of my body! And if I ever have any aches or pains, Julian always provides me with helpful advice, and if he can't solve it, he has excellent recommendations for someone who can assist. You can truly sense his passion and care for us.
While all the trainers are superb, I primarily work with Aubrey, who is truly exceptional! She is a delight to see first thing in the morning! With her fantastic energy, kindness, and knowledge, she is quick to correct my form and ensure I am challenging myself. She is simply a wonderful person! Moreover, the individuals in my classes form a fantastic community. The atmosphere is just wonderful all around.
As for the youth athlete group training: My 8-year-old son "enjoys the variety of drills and the element of surprise each day brings." I appreciate that from a young age, he is learning proper form, honing his speed and agility, and, most importantly, having fun throughout. He is developing strength and power that will benefit him on the soccer field and in the pool! The trainers are also incredibly encouraging and full of energy!

Having retired a year ago, I embarked on day 1 of retirement by enrolling in a 6-week initiation program at Prepare for Performance. Following this introductory experience, I promptly committed to a full membership, a decision I do not regret. Being an active older adult, my goal was to enhance my strength and muscle mass, and PFP has been instrumental in achieving this objective. The classes offered are diverse, with each day featuring a distinct workout, and the overall schedule is refreshed monthly. Each session prioritizes strength, power, and conditioning, presenting a challenging yet rewarding experience. Julian invests considerable effort into crafting innovative workouts that deliver results. I am a regular participant in the 11 AM class, led by the fantastic trainer Aubrey. She engages with every member, maintains a keen eye on form, and offers personalized modifications when needed. Aubrey exudes positivity and creates a supportive atmosphere. Beyond the exceptional workouts, PFP fosters a friendly, laid-back, and motivating setting. I have formed connections with fellow regular attendees, fostering a genuine sense of community. My teenage daughter has been going to Prepare for Performance (PFP) since June 2022. We initially decided to join based on a recommendation and started with general Strength & Conditioning training. Right from the start, we were all very impressed with the coaching staff, the equipment, and the personalized programs tailored to the specific sports being played.
During the summer of 2023, my daughter took part in Soccer Training with Christian. In her own words, "Christian really focuses on preparing you for your intended position, he dedicates a lot of time to technique, he's excellent at incorporating group sessions to maximize training, including 1v1 drills, and most importantly, he pushes you to work hard." My daughter typically trains 3-4 times a week, and if she had the chance, she would train multiple times a day at PFP!
As a parent of a teenager who doesn't drive, it's important to mention that Julian is incredibly flexible and accommodating when it comes to scheduling training sessions that work best for everyone. I've been at Prepare for Performance for 6 months now and I must say, it's been the best decision I've made in 2022. In the last half a year, I've shed 35 pounds, lost countless inches, and dropped more than 2 dress sizes. My body shape is transforming and I attribute it all to them. The victories I've achieved beyond the scale have been just as impressive - increased motivation, energy, and a more positive mindset.
Working with Christian over the past 6 months has been a fantastic journey. When I first started, I was out of shape, very stiff, and struggled with most workouts - I didn't really want to be there. Christian has been patient, kind, encouraging, and supportive all along. His ability to push me and keep me motivated has boosted my confidence at the gym, and every week I can see small but positive changes and improvements that are leading to bigger successes. And most importantly, I now eagerly await gym days and am not a fan of rest days!
Since day one, Julian, the owner, has been incredibly supportive and easy to collaborate with. He helped me set goals and came up with an action plan to achieve them. Any health, nutrition, fitness questions or concerns I've had were promptly and expertly addressed. It's clear that he's passionate about what he does and takes joy in seeing his clients thrive.
