Martha Cooper (6/6/25, 5:53 AM):
I 'ave been comin' to VASA 'ere in Thornton for ova a year now, and when I first started, it was nah like it is now. Since Patrick 'as been 'ere, the gym 'as 'ad a lot of remodelin' done, been a lot cleaner, and overall a much betta experience! It's also really cool to see the Manager goin' around the gym cleanin' up and creatin' a great experience!
Katherine Coleman (6/5/25, 9:36 AM):
There's so much on offer! I can do Yoga, HIIT, and strength classes for a steal! The community is fantastic too!
Patrick Carter (6/4/25, 11:29 AM):
Studio classes are absolutely brilliant! The timetable really helps me stay on track. The coaches are fantastic, so supportive, and I adore the encouragement!
Brenda Adams (6/3/25, 4:19 PM):
I visited from out of town and attended Lisa's studio's red class with a guest, and it was absolutely fabulous! The playlist was on point! Could you kindly share the link?
Walter Russell (6/2/25, 3:02 AM):
I attended Abby's 6am Studio Red Class. Fabulous coach and a brilliant atmosphere.
Vincent Perez (6/1/25, 7:33 AM):
A lot of their equipment is broken. The hot tub has been out of order for over a month. I've asked the manager, district manager, and corporate to call me, but no one has returned my calls. However, they have no problem taking my monthly payment.

Just your typical corporate business.
Alexander Graham (5/31/25, 4:09 PM):
I popped in this evening on the 25th of February in order to have a look around the gym. Kaleb was there to welcome me. From the moment I stepped in, he greeted me warmly and was more than happy to show me around the entire facility. I really appreciated the customer service and was very pleased with my experience, both with the staff and the tour.
Helen Russell (5/29/25, 3:25 PM):
I absolutely adore Studio Lift! I have taken classes with Kiersten, Courtney, Di, and Hector, and they are all fantastic instructors who really know how to provide a killer workout!
Laura Kim (5/27/25, 8:11 PM):
The gym is absolutely fabulous and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! However, I must say that the men's locker room is truly one of the most dreadful places I have ever encountered. It seems to emit an aroma reminiscent of a pail filled with urine every single time I have had the misfortune of entering it. The showers are perpetually devoid of soap, and the area is consistently littered with trash. It is quite disheartening, considering how lovely the remainder of the gym is. I find myself recoiling in disgust whenever I venture into the restroom or locker room section.
Katherine Nguyen (5/26/25, 8:37 AM):
I wouldn't recommend this gym at all. I didn't receive much guidance on fitness when I asked for it, and when I tried to cancel, it wasn't clear that I needed to do it in writing. They kept charging me month after month, along with additional fees. I ended up having to pay $200 for time I didn't even use after canceling through the app.

Overall, this was a terrible customer experience, and I am extremely unsatisfied.
Jennifer Alexander (5/23/25, 11:17 AM):
6 massage chairs, only 1 is functional. It also emanates an unpleasant odor reminiscent of urine. Disgusting. Spare your funds. Avoid joining this gym.
Marilyn Jackson (5/21/25, 10:14 AM):
The best gym around, I must say! They've got all you need for a proper workout. The staff is top-notch, so professional and truly invested in their clients' fitness journey. 💪
Frank Gutierrez (5/18/25, 9:02 PM):
A $15 day pass is a steal compared to what you'd typically pay at those bigger gym chains, mate. This place has a cracking variety of free weights, including barbells, not just those bloody Smith machines. The row of cable machines here for lat pull-downs and rows is proper long, I've never seen so many in one spot. They've got loads of gear, just remember to bring a padlock for the lockers.

The only downside is they've only got two rowing machines, and they're those dodgy Matrix ones. One of them's knackered with failed bearings. (Can you tell I struggled to find a fault here? 😂😂)
Joyce Cruz (5/18/25, 4:37 AM):
Ever since Patrick took charge of Thornton, the gym has become a delightful place! The atmosphere is clean and tidy, all the equipment is in perfect working order, the showers are stocked with soap, and the trash is taken out regularly. The wipes are also checked on a regular basis. I really appreciate these improvements at the gym.
Leonard Collins (5/17/25, 5:10 AM):
I reckon the staff simply made the choice to skip work for the day. The Gym is supposed to open at 4, yet it's 5:30 and shut tight. Not a soul in sight, no sign to be found... nary a peep.

*update*
Doors flung open at 5:35, a bloke and a lass strolled up from the rear, chuckling all the way to the front. No explanation was offered by the haughty female "coach" stationed at the front desk, utterly engrossed in her phone as I departed. Folks were streaming in, but she didn't even cast a glance their way.

The lavatory is awash with rubbish, standing water pooling on the floor, emitting a strong stench of urine.
Margaret White (5/15/25, 12:18 PM):
Fantastic experience signing up for membership and personal training at the gym. Alex Carter was absolutely amazing during the signup process and initial consultation. I decided to go with Alex as my personal trainer.

Bailey at the front desk, Sadie another personal trainer, and Patrick, the general manager, were all incredibly welcoming - true rock stars! This place is simply on fire!!
Emma Robinson (5/14/25, 8:30 AM):
I 'ave been a member of Vasa since 2018. Lately, I've been quite disappointed with the gym and am considering finding a new fitness centre to frequent. The cardio machines 'ave been broken for months now. The loo and shower areas are not kept in good condition or cleaned properly. I understand gyms can get busy, but if you try to go during peak times, you'll spend ages waiting for a machine to become available. A workout that typically takes an hour end up taking two. People will leave their personal belongings on one machine while they use another one, just so 'nother person won't use the machine they're switching between. This gym seems to 'ave no proper rules, which is probably why the workout machines are often out of order. If you pay for the middle-tier plan that includes access to the swimmin' pool, sauna, and steam room, there's nothin' stoppin' everyone from accessing these areas, which defeats the purpose of payin' more. VASA used to be a great gym at the start, but it's definitely gone downhill. I would suggest checkin' out recreation centres or other fitness facilities before signin' up for a gym that's only interested in makin' money and doesn't care 'bout maintainin' the quality of the amenities you pay for every month.
Amber Evans (5/13/25, 4:39 PM):
I started practicing yoga around 2 months back with Shawnie. Being a beginner in the yoga journey, she managed to break it down for me so it was easy to grasp, yet challenging and fulfilling. Back then, I wasn't a member of the studio, but when they introduced the yoga studio and I took a few classes with her, I decided to upgrade my membership. I now make it a point to join her yoga sessions at least once a week, and I highly suggest trying out her other classes too. Treat yourself and drop by her classes – I believe she also teaches at some other Vasa locations nearby.
Matthew Hill (5/13/25, 10:01 AM):
The staff at VASA Fitness are always so friendly and supportive. I highly recommend it to all my friends and family. I especially love their new Flow Studio.
Jonathan James (5/9/25, 6:53 PM):
The gym is absolutely brilliant, they've got all you need for a thorough workout of any sort. The machines are consistently spotless, and the bathrooms are well-kept. Occasionally, the sauna can be slightly cooler than anticipated, but that's a minor issue to rectify. Just be mindful of the post-6 pm rush hour as it tends to get quite crowded like most gyms do.
