If you're on the lookout for a friendly and enjoyable gym atmosphere to enhance your strength and enhance your athletic abilities, then Ethos is the place for you.

I commenced my training with Margaret in 2018, nearly a year following the birth of my first baby. Margaret assisted me in restoring my strength, equilibrium, and stability. She was kind and understanding as I gradually made progress. In 2020, I welcomed my second baby and after a challenging pregnancy and postpartum phase (along with a break during the pandemic), I returned to Ethos in the spring of 2021. This time, due to my previous work with Margaret and her team, I felt much more self-assured in the gym and had a strong foundation to build upon.

I have been consistently working out at Ethos ever since and honestly, I have never felt fitter or healthier. Not only has my regimen helped in boosting my fitness levels, but I never consider going to the gym as a task. Margaret has cultivated a supportive and inviting community where I am motivated to continually enhance and uphold my dedication to myself. I am extremely thankful to Margaret, her expert trainers, and the other Ethos members for standing by me throughout my journey.

I began joining group conditioning sessions at Rogue Performance in November 2013 and am now working out 5-6 times a week focusing on conditioning and strength training. I have become stronger and fitter in a shorter period of time compared to any other gym I have been to, and have seen transformations in my physique that I never imagined possible. The personal attention, motivation, and support that Jon, Matt, and Margaret consistently provide make this gym truly exceptional. Emphasizing proper form and safe training to prevent injuries, whether your objectives are weight loss, athletic performance, or weekend warrior activities. The workouts are always engaging, always demanding, and I can honestly say I have never once checked the clock during a session. This is the place to achieve your fitness goals.

Many gyms out there charge exorbitant prices despite their owners and instructors only having completed a brief weekend course, lacking the knowledge to design effective workout programs. I've been a member at this establishment for 10 months now, and I can unequivocally assert that this place is top-notch. Just consider the impressive credentials of these instructors – Jon, Margaret, and Rob. Not only are they exceptionally kind and passionate about their craft, but their expertise shines through in their approach. They're not merely there to shout above the music and act as cheerleaders while you exercise. Instead, they actively work on correcting your form and providing additional guidance as needed, ensuring you develop a solid foundation for both mental and physical growth. Their meticulously designed programs are tailored to enhance your performance and minimize the risk of injuries during activities outside the gym. The aesthetic aspect of looking fit is just a delightful bonus. The atmosphere at Ethos is truly remarkable, and I've yet to encounter anyone who regrets joining this community. Having been a member of the community for more than a year now... Ethos never fails to leave a lasting impression. They delve into every facet of training and have guided me from merely dabbling in weights to becoming a bona fide lifter. While I've been in good shape previously, this is the first time I truly feel empowered. The anticipation of hitting the gym now excites me. Additionally, they provide expert advice on nutrition and adapt to your individual starting point.

This gym is absolutely brilliant, mate! Their personalized workout programs are top-notch and help you smash your fitness goals. And let me tell you, they've gone above and beyond during this whole Covid-19 situation. They offered flexible payment options for members in need and even lent out all their gear so we could keep up with our gains at home. They've rolled out new digital workouts and other home-friendly options too. Now that the gym's reopened, it's squeaky clean and they've put loads of safety measures in place to keep everyone in tip-top shape. The workouts have been reimagined to make sure we're keeping a safe social distance while still getting the gains we crave. Compared to other gyms I've tried, this place is in a league of its own, I'm telling ya.

This spot is absolutely brilliant. The team and infrastructure are both top-notch. Each individual receives a customized training plan tailored to their unique fitness level. This gym is truly exceptional and unlike any other - it's definitely NOT your typical "just run on a treadmill for an hour" kind of establishment. Before you even lay a finger on a weight, you sit down with a personal trainer to chat about what brought you in. From there, you receive a customized plan and dive right into lifting those weights. And you keep lifting them. Over and over again. There's always a trainer around when you're working out, whether it's one-on-one or in a group setting. So, if you're feeling uncertain or not quite doing things right, they'll set you on the right path straight away.

On top of building strength, I've discovered that I am capable of things I had previously written off with the mindset of "I can't do that". If Margaret wasn't there gently nudging me towards "yes, I can do that", I wouldn't have achieved those feats.

Moreover, every person I've crossed paths with at this gym, from fellow clients to staff members to the owner, has been welcoming, encouraging, and entirely non-judgmental. It's a wonderfully supportive and warm environment to break a sweat in!

2024 Update:
A decade on and I'm still hitting the gym at Ethos. Over the years, I've smashed out 10+ pull-ups, squatted a solid 300 lbs, skied across the globe, conquered the Grand Canyon in under 8 hours, paddled for Team USA injury-free, and just generally loving life. All this with no L5 troubles! I've set and achieved a range of goals, always feeling supported in my endeavors by the training. Whether you're a bit rusty from time away from the gym, new to lifting weights (ladies, this includes you 👀), or think you don't need something too intense, I dare you to give it a shot. Your future self will thank you when you're 65 and effortlessly getting up from the ground. Ultimately, that's what it's all about.

2016 Review:
I've been putting in the work at Rogue for around three years now, and I couldn't be happier with the results. After struggling with a back injury for seven years, stepping into Rogue brought me a sense of familiarity in my movements and strength that I hadn't felt since before my injury. Within a year of training, I found myself feeling stronger and more stable than ever.

Not only do you benefit greatly from personalized workouts tailored to your goals, but you also gain from Rogue's vast knowledge and expertise. It's like a bottomless pit of wisdom! They are always seeking to expand their knowledge and implement cutting-edge training methods in the gym. I trust their intelligent training programs to help me achieve any goal I set my sights on.

Keeping this review concise has been quite the challenge.

Training at Ethos has truly transformed my life. As a multi-sport athlete with a background in professional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and more recently, French Ring, I have trained at various facilities and under different coaches, but none have delivered the results that Ethos has. I have become a faster, stronger, and more knowledgeable athlete. I've gained insights into proper nutrition, sleep, and recovery. It's been almost 5 years since I started training at Ethos, if not longer.

Recently, I underwent knee surgery, and Ethos played a crucial role in both my prehab and rehab journey. Margaret developed a personalized program for me before the surgery to ensure I was in top form. Post-surgery, she continued to create programs to help me maintain my strength. Five weeks after the surgery, although my knee's range of motion is still limited, I feel strong and can see the progress we are making as a team towards my recovery.

The icing on the cake is the incredible community at Ethos. From day one, I was welcomed with open arms. The ethos culture itself deserves its own review. I consider myself extremely lucky to have found a community of dedicated individuals who support and challenge each other to improve and excel in every way possible.

How frequently do you challenge yourself to the point of discomfort? What truly distinguishes this gym from others is their ability to assist you in pushing your limits with proper form and weight.

I began training around March 2014 after injuring my elbow during sparring. It had reached a stage where I needed to rest it or it would never fully heal. However, like many athletes, I found it challenging to take a break. Margaret guided me in continuing my workouts while keeping my elbow protected. Now, in October, I am preparing to resume boxing and am still in good shape.

I believe that Jonathan, Matt, and Margaret are highly skilled and knowledgeable, enabling them to help you strengthen during recovery and achieve your desired goals.

This is a fantastic spot to get your workout in, with top-notch coaches who ensure you're performing at your best. I'm thrilled they were able to reopen post-Covid closure. I was initially apprehensive about exercising with a mask, but it's honestly not as difficult as I thought. The staff are doing an excellent job of maintaining cleanliness and sterilization of the equipment. If you're on the lookout for a place to work on your fitness, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

The customized workout plans, educational resources, and unwavering support yield results and offer that special something I couldn't achieve through my own repeated strength training routines. As someone who works remotely and travels frequently, it's easy to fall off track. Thanks to Ethos' online training program accessible via an app, I've been able to consistently train, track my progress, and stay in touch with my coach. If thou hast an injury or wish to prevent one and be hale enough to achieve ongoing results, this be the place! I did come to Rogue after five years of ongoing back and hip injuries, a hip surgery, years of and countless PTs, muscle activation therapy, acupuncture, cortisone injections (etc.-ye name it, I've tried it) and was still in pain. I bethought I had tried it all, including all the functional movement centers and was still in pain day in and day out. I did desire to return to the long distance triathlons I had missed so much. With a background as a certified yoga and spin instructor, I was particular about where to train but went thither with Margaret's commendation when I did notice Margaret was the only yoga class I could attend without injuring my low back. Jon, Matt, and Margaret doth understand the body and listen to thy needs without making me feel like a wimp when a movement is detrimental to my recovery. Rogue doth offer aught to all levels from the casual person looking to lose a few pounds to the athlete who wishes to push himself or herself to the extreme without injury!

I've been training at Ethos for just over a month now, and I must say, it's been an absolute delight. The coaches and the gym itself are top-notch, exceeding all my expectations. Ethos doesn't just focus on your training regime; they also take into account nutrition, sleep, and other crucial factors. Jonathan and the whole crew at Ethos are incredibly welcoming, making you feel right at home from day one. Despite only being there for a short while, I already feel like I've known them for years. I can't help but sing Ethos' praises and recommend them to everyone I know.
