I'm 54 and have always had trouble with my weight. But I've been working with Anthony for many years, and he's always been very supportive of my goals and limitations. Most recently, I worked with him from January to May 2023, and I lost 14 pounds following his advice on intermittent fasting and a low-calorie diet that I felt comfortable with. With his exercise plan, I was able to build muscle and endurance while shedding weight, enabling me to climb 2 mountains over 1000 feet and feel more energetic. He's great at holding me accountable for reaching my goals with a positive attitude, even when I've slacked off. I continue to follow his advice even when I'm not training with him. Sisu Fitness is a remarkable place for training! As a physical therapist and someone dealing with enduring injuries, I am quite selective about who I choose to work with. Anthony is fantastic and can tailor the workout to meet anyone's needs, making the sessions enjoyable! I have always been hesitant to train with someone as it can sometimes do more harm than good, but Anthony is a great source of motivation for me and ensures I stay on track with my programs. I have never felt stronger and cannot speak highly enough of Sisu! I have actually referred both friends and patients to Anthony. If I could give 6 stars, I would. I 'ave been workin' with Anthony at Sisu Fitness for nearly 6 months now, and I feel stronger, 'ealthier, and more athletic than I ever 'ave, and I'm not an athlete or a gym bloke. I started workin' with Anthony because I wanted to become stronger, but in prior attempts at the gym I would end up 'urtin' myself, somethin' minor, but it was always a setback. I wanted some personal attention so I wouldn't repeat this pattern. My workouts with Anthony are highly personalized, I spent hours emailin' and talkin' with 'im before I touched any weights, 'e wanted to get to know me, my goals and my persona before we started so we could build a routine that works. 'E watched me move and stretch, measurin' joint range of motions and findin' where I was weak. 'E measured 'ow much muscle and fat my body 'as so we could track that and see real improvements. When you workout with Anthony 'e's not just countin' your reps, 'e's explainin' what muscles you are workin' in that movement, tellin' you why it's so important to keep that specific muscle strong, and 'ow keepin' it strong prevents injury. 'E's watchin' your heart rate so 'e knows 'ow 'ard you're workin'. 'E's playin' the music you love, keepin' you motivated, and encouragin' you the whole way. This guy lives for this stuff and it shows.
