Awesome crossfit box in the heart of downtown, with budget-friendly drop-in rates for out-of-towners
Jack Moore (4/27/25, 12:53 PM):
Incredible time at this establishment!! I was a member of the gym for well over a year before having to move for work.

Top 3 Highlights
#1 - The owner and staff are incredibly accommodating and willing to work with you to create the best possible environment. They take a holistic approach, considering quality of life factors that larger chains often overlook. The owner is always looking to improve and innovate with the equipment/setup/experience to provide the best for members.

#2 - The location! Situated in a fantastic neighborhood and close to major transit lines, it was always easy for me to stop by with my unpredictable schedule.

#3 - Having 24/7 access was a game-changer. The high-quality showers, storage options, and strength training facilities meant I could take my time and not feel rushed. I could keep a week's worth of workout gear on hand, so the only limits to my progress were my own. No more rushing to finish before closing time at 9 pm!!!
Andrew Martin (4/26/25, 11:20 AM):
Graham, Coach Mike, and Vaughn were absolutely brilliant! They are so passionate and bring a high level of energy every single day.
Ruth Garcia (4/25/25, 6:48 PM):
Disclaimer: I attended an introductory session and opted not to continue. The gym is tidy, well-lit, offers shower facilities on-site, and conducts outdoor workouts under cover (with heaters in the winter) where you can exercise without a mask.

Nevertheless, this franchise is notably pricey. To become a member, you can expect to pay anywhere from $520 to $1360, depending on how often you work out and your level of experience. They have a partnership with a health testing facility next door that resembles Goop, and a body scan is included in each membership package. Following that, it costs $160 per month for 2 classes a week ($280 for unlimited classes) with no extra perks; there's no access to the gym outside of class times, and no additional mobility sessions. I didn't receive any information about the qualifications of the coaches during the introduction, which could have justified the cost. To put it into perspective, the unlimited package at the upscale local gym includes group exercise classes, access to the pool, HIIT, and cycling for $190 per month.
Elizabeth Ortiz (4/25/25, 3:01 PM):
Popped by this place while I was in town. The gym is alright and my trainer was really upbeat and motivating. However, that's pretty much where the positives end. There was no briefing on the whiteboard and the class felt a bit chaotic. We were doing front squats and the trainer kept pushing me to lift more weight. I was already at 80% of my 1RM for 5 reps, and when I said I was happy where I was, he suggested I use a belt. Then during the workout, he kept on "chirping" at me every time I took a break. I've been a CrossFitter for a while and know how to stay safe, but these things bothered me on principle. Nonetheless, the trainer was really positive and motivating. Someone just needs to let him know that this isn't CrossFit back in 2008.
Noah Morales (4/24/25, 12:15 PM):
Lovely little box with ample features and gear. Just what I required while away from home! Thank you CFShaw!
Melissa Gutierrez (4/23/25, 1:34 PM):
Top-notch CrossFit box in DC! The gear is spot on and everything is super tidy and organized, mate
Albert Cooper (4/23/25, 12:39 PM):

Allison Williams (4/22/25, 11:13 AM):
Absolutely the top spot to get your workout on in DC, the coaches are fantastic, super friendly and supportive. The gym is consistently tidy and well-kept. The fitness routines are diverse and push you to your limits. This is truly motivating!
Rebecca Sanders (4/20/25, 6:18 PM):
Graham is the absolute best! Committed to his craft, he truly makes each workout fun and distinctive.
Amy Bailey (4/20/25, 3:22 PM):
Fantastic gym. Tons of flexibility. Wonderful coaches. Top-notch equipment. Definitely recommend. And the price is quite reasonable as well!
Peter Myers (4/17/25, 3:34 PM):
I was looking for a new Crossfit Box in DC, recently left another for their terrible service. This one is incredibly well-organized, with excellent customer service, and the folks here are just so welcoming, no matter their level of experience. I've decided to stick around for a bit; seems like the optimal choice for me.
Matthew Morgan (4/16/25, 8:32 PM):
This gym is top-notch! I recently moved to the area and stumbled upon this gem, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer. The emphasis on proper form right from the start and the structured training program have really set this place apart from other CrossFit gyms I've been to. Graham, the owner, is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to health, nutrition, and even local history. Whether you're a seasoned CrossFitter or just starting out, this welcoming community is the place to be for steady progress and support. Don't hesitate, join today!
