The best all-around workout I've had in a long time (probably since my college soccer days) - I'm hooked!!!

William Rivera (6/7/25, 4:49 AM):
I say, I popped over to DC for a spot of holidaying and needed to clock in my Marathon Month miles. Quite chuffed that I managed to make the time to swing by this joint. For any other travelers out there, it was jolly convenient to the hotels and convention center in the vicinity. The staff were simply lovely. And a massive shoutout to Coach Dwayne. Top-notch playlist. Fab coaching. Not just recommending heavier weights, but diving right into custom rep ranges and throwing in some bonus challenges for good measure. With over 900 classes under my belt at OTF, that was a right cracking first for me. Just a heads up for any visitors: They're still using the old style treads at the moment. No biggie, but it did take me a bit to get accustomed to them again. There was a wee surcharge for me, but it was quite reasonable (and lower than other metro areas). Cheers!

Susan Ortiz (6/2/25, 11:40 PM):
I popped into this gym for a spell whilst on a work placement in DC. I absolutely adore my Orange Theory studio back in Michigan. The workout itself is top-notch, naturally, and that stays consistent regardless of the location, but what really wins me over are the coaches, the staff, the ambiance. It's just so friendly and warm. I was so smitten that I didn't want to give it up, even if it meant shelling out extra dough for this high-end studio to keep at it during my internship. However, my experience at this particular studio has been rather negative, I must say. The music is blaringly loud (pardon my old-fashioned sensibilities, but it's truly deafening), and when I asked if they could lower the volume a tad because it was physically painful, the coach chuckled at my request. They did provide me with earplugs, which I used each time, and I was grateful for that, but despite my explanation about the potential hearing damage from prolonged exposure to 85+ decibels, they made no effort to adjust it. Some of the coaches are fantastic, while others come off quite intense and drill sergeant-like, which I suppose is par for the course in many places, but they don't seem as connected to the clients as I've experienced in other studios. On a particularly trying day, I was delayed at work due to a student emergency, got stuck in Uber traffic, sprinted two blocks, arrived at 4:38 for the 4:30 class, and was turned away. It wasn't a full session; it was simply their policy. I'm usually punctual to classes, typically arriving early, but they couldn't make an exception this time. My home studio back in Michigan was so understanding and compassionate in a similar situation, but not so much here. I will acknowledge that a few staff members and coaches have been pleasant and amicable, and I don't want to paint a wholly negative picture. There are a couple of gentlemen at the reception desk, a coach named Ashley (to be fair, I haven't interacted with all the coaches), and some delightful fellow clients who are all dedicated to fostering a positive environment. Nonetheless, considering the wealth of other gyms in DC, I would recommend seeking out one that prioritizes client care a bit more holistically. Such establishments do exist, and ultimately, I believe it does make a difference.
Dylan Perry (6/2/25, 4:21 PM):
Absolutely adore my home gym setup! I've been a proud member of Orangetheory for more than 2 years now, and my love for this workout just keeps growing. Each session brings something unique and fresh. The team at this gym is incredibly welcoming and supportive. They ensure you grasp the rules and assist with any tech-related queries. To top it off, they've introduced a towel service that sets them apart from other gyms in the DC area, staying competitive in the bustling fitness market. With the option to tailor your workout, Orangetheory is perfect for those seeking a new challenge but feeling a bit hesitant. Give Orangetheory a go!
Ralph Cruz (6/1/25, 4:06 AM):
I've been OTF-ing for 5 years now and I must say, OTF Mt. Vernon is me favorite workout class! The coaches provide top-notch guidance, the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the tunes are absolutely smashing!
Nicholas Hamilton (5/31/25, 1:34 PM):
Top-notch, mate! The vibe here is just smashing, with staff who really know their stuff and take the time to walk you through how to maximize your workout. They help you set some cracking SMART goals using a heart rate monitor. And let me tell you, they give you a gentle nudge in the right direction without an ounce of judgment. To me, this is what fitness training is all about. I reckon it'd be ace to see more Orangetheory Fitness Centers like this one popping up in more communities. I'm chuffed I gave it a go. It's an experience that's absolutely a must-try. Cheers!
Richard Rodriguez (5/30/25, 6:46 PM):

Jennifer Foster (5/27/25, 5:33 PM):
Ughhhhhh! Though the workout may be challenging, it yields results. The customer service is on par with other group fitness centers, and this one is conveniently located near my abode.
Angela Watson (5/24/25, 8:25 AM):
OTF provides a fantastic workout experience. OTF Mount Vernon stands out especially because their coaches and staff are incredibly welcoming and supportive. I really enjoy visiting this studio.
Grace Myers (5/23/25, 3:15 AM):

Fantastic workouts & fantastic coaches.
Louis Ramos (5/22/25, 9:00 PM):
I absolutely adore OTF and this place is simply fabulous!
Ralph Sullivan (5/22/25, 1:46 AM):
The music was a bit too loud, making it somewhat challenging to hear the instructor (though I believe it could have been due to how the mic was set up). However, everything else was fantastic. The workout was the usual high-intensity, calorie-burning session that I always enjoy. What really stood out to me was the way they were prepared for my arrival with paperwork, a locker, and even water for my class. I felt incredibly welcomed!
Megan Hayes (5/21/25, 8:05 AM):
Splendid class, and Coach Inez is quite skilled. One of the finest physical challenges I've ever encountered.
Riley Scott (5/21/25, 6:33 AM):
Absolutely smashing! This workout always keeps my body on its toes, pushing me, sweating, and continuously improving. I absolutely adore how it challenges my whole body in the best way possible.
