I used to fancy this rink, but when the high school hockey season got axed because the rink didn't want travel players using it... Yet, while watching the Caps game, I found out they're going to host Craig Laughlin's ADM training there in March with travel players. It's not fair for my senior and others, very disappointed.

I wouldn’t suggest the "learn to skate" program. You pay 100 dollars for six weeks of lessons at the basic level, but they only last for 30 minutes each. And when it's time for evaluations, they judge as if the underprivileged children are training for the Olympics! Honestly, not worth the money.
I gave it three stars because the children enjoy ice skating, but the quality of the "learn to skate" program leaves much to be desired.
Helen Gray (4/28/25, 2:12 AM):
Oh my stars, there's an absolute blast of fun to be had at the recreation center! They've got a plethora of activities to choose from, so you'll never have a dull moment.
Brian Hernandez (4/28/25, 2:00 AM):
This here recreational center is just fantastic, I tell ya! Folks can be ice skating out there while others are indoors tackling the rock wall! S'wonderful, ain't it?
Janice James (4/26/25, 10:04 PM):
Fabulous spot. We're bringing our little ones to their skating lessons and absolutely adore the venue. Cheers!
Carol Hayes (4/25/25, 5:38 AM):
Fantastic seating arrangement to watch your kids or grandkids play sports, with the added bonus of being well-maintained.
Michael Hamilton (4/21/25, 1:30 PM):
It's always a blast to catch some Northern high hockey games on Friday nights.
Ethan Smith (4/19/25, 7:21 PM):
Visited the World Gym. It wasn't crowded and had all the equipment for a killer chest workout, but was missing a hammer strength incline machine. Overall, a fantastic bodybuilding gym.
Allison Turner (4/18/25, 2:09 AM):
Fantastic spot for indoor sports, especially for the little ones 👏 ...
Virginia Graham (4/15/25, 8:14 AM):
I would mainly rate this place based on the ice rink. The temperature in the rink is a bit too warm, resulting in subpar ice conditions. It would be beneficial for them to maintain a cooler environment or enhance their cooling system. On a positive note, Mike's Sporting Goods inside is a pleasant spot with well-informed staff. If you're in need of hockey gear, Mike is your guy. As for the sports court, it appears to be quite decent from what I've seen, although I haven't personally used it much.
Alice Williams (4/15/25, 12:36 AM):
I popped by the 2018 Southern Maryland health fair and it was absolutely brilliant!
Shirley Russell (4/14/25, 1:23 PM):
Lovely ice rink. Top-notch ice.
Laura Perez (4/13/25, 3:46 AM):
I absolutely adore the vibes of this place
Beverly Torres (4/10/25, 8:01 AM):
There are no vegetarian options available for food, but the rink is quite good.
Laura Foster (4/9/25, 8:49 AM):
I spent 12 hours at this facility for a volleyball tournament, so I'll only discuss the center from that perspective. There isn't much space for spectators, but the bathrooms are kept fairly clean despite the high traffic. They have a good selection of vending machines for drinks, and the snack bar is reasonably priced and delivers orders in a timely manner. However, there were moments when they appeared a bit disorganized. While not the top choice for a tournament venue, it's certainly not the worst either. The center is situated behind a shopping complex, so when their parking lot is full, other options are conveniently close by.
Helen Kelly (4/7/25, 7:27 PM):
The center is lovely, but the price for a day pass is rather steep, wouldn't you say?
Diana Ford (4/7/25, 9:53 AM):
The gym inside has a dreadful scent. It's quite challenging to work out in such conditions. They really need to improve their cleaning efforts.
Austin Hill (4/6/25, 6:00 PM):
Stick and Puck is a great way to improve your hockey skills.
Julia Scott (4/3/25, 12:29 PM):
Oh, let me tell you something peculiar: within this establishment, they offer ice skating, basketball, and volleyball. But what truly sets it apart is the caliber of the skaters. We stationed ourselves in the waiting area and observed individuals honing their ice skating skills, and it was abundantly clear that some were top-tier competitors! A truly delightful spectacle to behold.
Abigail Bailey (4/2/25, 6:25 PM):
A splendid spot for ice hockey and various other sports, it is.
