This Gym is an absolutely dreadful place to visit. The management is beyond terrible. I made the decision to terminate my membership back in September, yet they persist in withdrawing funds from my card without consent. Not only have they been charging my card without permission, but they have also exceeded the agreed-upon monthly fee. I strongly advise against signing up at this establishment.

I must say, I am quite disappointed with the level of customer service provided by this gym. My daughter, who is currently a college student, informed them that she would be leaving. Despite being on a month-to-month plan and notifying them on 8/5, they not only charged $29.99 for the month of August but also an additional $39.99 without any explanation. I inquired about the extra charge and was informed that she needed to cancel a month in advance, although it still remains unclear what the $39.99 fee is for.

My husband has been a member for 15 years, and my son is also a member, yet they were unwilling to waive the fee. At this point, I am considering suggesting that my son and husband seek membership at another gym.

I have some concerns about the childcare team (if you can even call them that) at the gym. There are quite a few young staff members there who always seem to be glued to their phones and not paying enough attention (there's even one girl dealing with her newborn while on duty). As a result, they aren't fully focused on looking after the kids in the gym. In the past couple of weeks, my daughter has been hurt twice, and it seems like the staff either didn't notice what was happening or weren't attentive enough to prevent these incidents. I am really disappointed with the childcare staff, the gym's childcare policies, and the lack of supervision in this area. I am seriously thinking about ending my membership.

I rang up Fitness Evolution on 8/29 to put my membership on hold for three months, and the kind receptionist sorted that out for me. Yet, on 9/3, I noticed a charge for September on my account, so I phoned up for clarification. The receptionist informed me that this payment is for when the account becomes active again. Fast forward to today, 10/4, and I see ANOTHER charge for October. When I reached out to Fitness Evolution, the manager clarified that this is accurate because I didn't pause one billing cycle beforehand. It's frustrating to have been billed for September and October while my gym membership is supposed to be frozen. I'm going to cancel my membership TODAY; this situation is simply absurd. I've kept detailed call logs as evidence of when I contacted Fitness Evolution and will be discussing this matter with the manager.

It used to feel somewhat exclusive, catering only to a certain clique, before Jamie took the reins. The sight of all those incredibly fit and attractive people working out there may be daunting for some, but upon my return post-lockdown, I noticed a much more inclusive atmosphere. Despite not being a regular, the staff went out of their way to remember my name and routinely inquire about my well-being. That level of personal attention means a great deal to me and demonstrates a genuine appreciation for their clientele.

This gym is decent, but the sheer number of members exceeds the available space inside. Additionally, being located in a complex makes parking a complete nightmare no matter the time of day. On a quiet day with ample parking, it's fantastic, but at any other time, you'll find yourself in a frustrating situation trying to enjoy a proper workout.

You are truly better off opting for Planet Fitness.

I've been a member at this gym for approximately a year. During this time, the equipment has not been properly cared for. The treadmills' belts urgently need replacing, and the weight lifting equipment requires regular maintenance. The locker rooms are far from clean. It's clear that there is a lack of investment in this facility to uphold decent standards.

Moreover, a "year membership" actually spans 13 months.

Subsequently, I decided to join Planet Fitness and discovered that their equipment is maintained to a much higher standard, and their staff are notably more helpful.

Oh mate, let me tell you, cancelling with this gym is an absolute nightmare! They kept taking money from my card for 3 months after I cancelled! And even after I rang them up to sort it out, they flat out refused to give me a refund!

I wouldn't advise anyone to trust this gym with your card details, as they'll keep charging you however they please even after you've ended your membership!

Positive aspects: The staff and instructors are top-notch at this gym. They really know how to motivate and support you in your fitness journey.

On the downside, there are some issues that need addressing. The sound system in the studio often cuts out, which can disrupt the flow of a workout. Additionally, there have been ongoing problems with the air conditioning and plumbing, making the environment less than ideal.

Another inconvenience is that the ceiling fans in the studio are always on low speed, which can make it stuffy during intense workout sessions. Despite multiple complaints about these issues, no significant improvements have been made.

There was also a change in policy regarding guest visits. Previously, members could bring one guest for free per visit, but now there is a $15 charge per guest, which some may find disappointing.

In terms of membership fees, there seems to be some confusion. After canceling their membership in June, this commenter was charged an additional $29.99 for July, along with the annual dues of $29.99. It's worth noting that the annual dues are typically for the upcoming year, so this was an unexpected cost.
