Quite tidy despite the ongoing construction.
Evelyn Myers (4/29/25, 8:53 AM):
My domicile gym. Open 24 hours a day. They possess all the necessities. Swear your allegiance to Uncle Sam for entry, or master the ways of the contractor.
Keith Mitchell (4/28/25, 12:59 PM):
A wide array of fitness gear available for your workout needs.
Peter Morales (4/27/25, 11:57 AM):
My absolute favorite gym, I must say!
Daniel Clark (4/27/25, 3:13 AM):
Splendid, tidy, spacious, well-organized.
Allison Long (4/26/25, 12:26 AM):
It could be a bit more spacious, it's certainly on the smaller side for a gym. I really like the huge pictures of famous bodybuilders on the wall.
Dylan Kim (4/25/25, 1:24 PM):
I would absolutely love to see the revival of spin classes.
Kelly Perez (4/22/25, 3:22 AM):
There seems to be a surplus of impolite individuals around here... perhaps a touch of refinement wouldn't go amiss, USAF.
Christine Phillips (4/18/25, 8:02 PM):
This place should be fantastic. They've spruced up the most horrid restroom in the world, and I have to give them props for that. However, it's quite vexing to see top-notch equipment being swapped out for subpar gear simply due to cost. The new machines they bring in always seem like a step down if you're aiming for a hypertrophy workout. The weight racks are a mess with different-sized plates all over the place, making it a hassle to find what you need. Plus, there are loud individuals wearing headphones who can't resist singing or whistling away.
Barbara Simmons (4/18/25, 12:33 PM):
Big gym with a wide variety of equipment!
Katherine Alexander (4/17/25, 5:02 PM):
I absolutely love everything about this gym. It's spotless, the trainers are super friendly and motivating, and the steam room is fantastic. But you know what really sets it apart? The folks who sweat it out alongside you. Top marks all around!
Judy Mitchell (4/16/25, 12:38 PM):
This gym is absolutely dreadful. I've been at Andrews for 7 years, and I reckon that perhaps only 1.5 of those years the gym was functioning properly. The bathrooms reek of bleached sewage, it's quite off-putting. They are always "updating/upgrading," which essentially means they take equipment out of commission for absurdly long periods with little to no improvement in return (splurging on a TRX upgrade when the previous one was perfectly fine and taking a whole year to do so is just one of a thousand examples). The machines are decent, but accessing them can be a challenge due to the floor that seemingly takes forever to finish. Why not move them to the spacious tactical area? It remains puzzling. They close unexpectedly for holidays or shut early when the holiday falls on the following week, without any signs to inform the visitors. The weights are often left strewn about because some users fail to rerack them, and this behavior goes unaddressed. They have the luxury of not needing to keep customers satisfied as it's government-operated, but it's incredibly frustrating to deal with. On the bright side, the basketball court is quite pleasant. The staff are helpful and, 99% of the time, very pleasant.
Judy Bennett (4/16/25, 6:04 AM):
Fantastic spot to get in a solid sweat sesh and uplift the spirits!
Barbara Hayes (4/11/25, 11:17 PM):
Splendid array of gear, I must say
John Peterson (4/11/25, 12:25 PM):
24-hour gym access. Loads of gear. What's not to love?
Megan Fisher (4/11/25, 10:48 AM):
It's typically jam-packed before the workday and during post-work hours. Drill weekends also see a surge in attendance. The best times to go are during off-peak hours.
Gloria Henderson (4/11/25, 3:30 AM):
This is certainly one of those gyms where the goal is to go there and get a good workout. There aren't many extras, but the space is not overly crowded and there is ample room to exercise. The facility isn't massive, but it is spacious and exceptionally clean.
Eric Brown (4/11/25, 1:58 AM):
Fantastic gym with loads of equipment. The layout is spot on but could do with some newer cardio gear.
Daisy Davis (4/10/25, 5:34 PM):
Lovely atmosphere, not too busy and very well-maintained equipment.
Margaret Rivera (4/10/25, 3:40 PM):
A proper gym for military men and women, both serving and retired, along with their families, to work out. The center is committed to upholding a superior level of fitness, not just your average gym visit. I'd say the facility is retiree-friendly, as active duty folks tend to hit the gym either early in the morning or late in the day, leaving the retirees to enjoy the gym to themselves during the main hours of the day for their workouts.
