I must say, I was quite looking forward to attending the complimentary yoga session at the Rockville Town Center today. The session was slated to take place between 10:00 and 11:00, however, after waiting for a good 20 minutes, there was still no sight of the instructor. I took it upon myself to inquire with the reception, only to be informed that the class had not been called off, yet no valid reason was provided for the absence of the instructor. It turned out to be quite a disappointment, as it ended up being a complete waste of my Sunday morning - both in terms of time and effort, not to mention the impact it had on my overall mood. If one cannot uphold a commitment, it's best not to make it in the first place.
Adam Hughes (6/10/25, 10:58 PM):
I absolutely adore the assortment of classes available at this gym. It's important for individuals to try out various trainers until they discover one that resonates with them, as each trainer brings a unique teaching and motivational style that enhances the class experience.
Jonathan Turner (6/9/25, 1:41 AM):
I totally fancy the ambiance with all the windows and the fact that it's spread across two levels, giving you versatile options to spice up your workouts. I particularly admire their inclusion of the Jacob's ladder machine and the skating machine, which are becoming a rarity in most gyms. The location is quite pleasant, not to mention the fantastic range of classes they offer. It's a bonus that they have garage parking available for those snowy days. Remember to get your parking ticket validated at the front desk, though you'll need to shift your car within a two-hour limit if you wish for an extended workout and grab a fresh ticket.
Helen Hamilton (6/8/25, 8:03 AM):
So, I was supposed to hit the gym bright and early at 5am, but here it is 7am and not a soul in sight. What's the deal, mate?
Jeffrey Anderson (6/4/25, 1:47 PM):
Amir is a proper stunner, innit?
Betty Rivera (6/2/25, 2:10 PM):
Tidy and immaculate. Juda was extremely helpful and supportive!
Bryan Phillips (5/29/25, 1:15 AM):
This gym is a complete disaster. There are no TVs working and the monitors on the treadmills are all out of order.
I attended a class on 8/15/23 with Instructor Lisa P, who was late and didn't have any other attendees. When I was leaving, she accused me of leaving trash (McDonald's cups filled with water) behind. I told her they weren't mine, and she didn't believe me at first. It's ridiculous - she saw me using the mat and weights, which I even put away properly. Why would I leave trash if it wasn't mine?
It's concerning that the instructor is also overweight, which doesn't inspire confidence in the gym's results.
Mia Brooks (5/27/25, 7:05 PM):
This gym could use a few improvements:
1) The music is quite dull. They seem to play the same tunes on repeat, which doesn't really get you pumped up for a good workout. It might be worth checking out other gyms to see what kind of music gets people motivated.
2) The smell in the men's locker room could definitely be better managed. The cleaners do a good job, but the lack of ventilation at the end of the building means odors can linger. If the locker room were designed differently to allow better air circulation, it could make a big difference.
3) It's a bit annoying when someone starts turning off lights and TVs well before closing time. It feels like they're trying to rush you out. Let the clock hit closing time before shutting things down.
4) The curtains in the men's shower area need some serious attention. They're starting to get moldy and could use a refresh. I'd even suggest installing plastic curtains or doors for better hygiene. And the showers themselves could probably use an upgrade too.
5) The staff should make sure to check the gym regularly to ensure equipment is being put back in its proper place. Some gym-goers don't seem to have much consideration and leave things lying around.
6) Some trainers could also do a better job of returning equipment after their sessions. It's a bit frustrating to see items left out for extended periods without being put back where they belong.
On the positive side:
1) The location is fantastic.
2) There's a good variety of equipment.
3) The gym is spacious.
These are just my honest thoughts and observations.
Gabriel Ortiz (5/27/25, 9:09 AM):
Despite the equipment not being brand new, it is well-kept. Crucially, the weights are organized and not scattered on the floor. This is noteworthy because I've been to other gyms where it's a struggle to find matching dumbbells, let alone walk without stumbling over misplaced weights.
I deducted one star only because there is still some rust and some of the equipment is slightly dated due to it being a smaller gym. Nevertheless, everything appeared to function properly.
There is complimentary parking for two hours, which is definitely a plus.
Mia Edwards (5/25/25, 5:14 PM):
The GYM is proper good, mate. But there's this employee with long hair at the reception who's dead rude, innit? No one fancies 'em, to be honest.
Bruce Parker (5/23/25, 2:32 AM):
It's rather warm in this establishment, even though it's only 67 degrees out today. I empathize with the local gym-goers who frequent this place. I typically do not visit this particular location, but the temperature is quite unbearable at the moment.
Ryan Edwards (5/21/25, 2:14 AM):
I was perfectly content with visiting this gym until I felt targeted by Mome. It seems that my early morning visits to the gym led her to assume I didn't belong there. Instead of offering an apology, she left me feeling unwelcome. Despite filing a report, I never received a follow-up call. As a result, I've decided to discontinue my visits to that gym, even though I continue to pay my membership fees.
Keith Edwards (5/19/25, 4:53 PM):
I've been hitting up that place for nearly a whole year now, and I must say, I'm absolutely loving it.
Emily Cruz (5/12/25, 3:17 PM):
Gym used to be fantastic pre-pandemic, but dealing with canceling my membership has turned into a real headache since the pandemic hit. My credit card keeps getting hit with unauthorized membership charges. Even though I followed the gym's cancellation policy to a T, they keep demanding payment for membership fees, and my calls and emails go unanswered.
Gabriel Hayes (5/11/25, 8:51 AM):
I had a great experience at this gym. It was spotless, not too crowded, and had a wide variety of equipment available.
Sara Watson (5/7/25, 3:46 PM):
Gym is absolutely fantastic, the atmosphere is lovely and the members are so friendly! The only downside is the challenge of finding parking space, but it's definitely worth it for such a positive experience!
Frank Gomez (5/5/25, 3:27 AM):
Spotless facilities and a welcoming team. What else could one ask for?
Kyle Adams (5/4/25, 10:10 PM):
The staff at this gym are just brilliant and the facility is absolutely fabulous!
James Thomas (5/4/25, 4:39 PM):
I've been a member of various gyms before, but I don't recall ever feeling as committed as I do now, and I believe a lot of that has to do with the amazing staff here. The instructors are so supportive and always checking in on your progress, which really motivates you to keep pushing yourself.
Grace Bailey (5/2/25, 12:19 PM):
The staff at this gym is absolutely brilliant! Their customer service is top-notch, and the atmosphere for working out is so welcoming.
